I've been struggling with a particular sin, sermons like this help me realize I'm not a victim of an addiction, I'm a sinner that's made bad choices. Thank God for his grace and forgiveness. I've repented, I'm no longer trying to skirt around the sin and justify anything. I'm running/fleeing from the sin thanks to God and his bold words preached through Pastor David. Praying for continual growth for being able to glorify God better.

Yes, addiction is no disease. I was addicted for 20 years. Strung out on crack cocaine, I was brought back from that. Everything was purposed up to this point. We should never regret a thing in our lives. We must learn from our poor choices and not repeat them. We must use our experience, strength, and hope to help others. Revival is coming and it will completely change our world. We believe it is possible and not doubt. Mountains can be thrown in the see. Read about how Jesus and the Samaritan woman debated worshipping on a mountain. Jesus took that mountain and threw it in the see. All things are possible for those who believe without doubting.

My younger brother was a die hard atheist. He found himself in a tough situation years ago where he was getting separated and needed a place to stay. So he crashed on my couch for a while. He hated my rules and how I didn’t allowed his kind of music or tv shows in my house. He thought I was crazy. He is deaf mute. But the spirit is not. Although he can read lips and feel vibrations I began to noticed over time that he was listening to my worship songs with his headphones on. He obviously couldn’t hear the words but he would feel the vibrations and I’m sure the spirit heard and understood every word. About a month later he approached me and asked me about “ this Jesus.” I was surprised because I tried for years to tell him about “this Jesus.” So We sat down and I don’t know how three hours later my hands were not exhausted, we communicate in sign language. He accepted Jesus into his heart that evening. Three days later he knocked on my door crying sobbing tears flowing. He confessed every, almost every sin to me, I stopped him when I felt I didn’t need to know some of them or details. He said he finally understood me. And that he never knew a love like that. This was 20 years ago. Today he testifies to the deaf mute and spreads the Love of Jesus. Jesus is the greatest and The Holy Spirit will expose your true self to God. You can’t hide from The Almighty. There’s no excuse. Deaf, mute, blind whatever. Physically we lack, But Spiritually we have all. There’s power in the name of Jesus!!❤️ 👑

The book of Jeremiah is instructive as to what things will be like in the end times because the conditions in Israel at the time parallel the conditions, particularly in the Christian West, in the latter days. That is, in my opinion, the saddest verse in the Bible.

There is a difference between people who call themselves Christians and go to church, and do good deeds, and all, and people who call themselves Christians and received the Holy Spirit from God through Jesus Christ. Christians who received the Holy Spirit, live their lives for God 24/7 and refuse to accept wrongs as right, whether they are involved in a Church/religion or not, they are not deceived by False prophets (ministers) in many churches today using love in a deceptive way to get Christians to accept wrongs as right and getting into the New Age religion. It is why Jesus tells these so called Christians... he never knew them ...when he returns and takes only those who received the Holy Spirit. God knows everyone's heart and God knows when a person becomes ready to follow or not. God can and will send the Holy Spirit into anyone's life who repents and is ready to follow. It is personal and all it takes is repenting and seriously being ready to follow, and it can be a very life changing experience. Even though we are all sinners in this life. People who receive the Holy Spirit can give up sinful things the Bible speaks against, and they do not want sinful things in their lives, and these are the people Christ takes up because he knows them and they know Christ through their soul and spirit. I pray people repent and become ready to follow because time is running out.

