David is such a devoted brother in Christ. I briefly met and spoke with him once. Great man! All the Glory be to Christ crucified and raised from the dead.
Interesting that, while here in America, he is forced to open with, "I only have a few minutes" and later forces himself to rush for times sake; while in remote areas of the world, he teaches for twelve hour days, for days on end, and they beg for more. O LORD forgive us for what we have done with Your Word.

Platt needs to step down from the ministry until he repents of his misuse of authority and underhanded leadership practices. He keeps speaking at conferences because he has preaching gifts. That's how pastors get away with sin, people overlook it because they can preach. A real shame.

@@kassimees I saw one snippet posted, from a sermon where he was speaking a very "woke" message. That is the only time I have ever heard him speak that way. The sermons I've heard from him have always been very Biblical and spiritually challenging. I hope you are praying for him, because he has been one of the straightest-talking preachers who has been used of God, and it would be a great pity if he was sidelined by the enemy.

The “only way” is through Jesus Christ. I am sorry but no Bible, Church or man will do. I don’t care if you read the ESV, Holman, NKJ, Old King James....a Bible will “NEVER” save you. Christ did that on the Cross for us.

Unfortunately a common expression "let's browse quickly through the Word of God"! 10 min of Bread of Life and 50 min 'me talk'!
