The only ones who had a problem were Lexie and Lou. Apart from that, Joan and Terri had no worries. Sadly, you can definitely tell Joan found it hard to live with another woman, as well as not wanting to be honest and open at work as she did care about the above. I wouldn't be scared as I am gay and proud and I would challenge workers that behave weird about it. I think that makes me stronger mentally and emotionally than Joan then. Never thought I would hear myself say that. LOL
Much as I love Joan’s character, she was by far the most fun one on the whole show, it also doesn’t make sense she’s a sociopath when she’s not in a relationship and then super friendly when she is in one.
The real tragedy is the overt homophobia. Obviously Joan brings it on herself from being an utter sociopath, but I suspect if she was a nice character she’d probably still cop it
