@@mackvelly8899THANK YOU! Everyone looks at me crazy when I say Kiss' albums are inconsistent as fuck. 6-8 good songs out of 15-18 tracks. That ratio doesn't make a classic.

@@mackvelly8899 That’s subjective. It’s regional like I said. Most New Yorkers wouldn’t appreciate a trick album the same way and vice versa. But the comparison is that outside their respective states, they pretty much hold the same cache to the masses relevance wise.

I was lucky enough to be around during the whole southern rap era in the early 2000’s in my college years. I have been waiting for this moment. Trick Daddy is a good rapper during his peak. People don’t even talk about him at all or they never put him in their top 50 greatest rapper list. He has released 8 studio albums since 2009. I probably only listened to those first 7 albums and some of the songs from his last album. It’s hard to pick a favorite album from him because I like all of them. He has worked with Lil Jon, Too $hort, Scarface, Birdman, Lil Wayne, Trina, T.I., Betty Wright, Twista, Mystikal, Ying Yang Twins, Pitbull and many others. Because Miami Was Original Known For Booty (Sexual) Content Music Which Nobody Respected. Also Their Were No Real Hip-Hop Rap Scene In His City Before Him. where he Could've Carried The Torch Of Folks Before Him In Miami.Basically Miami Didn't Have a True Foundation Of Rap/Hip-Hop In His City Before He Came On The Scene . This Is What Might Got Something To Do With It If Miami Would've Had a Real True Hip-Hop Scene Rap Based,And Real Content Outside of What Luke Was Doing Rappers Like Trick Would Be 10× Higher In Recognition And Amongst Other Southern Legendary Artists It Might Be Different For Him .a More Prominent Miami Rap Scene Before Him And Outside Of Luke Would've Made Him Push His Ceiling.

If anything, Trick Daddy did an admirable job of bridging the gap between Booty Shake and and the more harder-edged street rap.

@shauncameron8390 Had Miami Had Like 5-6 Or 4-5 Other Artists Like That Before Him ,It Would've Laid a True Foundation For Trick To Follow And Reach Higher Ceiling. Miami Didn't Jump Off That Sexual Content Fast Enough With Luke Imo Had Dade County Had Other Content Figures Outside What Luke Pushed Miami Alone Would Be a Prominent Respected Powerhouse In Hip-Hop .

I think people were turned off by the eat a booty thing and it wasn’t great for his career.
Personally that part is not relevant to me, the music is dope and that legacy is what matters over time.

You misunderstood what he said. He said BIG only got to enjoy the success of one album. The second one dropped very shortly after his death. So BIG never got to see or enjoy the success it became.
