Looking forward to our first Viking Ocean trip late this summer, so this video was a great way to tour the ship. I especially found the deck plans and locator dot to be very helpful. Thanks!
Great video, as a retired sailor (USN) I found it very helpful. The wife and I are booked on "The Trade Routes of the Middle Ages" departing Bergen 9 Sept 24. We've done two Viking River cruises and are really looking forward to our first Viking Ocean. cruise
You guys forgot to mention the 4th pool that almost nobody knows about haha. You can see it on the ship model, but the only people who have access to it are the staff. I also really liked the GPS style dot on the screen that shows exactly where you are on the ship. I think that's the first time I've seen that before.
Ha! Yeah, we usually don’t comment on amenities that guests can not take part in. Thanks for your kind comments about the red dot. It’s something we always kinda wished other ship tours have. We think it makes it easier to understand where on the ship we are. Just don’t scrutinize the exact placement of the dot. It’s close but not always true GPS precision! 😎
We've been on three Viking Ocean cruises, including one on the Sky. I found it to be elegant and tasteful, but indistinguishable from their other ocean going ships.
Have a great trip! Our understanding is that Vikings' ocean ships are like their river longships as they are all identical. They really are beautiful. Thanks for watching!
Back in 2019 This Cruise Ship Hit A Massive Storm That Caused Massive Swaying, Damage, And Even Flooding And Rescue Helicopters From 5 Different Countries Had To Save Half Of The Passenegers In That Cruise Ship And It Was A Disaster
love your lifestyle, Jan & Tracey...thanks for visiting my country last year..btw, what would be the best email to reach you at? im based in Alberta, Canada now and would like to explore a biz partnership with you both related to Cruises. Hope to hear from you two. Safe travels
Best ship tour video that I have seen. The red dot locator was unique and I found it very informative
Wow, thanks so very much!
Brilliant idea to have the deck plan as you go along.👏👏
Glad you like it! Just seemed like the natural thing to do. Thanks for watching and caring enough to comment!
Great video. We were recently on Viking Orion. This ship actually has a Planetarium on the upper Explorers lounge.
Oh wow. We loved the Explorers Lounge. Thanks for watching and sharing!
Great work! Going on our first Viking ocean cruise this summer. Your video really helped get a feel for the ship.
Wow. We are thrilled to here this. Have a great cruise!
Once you decide to take a second trip, you don't even need to study where everything is located. All of the ocean ships are essentially 99% identical.

Enjoy your cruise and thanks for the kind words.
Thanks for this. We are sailing on this ship in March of 24’ in a repositioning. Looking forward to
You are going to have plenty of time to enjoy the ship. Enjoy and thanks for watching.
Just returned on a cruise on the Sky to Hawaii...love Viking. It is the best..
Fantastic!

Well, from two retired Army Soldiers, let us first thank you for the kind words and also wish you Fair Winds and Following Seas!
Best review I have seen
Thanks so much. We are glad it was helpful!
Very well done ship tour.
Thanks!

@@janandtraceytravels I wasn't going to, but now that you brought it up, I"m going to have to scrutinize the exact location of the dot haha.
Ha! 😂

Exactly! There longboats are the same way. If you’ve seen one, except for some color/fabric changes, you’ve seen them all.
We will be cruising on the Viking Sea next month (May 2024).

And you would never have known that this was the same ship. Remarkable! Thanks for watching.
Viking Ocean ships are all the same so it makes choosing Viking easy.
You've seen one, you've seen them all. We just would like to be able to see them more often!