This is real and it's critical that we don't just glance over this Jesus Christ without having fully investigated the matter with a sincere heart, looking for the honest truth. Clement Arhin I agree we should always glorify God and long for his return but nonetheless I also take prophecy pretty seriously, I believe the prophecy exists for the reason that God wants us to pay attention to the world around us and get up and bring people to his glory. God’s commandments are not guidelines, they are to be obeyed in Godly fear. God is Love and the fulfillment of the law is love. Love is keeping His commandments (John). It is beyond me how he can believe that God chose some people to be saved and most people to be lost before the foundation of the world and then get up and try to convince people to be saved. Therefore, I’m not sure the right question for the unbeliever is: what will you do with Jesus? I think I understand the point is to get people to think about the gospel, but Jesus is so sovereign and so highly exalted by the Father that I’m uneasy about asking people what they’re going to do with Him. Guys... Platt is a Calvinist. An important part of his soteriology is that from before the foundations of the earth God already decided and chose who would be the “Elect” and who would be elected for hell. So he’s earning a bunch of people who he believes to be doomed from the womb. His warning is rather pointless because Calvinists believe that regeneration precedes faith anyway. How do I know what the truth is? Jesus says that God's word is truth in John 17:17. But every "church" uses God's word and they all tell me it means something different.

God doesn't just send people to hell. He never wants that for any of His children. The Bible is just explaining what will happen as the natural consequence of a person not choosing God -it's not a threat. Hell is the consequence of being totally separated from God. It is a choice that everyone makes, to either be with God or not. Even those who haven't chosen Him to this point are now living in His blessing and grace because His presence is in the earth. Yet, when the time comes, He will take those who have chosen Him and the full separation will come for those who haven't chosen Him... Which will be hell. I hope that helps better understand. God is always good and loving. When it doesn't seem that way, it means that there are things we don't know or don't understand.
God does send people to hell. Yes, God is love, God gives grace and mercy but also God is just and righteous. And if God let people go free for their sins then God would not be just nor righteous. It’s a penalty for sin and death is it, it has to be paid either by your owe blood or the blood of Jesus Christ which cleanse one of all unrighteousness and makes one holy and acceptable to God.

Is Social Justice for today as Platt teaches? Not by using Critical Race Theory / class warfare / power struggles as he teaches. MCDOWELL: Are some of today’s social justice movements coming from “a framework that is not compatible with the Bible” ? WILLIAMS: Good question. There are a bunch of ideologies inspiring much of what is called “social justice” today-Neo-Marxism, Critical Race Theory, Postmodern Deconstructionism, Queer Critical Theory, and Gender Theory, to name a few. Let me offer three ways to discern between these ideological versions of justice and biblical justice: 1. If a view of justice blames all evil on external systems of oppression while ignoring Solomon’s pride-deflating insight that our own hearts are full of evil and moral insanity (Ecclesiastes 9:3) then it is not biblical justice. A biblical worldview sees evil not only in “systems,” where we ought to seek justice, but also within the twisted hearts of those who make those systems unjust. Because evil resides in every human heart, all the external activism in the world won’t bring about any lasting justice if we downplay our need for the regenerating, love-infusing work of God through the Gospel. 2. If a view of justice deconstructs relationships in terms of “power-differentials” and argues that all such hierarchies are evil and must be abolished in the name of “equality” then it is not biblical justice. A biblical worldview totally opposes the sinful abuse of power, but sees many hierarchies, like the parent-child, rabbi-disciple, elders-congregation, teacher-student relationships, as part of God’s good design for human flourishing. 3. If a view of justice interprets all truth, reason, and logic as mere constructs of the oppressive class, if it encourages us to dismiss someone’s viewpoint on the basis of their skin tone or gender, then it is not biblical justice. The Greatest Commandment calls people from every ethnicity and gender to love God with our whole minds, which includes the truth-seeking, reasonable, and logical parts of our God-given minds. A mind that loves the Father assesses ideas based on their biblical fidelity, truth-value, and evidence, not the group identity of those articulating it. Therefore, there are 2 types of Social Justice. One is man-centered on institutions and the other is centered on God and His power. What, then, is the Christian view of social justice? The Bible teaches that God is a God of justice. In fact, “all his ways are justice” (Deuteronomy 32:4). Furthermore, the Bible supports the notion of social justice in which concern and care are shown to the plight of the poor and afflicted (Deuteronomy 10:18; 24:17; 27:19). The Bible often refers to the fatherless, the widow and the sojourner - that is, people who were not able to fend for themselves or had no support system. The nation of Israel was commanded by God to care for society’s less fortunate, and their eventual failure to do so was partly the reason for their judgment and expulsion from the land. In Jesus’ Olivet Discourse, He mentions caring for the “least of these” (Matthew 25:40), and in James’ epistle he expounds on the nature of “true religion” (James 1:27). So, if by “social justice” we mean that society has a moral obligation to care for those less fortunate, then that is correct. God knows that, due to the fall, there will be widows, fatherless and sojourners in society, and He made provisions in the old and new covenants to care for these outcasts of society. The model of such behavior is Jesus Himself, who reflected God’s sense of justice by bringing the gospel message to even the outcasts of society. However, the Christian notion of social justice is different from the contemporary, secular notion of social justice. The biblical exhortations to care for the poor are more individual than societal. In other words, each Christian is encouraged to do what he can to help the “least of these.” The basis for such biblical commands is found in the second of the greatest commandments-love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:39). Today’s politicized notion of social justice replaces the individual with the government, which, through taxation and other means, redistributes wealth. This policy doesn’t encourage giving out of love, but resentment from those who see their hard-earned wealth being taken away. Another difference is that the Christian worldview of social justice doesn’t assume the wealthy are the beneficiaries of ill-gotten gain. Basically, there is a tension between a God-centered approach to social justice and a man-centered approach to social justice. The man-centered approach sees the government in the role of savior, bringing in a utopia through government policies. The God-centered approach sees Christ as Savior, bringing heaven to earth when He returns. David Platt teaches a man-centered fight for Social Justice which is built on hate, not love.

