If someone asked me, I definitely would. I have very strong opinions. Men and women are different, but if a man would want to be referred to as a woman then that's fine (but no one should be forced to do that!) Now the issue comes with men and women's bathrooms. I don't think it's appropriate for someone that clearly looks like a man (a beard and tall) to go into a girls bathroom, or a grown woman in a bathroom with boys and urinals and shit. Go to the bathroom of the gender you look like. That's my opinion.

You joke, but it's absolutely a real thing. I live in an area where there's a fair bit of violent crime, and I was having dinner with some neighbors when there was a shooting outside our window. When we called 911 they point-blank REFUSED to tell the police that it was a black person they saw running away, because they thought it would make the police more likely to harass their black friend, who lived in an entirely different area.
They all sound like they're quoting text books rather than individuals with their own opinions, I truly despair.

It's very interesting that you say that "these kids are completely unable to think for themselves" because they are actually breaking the social norm. Throughout history, we never "think for ourselves". We constantly follow societal norms. For instance, women are seen as people that should stay home and do house work while men are out getting jobs. When people closely followed this norm, they didn't think about themselves, only what society had told them to think. Adding to the example, when women starting getting jobs by themselves, that was seen as a "catastrophe" and the "destruction of our culture". What this video is manifesting (of course, with a lot of bias), is the change of social norm, just like women beginning to get jobs. It happens all the time and it happens as a progression to a more equal and open society and I don't think that's a bad thing.

The fact they struggle to answer simple questions like 'is there a difference between men and women?' that even a small child could answer is frightening. Keep in mind these are college students.
The funny fact is that science even proves that the difference is not just physical, but also what men and women prefer, f.e. profession or interests. And you wouldn't even need science for that, any person with half a brain cell and enough life experience could tell that.

This actually isn't a good argument against the gender studies. While I agree that gender studies should not be a minor let alone major in college, it is not because seemingly simple questions can't be answered easily. For example, I am a mathematics major, and alot of my studies is going back to basics and formally redefining all of mathematics. In my modern geometry class, we are studying questions like "what is straight?" And "what are angles?" These questions are seemingly simple, but not so straightforward to answer

I'm an older Millennial. When I was in college (ca. 2010), it was completely uncontroversial to say there are only two genders and nobody would've considered allowing dress-wearing men into women's bathrooms. I'm amazed at how quickly the Overton Window has shifted.
I bet when you were in primary school, the teachers told you that you didn't need to conform to a particular gender stereotype (i.e. you could be a boy who likes horses and cooking, you could be a girl who likes fast cars and metalwork), and that it was perfectly normal to experience anxiety about your changing body during puberty and not to sweat it.
Progressive ideology is now actually more regressive than it was in the 1990s. It's unbelievable.
