To get the fake one working, you only hook up 12v, gnd and the green wire to the timing wire. you dont do anything with the other wire, and cutting the grey, white or black(?) wires on the limiter wont do anything. Also it only revs up to 3500rpm but does pop cool flames.
Edit : also the knobs dont do anything
Im wiring a fake one onto a toyota tercel just for fun. This sounds about right. Green wire to a tac signal ?
@@ccombdon if you take off the casing for the fake bee*r, the inputs/outputs should be labeled on the board.

My fake one works on all settings on my 1fz, wired in the way the Japanese forums said for a 1jz and it works really well on both settings, just working out the handbrake bit to have a trigger button lol

Yeah theres fake ones, the older fake ones said "ben*r on them 😂 they only make one model of them though (possibly the type b) so they arent compatible with the other cars that need the rf or rh types

Are the knobs supposed to turn infinitely or are they supposed to stop at 0? I just got one from eBay and it looks more or less like the real one you showed except the insulation on the wires is shiny and the writing under the knobs isn't "tall." The circuit board looks the same. It also came with the Bee*R sticker but it didn't come with an original box or instructions. I'm more worried about the knobs because wire insulation could be changed and who really cares about a font, right? Nice Supra btw. I'm from NY also and I have a '91 Turbo that I'm working on.
Thanks Man. I'm pretty sure that the knobs keep spinning past zero. As long as the circuit board looks the same, I don't think you will have any issues. the only real way to know if it works is to install it.

Hey I got a Type B and instal the Honda civic working but not perfect led is work , when i close the gaspedal that rpm when i set the box its litle limitering but when i push ower its nothing...
When i opened the box lucks like fake limiter!

+Barnabas Balogh you need the BEE*R for Honda. I dont believe the type b works on Honda.
You need the type H for Honda/Acura

+Tristan Ciraulo I got mine second hand. The previous owner gait it from RHDjapan I believe. Look up the bee r revlimiter group on the Facebook page. There is a ton of info as to where to get them.
I bought a bee-r but I'm afraid I'm gonna blow my car up. Can I turn it on and off at will? And just drive like the stock car(minus the other mods)
if you put gain to 0, it should turn of the bee r
If you put it to a 12 v switch you can turn it on and off

They still sell them at the shop. Not discontinued. Was there first hand. Still for sale and new.

I was thinkin about doin it on my 7mge but rods need replaced first. Thats a 88 to 87 supra right? Why is your front emblem newer then mine and. Mines a 89 supr that has the badge sayin toyota supra on it. But later on a 1jzgte will be put in but got to fix the rods in the 7mge first.