And obey some laws from his book, that you get to cherry pick, ignoring the ones you deem too crazy like not eating shrimp, or murdering your new wife on her father's door step when you learn she wasn't a virgin. Think about it logically. Study the scriptures. How could Jesus come back at a day and hour no one knows? How could the Son not know? FYI, Jesus is not sitting down at the right hand of God and will not come back in on a cloud. Those verses are figurative. Jesus is the right hand hand of the Father, Jesus is the Word. How are words formed? By writing them down and speaking them. When Jesus returns, he won’t be able to speak to everyone in person, he will have to write, just like he wrote the entire Bible. Jesus of Nazareth is who God chose to manifest himself into. He manifested himself into all of the authors of the Bible because he revealed himself to them and they then completely surrendered to him. Moses - Joshua Elijah - Elijah Jesus - ? Jesus is the greater Moses. Who will be the greater Joshua. Joshua was the only man at the time who could see the promise land. He had to go on a mission and when it was completed, he and his men could enjoy their Heaven. The reason Jesus will come like a thief is he will come in a way no one expects. He will again be born of a woman. Think about his conversation with Nicodemus. How can a man be reborn when he is old? Can he enter his mother’s womb a second time? Yes, Jesus can and did. Think about it. Just as in the days of Noah. Noah preached, no one listened. Also in the days of Lot. Lot lost his wife. This is the significance of Lot. When Jesus returns he will return as sinful as they come because he will carry the world’s sin. He will overcome everything so people can be confident they can do the same. Jesus will be married and his wife will represent Lot’s wife and Judas. His wife will divorce him on October 22nd. Jesus will not be named Jesus, but his name will be related. Remember, God is Just in how he deals with us. Jesus will not come to judge the world,but to save it and to unite everything. Three Jewish Rabbis say that their Messiah will be revealed this year. I've been struggling with a particular sin, sermons like this help me realize I'm not a victim of an addiction, I'm a sinner that's made bad choices. Thank God for his grace and forgiveness. I've repented, I'm no longer trying to skirt around the sin and justify anything. I'm running/fleeing from the sin thanks to God and his bold words preached through Pastor David. Praying for continual growth for being able to glorify God better.

