These words must have felt painfully ironic to her for what she was going through at that time. Taeyeon’s singing has such a deep impact on me, ever since I started listening to her ever since her debut. She has changed with her singing so much and grown as a singer. It might just be me but Taeyeon’s voice is so different from everyone else’s, I don’t feel the same way when I listen to other singers in the Korean industry (at least as much). I’m not saying other singer’s are horrible singers though haha. Her emotions make up so much of her performances and that’s why I like her much compared to everyone else. I think it's a matter of taste, for me Taeyeon is a better singer than Ailee, Ailee doesn't make me feel anything when she sings but Taeyeon reaches to the soul, and Taeyeon is better for me composer than Iu, the songs she has written are very deep and convey so much 😍

My favorite song of her is Fine and I remember in a very depressed part of my life I listened to it and I bawled my eyes out. Just crying. After that I felt better. When you know the meaning of the song and it relates to you, it hits differently. Thats why I love Taeyeon her songs and the way she sings it is just deep and lovely.
i also can not express how much gravity breaks my heart. it’s such a bittersweet song. it’s like the end of a good relationship where nothing went wrong you both just fell out of love with each other. like the memories of your childhood friend group that now lives far away from you and has their own lives. good memories that you miss, people that you love but can’t be with. the feeling of hanging up a long phone call with your mom a couple years after you moved out. it’s like a nostalgic happiness that burns the edges of your heart just a little.. definitely one of my top 3 taeyeon songs!

Taeyeon’s singing has such a deep impact on me, ever since I started listening to her ever since her debut. She has changed with her singing so much and grown as a singer. It might just be me but Taeyeon’s voice is so different from everyone else’s, I don’t feel the same way when I listen to other singers in the Korean industry (at least as much). I’m not saying other singer’s are horrible singers though haha. Her emotions make up so much of her performances and that’s why I like her much compared to everyone else. Forget range, it doesn’t matter to me, what matters is emotions and tone. I love Taeyeon so much omg 😭😭😭
