This is the finest flashlight I have ever owned. I didn't make any compromise and got everything I wanted out of an EDC flashlight in a small 2.5 inch package. Love it!
Can the auto-off be completely disabled once it's set for either 3 or 9 minutes? Pretty sure mine started out disabled, because I accidentally left it on in my shop and discovered it the next morning completely run down.
Does Oolight have any kind of trade-in policy, I have a seeker 2 pro that I love with one exception, the on button was bumped by another object inside my go bag and before I noticed it it had burned a 3-in hole in the side of my bag, luckily I noticed it when I did because it could have been a lot worse. I wish my seeker 2 pro had an auto-off feature...
I recently received a baton 4 flashlight. It's an awesome light! loving it so far! However I read online that charging in the cold is very dangerous for the battery. I intend to leave the flashlight in the charging case, in my bag. I work outside and need a flashlight every now and then. If the flashlight is charging while in the case, while in my bag, in sub zero temperatures will it damage the flashlight? it is often 20 below here and some days even colder. Reddit is full of people saying 'never charge the olight in subzero temps' it's not going to blow up on me or something is it? What is really so bad about rechargeable batteries charging while in freezing temps? Loving the light so far. The charging case is so brilliant. I believe I will be buying one of the spotting lights soon for my truck. but its cold here. I was walking my dog earlier tonight in minus 20C. after using the olight i put it back in the charge case and put it back into my backpack. so it was charging in the case in minus 20. And for my use case of a flashlight thats going to be the case for the this baton4 a lot. whats going to happen to it if i keep doing this? the battery will just fail one day and ill replace it? gg thanks.
You know, if you make this lid of the charging case partially transparent you could close it and still be able to use the flashlight while it's being changed. Just an idea. ....a really good idea.
Really enjoying this new light. Worth noting, the "auto-off" feature must be engaged each time while the light is on. Once it is turned off, it is cancelled. I thought this would be slick to prevent accidental turning on and dying in a pocket, but instead the lockout feature will accomplish that task. I wish there was a way to keep this feature turned on, but not a big deal with lockout. Though it hasn't happened in it's first week in my pocket, the button is not recessed so I could see it inadvertantly being turned on in the pocket. With the reflector side being up, it would likely be noticed if it were to be turned on. Overall, great light. Good runtime also. Other than the button, my only other nitpick would be to allow reflector down carry. I'm sure I'll get used to it.
What do you mean allow reflector down carry? It comes with a reversible/double sided clip. I use the top side/outside of the clip when in my pocket (reflector down). I only use the bottom side/inside of the clip if I’m clipping it to my hat or something to use as a headlamp. If you are using that side in the pocket then it is reflector up but you can quite literally carry it either way, just not sure why you would carry reflector up in the pocket.
Shame an issue was discovered with the case cause the light to act up when from moon light you switch to low and remain on low. It will cause the light to start flashing and flickering
Still rocking my Olight M18 Maverick I bought in July 2013. Works like new still. I EDC carry it for the strobe mode with 2 x CR123A batteries. I rarely use it for anything, it just stays in pocket for the most part. But here and there I do use the medium or low mode for something quick. I only swap the batteries about once a year. But, if I had a good rechargeable, I would use it more, because I could recharge it any time. Only problem is, I don't trust a sealed rechargeable will last 10+ years like my current flashlight with replaceable batteries, I expect it to last for life.
Why the 0.5 lumens on Baton4 are so much weaker then the 0.5 lumens on Baton3?! Im sure that Olight lie about it to report a huge runtime in moonlight.
Great work Johnson. Killer presentation as always.
Lost mine, ordered another. Love this little guy.

That was awesome I absolutely love the new Baton 4 upgrades especially that gorgeous brown and gold.
Ordered from Amazon today . Thanks olight . I like your lights . They’ve gotten better and better over the years . I haven’t broken one yet .
Absolutely love it ❤❤❤
Yes!!
I just ordered the Baton Premium right before this video 😂

Never mind. I get it - you have to set the timer each and every time you turn it on. That's fairly worthless.
Thank you! 😍❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎
Can’t wait. I’ll finally be able to see.

How do you turn that Timer function OFF?!
Awesome flashlight. I have the baton 3 pro, absolutely loving it. Will the baton 4 pro. E released soon?

The problem is charging the battery as a whole. When the torch is inside the portable charger it's acting as one unit.
M lock and dovetail mounts please 🤩
Can you program to when turned on it it’s always on high first?
For some reason my baron 4 case is not charging the flashlight. Can some one help me?
My I5R has been pretty dam durable , I'm considering a baton 4 as well. I just hope it has the same durability
you can only use the olight battery 🔋 right?
yes
Hey....i thinh in level high ...the power is 600 lm...not 300....it is not very important.....just a small small mistake.....
Big Kiss to FRANCE ❤❤❤
Thank you for clarifying. 600 is correct.

That is actually the thunderstorm mode..the flickering is the lightning..the case and baton 4 has to be on full charge for this to work apparently..✌️
I just wish it charged with USB C. I don't want a random charger I'm going to lose.

Can you literally dive into the instruction manual. That would make a great video
Who would use the auto shut off? oO sort of a pointless feature but nice edc light nontheless.
you need a cheat sheet to remember all these instructions. not for me

Draining a battery in 1.5 minutes is kinda scary to me idk why lol 😂
Let's hope America don't add tariffs to olight as they are a Chinese company 😉
If you understood, economics, you would know the tariffs are good for the American worker.