Yes, addiction is no disease. I was addicted for 20 years. Strung out on crack cocaine, I was brought back from that. Everything was purposed up to this point. We should never regret a thing in our lives. We must learn from our poor choices and not repeat them. We must use our experience, strength, and hope to help others. Revival is coming and it will completely change our world. We believe it is possible and not doubt. Mountains can be thrown in the see. Read about how Jesus and the Samaritan woman debated worshipping on a mountain. Jesus took that mountain and threw it in the see. All things are possible for those who believe without doubting.

My younger brother was a die hard atheist. He found himself in a tough situation years ago where he was getting separated and needed a place to stay. So he crashed on my couch for a while. He hated my rules and how I didn’t allowed his kind of music or tv shows in my house. He thought I was crazy. He is deaf mute. But the spirit is not. Although he can read lips and feel vibrations I began to noticed over time that he was listening to my worship songs with his headphones on. He obviously couldn’t hear the words but he would feel the vibrations and I’m sure the spirit heard and understood every word. About a month later he approached me and asked me about “ this Jesus.” I was surprised because I tried for years to tell him about “this Jesus.” So We sat down and I don’t know how three hours later my hands were not exhausted, we communicate in sign language. He accepted Jesus into his heart that evening. Three days later he knocked on my door crying sobbing tears flowing. He confessed every, almost every sin to me, I stopped him when I felt I didn’t need to know some of them or details. He said he finally understood me. And that he never knew a love like that. This was 20 years ago. Today he testifies to the deaf mute and spreads the Love of Jesus. Jesus is the greatest and The Holy Spirit will expose your true self to God. You can’t hide from The Almighty. There’s no excuse. Deaf, mute, blind whatever. Physically we lack, But Spiritually we have all. There’s power in the name of Jesus!!❤️ 👑

Thabiti Anyabwile, a black Southern Baptist pastor, tweeted during the convention in 2017 that “any ‘church’ that cannot denounce white supremacy without hesitancy and equivocation is a dead, Jesus denying assembly. No 2 ways about it”.
The new resolution at the convention concluded racism and white supremacy endure (in the SBC) in various white supremacist movements, sometimes known as ‘white nationalism’ or ‘alt-right.'” Southern Baptists “decry every form of racism, including alt-right white supremacy as antithetical to the Gospel of Jesus Christ” and “denounce and repudiate white supremacy and every form of racial and ethnic hatred as of the devil,” the proposed new resolution states.
The Southern Baptist Convention, based in Nashville, has 15.2 million members and is the largest Protestant group in the country. Leaders have repeatedly condemned racism in formal resolutions from past meetings and built new relationships with black Baptists.

2. Today, the Southern Baptists through their president Greear, & David Platt have joined hands with Black Lives Matter & conclude as a denomination that systemic racism as accused by the BLM movement is valid and permeates society.
Why was there no conclusion of systemic racism by the SBC as recently as 2017 during debates, but now we are to conclude there has been systemic-racism through out all US history in all institutions because of the BLM? How? Why?
Because the anti-god /Marxist Movement of Black Lives Matter movement made the claim of systemic racism, all 15 million Southern Baptists agreed to these bogus systemic claims and support the protests for Victimhood and destructing institutions. Again, Why? The SBC history is very revealing, but to use the SBC history as applying to all Christian Church history is pure manipulation and lies by the SBC. And worst than to demand every Christian admit a projected shame of racism & repent at the altar of Humanistic Marxism, they want to deny the facts and foolishly give their assent of a systemic racism in the US as a sign of repentance for their own despicable racism as found in the SBC denominational history.
Reasons for this change by the SBC:
The vast majority of Southern Baptists are white (85%), with few black members (6%) and even fewer Latinos (3%), according to the 2014 Religious Landscape Study. Although the denomination is more racially and ethnically diverse than the largest mainline Methodist or Lutheran churches (both are more than 90% white), it is less diverse than the rest of the evangelical Protestant tradition (73% white, 6% black, 13% Latino) and U.S. Protestants overall (69% white, 18% black, 8% Latino).
This 85% number is why the Southern Baptists condemn themselves for not being more ethnically diverse. This would indicate as a denomination, they appear to be guilty of racism, but this is not an albatross for all of society or all US Christians to wear. Clearly, the SBC have failed to be inclusive, but that does not give David Platt the right or SBC the right to conclude US institutions are systemically racist, or that all whites are white-supremacy racists.

