- WELCOME BACK!! So HAPPY to be back making videos again! Thank you all so much for your kind words while I was sick.
To celebrate my return to Critterland, I wanted to do something special. So I busted out EVERY SINGLE ONE of our Sylvanian Families / Calico Critters dolls, tidied up Critterland, and shot a mega-tour. I hope you enjoy!

Love your display of critters!!! I have many but not as many as you. So glad you shared your collection. (When you say you don't know where different rabbits came from...rabbits procreate exponentially so something is probably going on when you turn your lights off. LOL)

I am so sorry to hear that. My heart goes out to you, I can’t imagine how difficult it must be to lose your mother. She sounds like a very nurturing and caring woman. I hope you can find comfort in your friends and family, and I’ve heard that hobbies and daily routines can help while grieving as well. I’m so sorry!
You have such a beautiful collection!! My favorite family so far is the Marshmallow mice family and the deer family!

Although, I am more a Playmobil dollhouse fan, I now also own a small collection of Sylvanian Families Homes and a few families. The best thing about this is that the scale is almost the same and I can use Playmobil items and houses for Sylvanian Families as well as the other way around.

I had these when I was little like a whole collection of these and other cute toys I was so spoiled 😭 I wish I knew how to save them and take care of them I would loveeee to have as much now as I did as a child
Happy New Years by the way! I’m very glad you are feeling better!! I used to have the husband from the red panda family which I found at a thrift store but I ended up donating him and I wish I didn’t.
That’s so awesome you donated them, I’m sure you made a child very happy, but I hope you can get them again. They really are super cute and detailed. I waited a long time to get them because they were always so expensive on Amazon, until one day the price dropped to about $15. I am always looking out for good deals! 👏🥰

I live in Argentina so is very very hard get them and very very expensive 😿
That’s awesome you got the Giraffes though, those are super unique and one of my favorites! I especially love the little babies with their little horns. Keep an eye out on eBay or thrift stores, I am always surprised what I find secondhand, if there’s not much available new in your country. Don’t give up, you will find some at a good price!!

this is my dream-
I'm gonna be that animal nerd. Alpacas and sheep are not related. Alpacas and llamas are in the camel family. Sheep and goats are more closely related and can interbreed. Unless of course, in your village of critters they ARE related. That's a bit different. :) Red pandas are more like raccoons than bears. Regular pandas (or the giant panda) are currently categorized in the bear family. There's been debate in the past but I've always sided with bears myself.

Thank you! This is very helpful, yes the names confuse me, like panda bears may not be bears, and red pandas aren’t even a type of panda lol! And that’s interesting to know about alpacas and sheep. I always thought they were bred from each other, and I would have put goats way further away! The animal kingdom is so amazing and not always what it seems. Thanks again, I appreciate the info!

Thanks Amanda! The “easy buy” Sylvanians are a range of critters with simpler bodies and clothes (they usually come in small families or in simple sets). They are only sold in Latin American countries and I think in London, and some are sold as normal calico critters in the USA (The same critters, but not called ”easy buy”). They are typically a lower price. ❤️

Sure! I got them from various places; online (Amazon, Walmart, eBay), from the store Meijer here in Ohio, and from Japan, the UK, and France. I did a video about where I buy them, it may be helpful! ❤️

Yes- they are Li'l Woodzeez Sidewalk Set. They're retired now, but can be found on eBay. :-)

I bought some Christmas decor from hobby lobby and put it in the calico house
I have question my teen daughter love these but price of these are over welming, she have the cats , that when she was little , she 16 now and she still love them , she got.me.watching your video, so for new beginner what should she do to build upnher collection?
Thanks for watching- great question, I would say the starter home for sure, and then look for good deals on families and furniture from Amazon. From there, you can gauge what she's most enthusiastic about, and get them as gifts here and there. They are VERY expensive, but she's young and has a lot of time to collect, so that's good! And she'll value them all the more if they're a treat. I had very few toys as a child and cherished every one!

Yeah, used critters critters can be rough; I’ve gotten them a few times because they came with buildings or other sets I wanted, or if I am sure they are in good condition, but the good ones are hard to find. IDK what country you’re in but the duck triplets are pretty reasonable on Amazon rn, and the family is about $27 on Amazon Japan. eBay is WAY overpriced. ❤️
