Enjoyed your video I have the same pack with 7500 series just got. Never tried the iodine pills always was cautious for some reason and lugged a pump around or boiled it. Besides never minded diarrhea for 6 months out of the year lol

Dan, can you do a First Aid Kit dump? Sounds like you have built your own based on good recommendations.

A in depth FAK is key, bullets, arrows, and tooth/claw are flesh openers; and having a few essential items can be a life saver, prior to first responders; folks spend all that time and money in high end gear, but not in they’re FAK, save a life..pack it in! Nice review!

That vapor pack is so light. You can’t be loosing much weight. Looks like a good way to lose some stuff

Nice breakdown of what you like to do with the modular system that the F1 Mainframe does afford.
I actually have thought hard about getting a tall one in Mountain 🏔 to go with my F7 Kite 🪁 as a day pack hauler. Then use either the Batwings or satchel to carry my Tethrd tree 🌳 saddle platform and my climbing sticks. Hopefully 🙏 then carry out a whitetail deer 🦌 from some deep and steep places in West Virginia, PA and SE Ohio. Then get a Vapor 5000 for longer trips away from my vehicle 🚗

    Very interesting setup.
(I personally would just take the whole vapor, you’re already minimal as it is)

Vacuum seal your game bags. Cut 2/3 of the volume of them and stays waterproof

You said you’ve gotten away from pumps and all that. Have you looked at the Katadyn water systems? They’re pretty small and you can purify two camelbacks or 6L of water in like a minute plus filling up a Nalgene bottle or whatever else. They’re crazy handy and don’t taste like iodine.

can we get a breakdown of whats sin that first aid kit in a seperate video plz.....curious to know what a full kit should look like. I put together what I think is a pretty good one and kept it to around 13 oz. Its a tough balancing act for something you hope to never HAVE to use. But....I already had to use mine once while sawing wood in the backcountry I got into my thumb.

Sunflower seeds are high in omega 6, not 3. This is generally the case for all fat sources coming from plants.

Its one of the reasons why fat sources from plant foods are a terrible idea.

I'm not a camelback guy, I prefer disposable bottles. Just me though.