Southern Baptist history & recent debate in 2017 over racism
For 3 years the Southern Baptists have been pushing Victimhood & Cultural Marxism race guilt since its 2017 annual convention.
Thabiti Anyabwile, a black Southern Baptist pastor, tweeted during the convention in 2017 that “any ‘church’ that cannot denounce white supremacy without hesitancy and equivocation is a dead, Jesus denying assembly. No 2 ways about it”.
The new resolution at the convention concluded racism and white supremacy endure (in the SBC) in various white supremacist movements, sometimes known as ‘white nationalism’ or ‘alt-right.'” Southern Baptists “decry every form of racism, including alt-right white supremacy as antithetical to the Gospel of Jesus Christ” and “denounce and repudiate white supremacy and every form of racial and ethnic hatred as of the devil,” the proposed new resolution states.
The Southern Baptist Convention, based in Nashville, has 15.2 million members and is the largest Protestant group in the country. Leaders have repeatedly condemned racism in formal resolutions from past meetings and built new relationships with black Baptists.

Why was there no conclusion of systemic racism by the SBC as recently as 2017 during debates, but now we are to conclude there has been systemic-racism through out all US history in all institutions because of the BLM? How? Why?
Because the anti-god /Marxist Movement of Black Lives Matter movement made the claim of systemic racism, all 15 million Southern Baptists agreed to these bogus systemic claims and support the protests for Victimhood and destructing institutions. Again, Why? The SBC history is very revealing, but to use the SBC history as applying to all Christian Church history is pure manipulation and lies by the SBC. And worst than to demand every Christian admit a projected shame of racism & repent at the altar of Humanistic Marxism, they want to deny the facts and foolishly give their assent of a systemic racism in the US as a sign of repentance for their own despicable racism as found in the SBC denominational history.

The vast majority of Southern Baptists are white (85%), with few black members (6%) and even fewer Latinos (3%), according to the 2014 Religious Landscape Study. Although the denomination is more racially and ethnically diverse than the largest mainline Methodist or Lutheran churches (both are more than 90% white), it is less diverse than the rest of the evangelical Protestant tradition (73% white, 6% black, 13% Latino) and U.S. Protestants overall (69% white, 18% black, 8% Latino).
This 85% number is why the Southern Baptists condemn themselves for not being more ethnically diverse. This would indicate as a denomination, they appear to be guilty of racism, but this is not an albatross for all of society or all US Christians to wear. Clearly, the SBC have failed to be inclusive, but that does not give David Platt the right or SBC the right to conclude US institutions are systemically racist, or that all whites are white-supremacy racists.

Theres a reason David Platt got to pray over the President. God is using him in ways far beyond what we know. God sees his faithfulness and boldness.
Trump came to give a witness of his faith. God chose Trump and Platt did little to support the president and even apologized to his church for praying for him. That is his way of refusing to be used by God. Plus, God can’t use a false teacher of Critical Race Theory. The book of Jeremiah is instructive as to what things will be like in the end times because the conditions in Israel at the time parallel the conditions, particularly in the Christian West, in the latter days.

There is a difference between people who call themselves Christians and go to church, and do good deeds, and all, and people who call themselves Christians and received the Holy Spirit from God through Jesus Christ. Christians who received the Holy Spirit, live their lives for God 24/7 and refuse to accept wrongs as right, whether they are involved in a Church/religion or not, they are not deceived by False prophets (ministers) in many churches today using love in a deceptive way to get Christians to accept wrongs as right and getting into the New Age religion. People who receive the Holy Spirit can give up sinful things the Bible speaks against, and they do not want sinful things in their lives, and these are the people Christ takes up because he knows them and they know Christ through their soul and spirit. I pray people repent and become ready to follow because time is running out.

