What I love to hear Taeyeon singing, she doesn't need to hit the annoying high note. Her high note is clean and smooth. I don't know why some of the idols like to compete with each other who better to hit the high note which for me that's not unnecessary. It's annoying. It's better to hit the high note like Taeyeon. Personally i really like Tiffany. but i gotta say Taeyeon's voice is unbeatable. she has that soft and sweet angelic voice whenever she sings. I know there are some people comparing her with Ailee and Hyorin. I think Ailee and Hyorin have very strong and loud vocal and i feel like they are shouting(sometimes). For Taeyeon, I always get goosebumps listening to her parts and adlib in "Complete" "Forever" "Sunflower" "Baby Maybe" and some SNSD ballad songs. Hats off to the best female singer Kim Taeyeon
Kia Kiara Well that's subjective. Objectively speaking Taeyeon shouldn't even be compared to Ailee or Hyorin in the first place because there is a massive difference in levels. You are free to see Taeyeon as the best female singer in Korea but honestly speaking she isn't the best female singer.

Even JYP said he loves TaeYeon's voice since she has not always to scream in a song to put emotions. She is not screaming "Aaaaaaah" "Oooooh", or some poweeful High Notes, like Ailee or Hyorin.

brr overrated is the condition when a person who actually cannot sing properly but many people still think it's really the best (just because that person is popular)... But in this case Taeyeon HAS ability to sing with proper technique and that's not OVERRATED... If you still think tae is overrated than I think JK, Jimin and V are more than overrated :)

although taeyeon may not have the best/largest vocal range, or have the best techniques in the world, she is one of the few idols which rlly speak to me with herself. anyone can sing a song but not everyone can convey a story or emotions through their singing. I think one reason why Taeyeon is able to do so is because she has been through a lot. she takes those emotions and uses them well. haters honestly don't see this angel or else they are just jealous. I understand maybe to others she may not be the best but the unnecessary hate is just ugh. I wish people ould just appreciate her beautiful vocals and all she has to give. her singing is just like shes speaking to u and telling a story and that's what tugs at people's heartstrings. that is what makes her successful and why many other artists or idols have praised her vocals despite her not being the artist with the best vocal range. Let me say this. Taeyeon is a professional singer. She can sing better than some American pop stars. And if people say she can't sing, shes horrible, shes off key. When i say hardly makes any she can make 1-2 errors in a song or none at all. And i know about the song on stage sounds distant in the studio blah blah blah. Ailee for example. Shes a korean christina Aguilera. (Hope i spelled that right) . Shes a singer singer singer. However, no one is perfect. And she makes mistakes too. But do you hardly see any..... nah. They try their best to not make mistakes and that's on them. Mistake or not, they hardly make any, and prove all haters that they can sing her ass off.

Her voice is another level, i listen to her almost everyday while going to work and working the whole day. Her voice never annoyed me even if she's belting high notes. Unlike other female solos she really is the one for my ears.

Beside the emotions make her different from other singers, there is one more thing that not too much people relize: She suit to every songs and kind of music. From korean songs to english, japanese, chinese. Pop and ballad music, jazz, especially trot music. From 2011, maybe she's not the no1 female idol singer anymore cause there are so many ho-bae with super talented vocal like Eunji, Hyorin, Ailee, Luna,... But she never be absent from every ranking abt vocal. Because her voice so unique! I love her
