Something I'd like to add to the list: Audi A3/TT Quattros, because they ain't quattros. They use VW's Haldex system instead of the Torsen differential, along with the understeering. Also, a bit controversial, but: E46 M3. Don't get me wrong, they're good, but the hype is insane. You could buy a cheap 330 or even a diesel, give it a bit of aftermarket love and you can have more fun on tracks than with a stock M3 - and wouldn't have to deal with BMW's M taxes on certain parts.
1- is a really cheap car compared it with other cars like the Golf GTI/R, civic SI or the TT (Here in south america atleast) 2- you compared it to an audi tt and the tt is a coupe and the brera is a hatchback and of course the tt is gonna be faster 3- IMO it has a really good design and the only bad thing is the interior like what u say, but honestly, who cares about the interior xD Well this is only my opinion and point of view about the car, keep up the great content 👍
I love what was said about Tesla and EV's in general. They can tout them as zero emission vehicles all they want but if the energy comes from the grid there are emissions. People just want to virtue signal. Plus the mining for the materials for the batteries to give them at least marginally acceptable range require a ton of environmental damage. I think if the market was left un molested by big government, media and tech the eventual winner for the medium term for transportation energy would by fuel cells. But that would cost too many big companies too much money.
If only Supras weren't so expensive today (specially talking about the 90s version)... I get the feeling many cool cars are now overrated mainly because their prices have been insanely inflated over the course of the years, and it's true and pretty sad. You know a car is gonna cost you a kidney if everyone wants it, even if it shouldn't actually cost that.
The problem with hydrogen fuel cell car are the hydrogen manufacturing. Because hydrogen are so hard to create the energy you get from isn't better than BEV (even thought logisticly hydrogen are more energy dence the the best battery cell). Im not saying that electric cell car are better than hydrogen fuel cell car, i think that hydrogen fuel cell car is for the FAR future of transportation.
I agree with the tesla tailpipe bit. If you have an electric car you've got to have solar power (or other) to charge it otherwise there isn't much point in having one
it really all depends on where you live. Here we have a lot of solar, wind, gas, and even a few Nuke plants. No coal or oil in sight. I actually use an electric outboard on my sailboat rather than an unreliable gas one.
@@sailingspark9748 Hmm statistics says that 25% of power is produced by COIL, about 26% nuclear power, 3% wind and solar and rest is hydro, gas and biomass. 8:20 I think u r the only other person that realizes that Teslas r overrated. In fact, I don’t even think Tesla would let u do it. So long story short, if u want a good electric car with no range anxiety, u will b forced 2 but a Tesla. Couple that with the huge cult that is anyone who knows who Tesla is and u have Elon Musk’s master plan 2 bankrupt everyone. I’m pretty sure I once heard Elon say that he doesn’t care of his cars still as long as all cars on the road transition 2 electric, but I don’t think that’s the case. I worked with kia and toyota in dealership parts departments. Corolla is not overrated it's earned place. Kia on the other hand has recently, by comparison, become a decent car. They used to come off the truck needing a new battery the next day and sportage made my monthly commission checks pretty good. I still prefer toyota but now it's personal preference not the fact that you'd spend half your time at the kia dealer using the 10yr 100k mile warranty for all it's worth.

I like the Smart Fortwo, because it's one of those cars that immediately tell you what to expect from it's owner - and in this case nothing good.
I’ll take an E92 M3 over an E46 M3 any day

The brera overrated? that car is more underrated than overrated, still great list
I've listed the reasons why I think its overrated.
I'm really interested to hear your reasons why it is underrated. 🙂
1- is a really cheap car compared it with other cars like the Golf GTI/R, civic SI or the TT (Here in south america atleast)
2- you compared it to an audi tt and the tt is a coupe and the brera is a hatchback and of course the tt is gonna be faster
3- IMO it has a really good design and the only bad thing is the interior like what u say, but honestly, who cares about the interior xD
Well this is only my opinion and point of view about the car, keep up the great content 👍
@@experience_d3177 i think the interior looks very nice if you just get in in black instead of silver as shown in the video
Experience_ d Agree.Brera is a masterpiece
The Brera and Spider have a lot more in common with the Audi TT than with the hot hatchbacks you mentioned.
Unpopular opinion
I love what was said about Tesla and EV's in general. They can tout them as zero emission vehicles all they want but if the energy comes from the grid there are emissions. People just want to virtue signal. Plus the mining for the materials for the batteries to give them at least marginally acceptable range require a ton of environmental damage. I think if the market was left un molested by big government, media and tech the eventual winner for the medium term for transportation energy would by fuel cells. But that would cost too many big companies too much money.
Your content is super amazing unique, one day I'm sure you will cross a million subs stay blessed bro
I definely same toughts with you expecially with Supra. I always get my friends angry saying that Supra is overrated.
Ps. 8th Car on this list is Golf

It's become overpriced, but it is a good car
yes, hybrids are better than electric cars, same with hydrogen fuel cell cars but except of course if there were more hydrogen fuel stations
Solar panels production makes huge amounts of CO2. (watch some documentary videos about solar production)
EVs are heavy and have enormous Tyre wear (more CO2)
Production of EV makes 70% more CO2 than petrol car,
Summary: Electric vehicles produce more CO2 than petrol cars.
I have a 10 year old Corolla. It has unrivalled quality build and reliability and does 6L per 100kms. It is not ‘boring’ to drive. It’s responsive and has sports mode. I’ve had a land rover, two Audis and a Volvo amongst others but the Corolla has proven to be the best by a country mile!

As a subie fan in general, what you said about the wrx (and the sti version) is really accurate! I cannot deny the fact that it's fun as hell, and that's you don't buy those cars for interior quality but still, they do be quite overrated in 2020 and not up to date. Hope it'll get better in the future for the model / Get a real renew but I sadly don't think so.
They should use interiors such as the outback onyx xt definitely, with the similar motor base but pushed way more and that would be a subarist dream!
Electric vehicles are a joke in Australia. Charging stations are almost non-existant and unless you have a private garage there is nowhere to plug in, furthermore you're supporting a coal fired grid when you do. Jag HJS, Toyota Trueno and Jeep Patriot.
The AE86 is not overrated, it's overvalued. People recognise it only as the car from the anime, but don't even know what made it so good and nobody talks about those positives. It's just an overpriced shitbox. And coming from someone who wants to own one over any other car.

In Brazil I've never heard about KIA Forte, but people here loves Corolla
Brera looks great, much better than many other Alfa models.
Yessir , tis indeed!!
8:20 I think u r the only other person that realizes that Teslas r overrated. I thought I was the only 1 (also, the supercharger network is huge and expansive, although that adds 2 the problem, considering that, if the future is electric, and the supercharger network is growing at an extremely fast rate, then it will b the only charger 2 chose from if u don’t want 2 deal with range anxiety, and it’s proprietary, so u can’t use other cars with it, and currently there isn’t a licensing system where Tesla licenses the supercharger technology 2 other manufacturers 2 implement in their cars. I think that Elon actually cares that Tesla is the only choice 4 a car in the future. I may sound stupid, but his moves seem very monopolistic, even 4 a company that isn’t a monopoly. That’s the leverage Tesla has. They’re just a startup, so they can do what ever they want, and so far, their strategy is working wonders 4 them, and that’s unfortunate)
Nah dude rimac and lusid gonna smoke that tesla .
@@bigsmoke5814 I just want to make it known: that comment is 2 years old by now. Some of it is outdated, and that was before we witnessed the beginning of the downfall of Tesla that we're witnessing right now