This is real and it's critical that we don't just glance over this Jesus Christ without having fully investigated the matter with a sincere heart, looking for the honest truth. We will also know full well how gracious God has been throughout all of our lives and how the sin of the world was the cause of all our suffering, not the God whom we should have turned to and trusted with our very souls. All creation has been witnessing to us in every moment of His existence, power, and glory. His character, justice, love, and grace has been shown vividly in the pages of the biblical text, documented over 1500 years, through 40 different authors, on 3 different continents, in 3 different languages, all telling one unified story and making history known in advance with detailed accuracy.
We are left without excuse and for those who reject the very God who created them, without even a drop of hope.
Jesus came with a simple proclamation: Now is the time to repent, turn from the wickedness of this world to God because the new Kingdom, the Kingdom of God, has arrived! Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no one comes to God the Father except through Him. There is no other way that we may be saved - it's only in and through the name of Jesus Christ. If God did not even spare His Son, so that His justice would be served, how do we figure He will spare those who reject the gift He's given us in His Son, whom He loved and in whom He was well pleased?
The only reason God has not condemned us all already is because of His love toward us. He desires everyone to be saved but He will not do it against our will and therefore, He has given us a time of grace that we may turn to Him through Jesus Christ and live.

No doubt death can come unto any of us 1 second from now, so we must always be ready and be found doing His will. But if you are truly being led of the Spirit, He opens the scripture, and you have no need that man teach you. And in seeking His truth, he gives you discernment to know what is true and what is false, what is sound doctrine, and what is twisted, what is good, and what is evil. You can`t know this if you have bought into the lie that "I can`t help but sin, because I`m just a human!" God told us to resist temptation, resist the devil and he will flee from you! That is true brother. However it doesn’t mean we should not anticipate for the coming of Christ. The early church lived every breath of their lives in hope of the coming of the Lord. They didn’t nailed down every eschatological detail before waiting for the second coming. We should as little children long for the coming of our Lord to judge the world and glorify us into His everlasting glory. Clement Arhin I agree we should always glorify God and long for his return but nonetheless I also take prophecy pretty seriously, I believe the prophecy exists for the reason that God wants us to pay attention to the world around us and get up and bring people to his glory. I also believe that fear can be a good thing, fear can make us put a parachute on before we jump out of a plane or it can make us step back from the edge of a cliff or it can even make us study harder and harder to denounce new worldly teachings and show the evidence of creation. The fundamental movement when the church stepped down from arguing darwins theory of evolution because of a lack of effort in studies and science was a big mistake but now the knowledge is at our finger tips leaving no excuse for Christians to argue such fallacies like evolution or the Big Bang theory .... did you know that 2 of the planets in our solar system spin backwards compared to the others? It’s knowledge like this we should be using to combat the dangerous and godless theory of the Big Bang and evolution for that matter seeing how they more often than not tie into eachother. Absolutely not true. Jesus fulfilled the law. He did not destroy it. In John it says that those who keep His commandments are those who love Him. And those christians who live in sin are liars. God will abundantly pardon those who REPENT. But, fornicator, idolater, whoremonger, liar, covetous person will enter the kingdom of heaven. That means a christian living in sin who will not repent will go to hell. God loves them, but will not let a dark hearted person in the kingdom of light. They will be drawn to the darkness. Ahh the word “iniquity” will lead many christians to hell. Why are you telling others that they do not have to fear the Lord. God’s commandments are not guidelines, they are to be obeyed in Godly fear. God is Love and the fulfillment of the law is love. Love is keeping His commandments (John). This 85% number is why the Southern Baptists condemn themselves for not being more ethnically diverse. This would indicate as a denomination, they appear to be guilty of racism, but this is not an albatross for all of society or all US Christians to wear. Clearly, the SBC have failed to be inclusive, but that does not give David Platt the right or SBC the right to conclude US institutions are systemically racist, or that all whites are white-supremacy racists.
Clearly, the SBC accepted BLM's baseless accusations on other than the facts, because the SBC findings show most Christian churches are diverse and not racist, and no one had any worries of systemic racism from as recently as 2017. It was simply a denominational issue.
So, why does SBC label all churches as racist now and currently hold society's institutions are systemically racist? It is inherent in the SBC historical DNA and how the SBC came to be... Southern Baptist is a narrower grouping of Baptist churches. It originated over the question of whether slavery ought to be tolerated among Christians.
Yes, SBC was founded on racism and maybe a systemic racism of its denominational churches. But, they have no right projecting this Victimhood on you, me, or any church outside the SBC.

