as an australian we have experienced similar advertising but at the end of the day ts far more affordable for working class people to travel to more exotic locations thousands of miles away then it is to take a local holiday. it sucks but its the reality of living in super expensive countrys

Seriously agree that the Tutukaka coast is awesome. Loved it since visiting as a kid. I'm impressed that you guys from Durban with your amazing climate and ocean are impressed with it, I mean u guys had paradise over there! That means so much to us kiwis who instinctively under-appreciate our coast, yet rave about coastlines overseas...
Tutukaka Coast is sooo beautiful 😍 it’s very different to Durban, which has a long coastline. We really love all the bays and hidden spots 😊
@@BeingBedingfield I reckon! I recall rowing a dingy up there over the top of a Manta Ray. Nobody believed me, but the water was so clear, and I could see it's "wings" both sides of my dinghy - haha

I always wonder why no one SUPS on lamercy lagoon? My wife and I have been wanting to SUP for years.
We did a few lessons at ushaka and were super keen to get our own ones after that but then we moved from dbn north to westbrook.
Wow was this really filmed today 27th JAN 2023? I heard the weather warnings for up north, and immediately thought about my family and mates up there, and you guys too....trust me it should settle down in Feb/March/April...

@@BeingBedingfield Typically down here on the east coast of the south island the spring can be hotter than the actual summer, BUT this one is turning into a "cracker" for us. Up there things tend to settle down after xmas/new year, and autumns are incredible! I have no doubt the locals have told you that :-)
