I like watching these old interviews. Reminds me of the days when it was just an obscure series that I could enjoy without guilt. Now everyone's bent on hating it...for what? So they can feel cool? It's not because they honestly think it's written badly. There are books out there written far worse than Stephenie Meyer's and no one cares.
Stephenie is just great:))) I love how she talk... so fast but nice...you just want to hear her;))) I've got that feeling that she could talk and talk and talk... and enjoy it as much as the listeners;P I adore her for writing the whole Twilight saga and for being the person she is:))))))))))))))
@isarya6249 yes!exactly! It's like some people find pleasure hating what a lot loves!Being bitter will only make their lives miserable.why don't they just make something productive out of their lives?whereas admiring something like a literary masterpiece is a lighter and happier thing. If you are studying a lot or working or just tired and stressed it's always a breath of fresh air to indulge a make-believe reality like this and chill for a while.why do people want to stress themselves w/ hatred?
Twilight doesn't have a lot of info being thrown at you, but it has a hell of a lot of background story, not as much as Harry Potter but it's still acceptable for a romance novel.
thank you! I get into many a fight with people who insist that she's a good writer. She has the writing style of an amateur, of a young teenager. I don't get the hype,
Volturi=Catholics. Come on people, you can't be oblivious to the facts. Edward loves her because she is appetizing, Jacob loves Bella for her uterus and womb, Alice is a self prophecy fulfiller. I love the story behind Edward and Bella, but I wish Stephanie Meyer actually wrote the story instead of tagging along and dragging it down. It's a beautiful story. But Stephanie Meyer can't write. After all the editing and what not, its horribly written.