It is beyond me how he can believe that God chose some people to be saved and most people to be lost before the foundation of the world and then get up and try to convince people to be saved. An important part of his soteriology is that from before the foundations of the earth God already decided and chose who would be the “Elect” and who would be elected for hell. So he’s earning a bunch of people who he believes to be doomed from the womb. His warning is rather pointless because Calvinists believe that regeneration precedes faith anyway. How do I know what the truth is? Jesus says that God's word is truth in John 17:17. But every "church" uses God's word and they all tell me it means something different.

It is a choice that everyone makes, to either be with God or not. Even those who haven't chosen Him to this point are now living in His blessing and grace because His presence is in the earth. Yet, when the time comes, He will take those who have chosen Him and the full separation will come for those who haven't chosen Him... Which will be hell.
I hope that helps better understand. God is always good and loving. When it doesn't seem that way, it means that there are things we don't know or don't understand.
God does send people to hell. Yes, God is love, God gives grace and mercy but also God is just and righteous. And if God let people go free for their sins then God would not be just nor righteous. It’s a penalty for sin and death is it, it has to be paid either by your owe blood or the blood of Jesus Christ which cleanse one of all unrighteousness and makes one holy and acceptable to God.
The word says I set before you life and death, choose life. He gave us a free will so it is our choice.

Most modern bibles lie, change who God is and continually challenge God and His word by asking. Did God say? Come on, really?
God said He preserved His word. Psalm 12:6-7. Most modern bibles do not. In other words they are not admitting that God has a standard, His inspired word. His word is quick (alive) and quickens (gives life). His word is eternal.
Most of the modern bibles have at least one out and out lie. NKJB lies in Exodus 6:3. 'But by name LORD i was not known to them.' From Genesis 1 through to Exodus 6:3, LORD appears 242 times!

Is Social Justice for today as Platt teaches? Not by using Critical Race Theory / class warfare / power struggles as he teaches. MCDOWELL: Are some of today’s social justice movements coming from “a framework that is not compatible with the Bible” ?
WILLIAMS: Good question. There are a bunch of ideologies inspiring much of what is called “social justice” today-Neo-Marxism, Critical Race Theory, Postmodern Deconstructionism, Queer Critical Theory, and Gender Theory, to name a few. Let me offer three ways to discern between these ideological versions of justice and biblical justice:
1. If a view of justice blames all evil on external systems of oppression while ignoring Solomon’s pride-deflating insight that our own hearts are full of evil and moral insanity (Ecclesiastes 9:3) then it is not biblical justice.
A biblical worldview sees evil not only in “systems,” where we ought to seek justice, but also within the twisted hearts of those who make those systems unjust. Because evil resides in every human heart, all the external activism in the world won’t bring about any lasting justice if we downplay our need for the regenerating, love-infusing work of God through the Gospel.
2. If a view of justice deconstructs relationships in terms of “power-differentials” and argues that all such hierarchies are evil and must be abolished in the name of “equality” then it is not biblical justice.
A biblical worldview totally opposes the sinful abuse of power, but sees many hierarchies, like the parent-child, rabbi-disciple, elders-congregation, teacher-student relationships, as part of God’s good design for human flourishing.
3. If a view of justice interprets all truth, reason, and logic as mere constructs of the oppressive class, if it encourages us to dismiss someone’s viewpoint on the basis of their skin tone or gender, then it is not biblical justice.
The Greatest Commandment calls people from every ethnicity and gender to love God with our whole minds, which includes the truth-seeking, reasonable, and logical parts of our God-given minds. A mind that loves the Father assesses ideas based on their biblical fidelity, truth-value, and evidence, not the group identity of those articulating it.
Therefore, there are 2 types of Social Justice. One is man-centered on institutions and the other is centered on God and His power.
What, then, is the Christian view of social justice? The Bible teaches that God is a God of justice. In fact, “all his ways are justice” (Deuteronomy 32:4). Furthermore, the Bible supports the notion of social justice in which concern and care are shown to the plight of the poor and afflicted (Deuteronomy 10:18; 24:17; 27:19). The Bible often refers to the fatherless, the widow and the sojourner - that is, people who were not able to fend for themselves or had no support system. The nation of Israel was commanded by God to care for society’s less fortunate, and their eventual failure to do so was partly the reason for their judgment and expulsion from the land.
In Jesus’ Olivet Discourse, He mentions caring for the “least of these” (Matthew 25:40), and in James’ epistle he expounds on the nature of “true religion” (James 1:27). So, if by “social justice” we mean that society has a moral obligation to care for those less fortunate, then that is correct. God knows that, due to the fall, there will be widows, fatherless and sojourners in society, and He made provisions in the old and new covenants to care for these outcasts of society. The model of such behavior is Jesus Himself, who reflected God’s sense of justice by bringing the gospel message to even the outcasts of society.
However, the Christian notion of social justice is different from the contemporary, secular notion of social justice. The biblical exhortations to care for the poor are more individual than societal. In other words, each Christian is encouraged to do what he can to help the “least of these.” The basis for such biblical commands is found in the second of the greatest commandments-love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:39). Today’s politicized notion of social justice replaces the individual with the government, which, through taxation and other means, redistributes wealth. This policy doesn’t encourage giving out of love, but resentment from those who see their hard-earned wealth being taken away.
Another difference is that the Christian worldview of social justice doesn’t assume the wealthy are the beneficiaries of ill-gotten gain.
Basically, there is a tension between a God-centered approach to social justice and a man-centered approach to social justice. The man-centered approach sees the government in the role of savior, bringing in a utopia through government policies. The God-centered approach sees Christ as Savior, bringing heaven to earth when He returns.
David Platt teaches a man-centered fight for Social Justice which is built on hate, not love.

He said, "If you love me keep my commandments." So obey the law, but please don't say you are under it ok. But it's written, "he that sins is of the devil" 1jn3:8 Whosoever is born of god, does not commit sin. Keep in mind if you say this you're a lier 1jn1:8 and you've deceived yourself. Isn't god good?

Think about it logically. Study the scriptures. How could Jesus come back at a day and hour no one knows? How could the Son not know? FYI, Jesus is not sitting down at the right hand of God and will not come back in on a cloud. Those verses are figurative. Jesus is the right hand hand of the Father, Jesus is the Word. How are words formed? By writing them down and speaking them. When Jesus returns, he won’t be able to speak to everyone in person, he will have to write, just like he wrote the entire Bible. Jesus of Nazareth is who God chose to manifest himself into. He manifested himself into all of the authors of the Bible because he revealed himself to them and they then completely surrendered to him.

Jesus is the greater Moses. Who will be the greater Joshua. Joshua was the only man at the time who could see the promise land. He had to go on a mission and when it was completed, he and his men could enjoy their Heaven.
The reason Jesus will come like a thief is he will come in a way no one expects. He will again be born of a woman. Think about his conversation with Nicodemus. How can a man be reborn when he is old? This is the significance of Lot. When Jesus returns he will return as sinful as they come because he will carry the world’s sin. He will overcome everything so people can be confident they can do the same. Jesus will be married and his wife will represent Lot’s wife and Judas. His wife will divorce him on October 22nd. Jesus will not be named Jesus, but his name will be related. Remember, God is Just in how he deals with us. Jesus will not come to judge the world,but to save it and to unite everything.
