Kool video guys ... awsome trucks.... a little out of my budget.. also i think that building a lifted truck from stock yourself is an beutifull experience.. picking and choosing wheels, tires lift is the best part.. keep the videos coming... 🤟🏻
brother you gotta be smoking something. Buying wheels and tires for min has been an anxiety producing experience lol.. I have them picked out finally. But, you're right, i have much more enjoyed buying my BDS lift and wheels and tires more than just signing for a 70k truck. i actually got a 2018 lt z71 for 28k after trade(2012 silverado that i was upside down in to get out of a Ram). anyways, i'll have exactly what i want and only have 34k in the truck.
Great video guys, good work. The problem I see is once you purchase one of these type of lifted trucks even the Fords with the FTX/Tuscany package you don't get to keep hardly any resale value. They are throwing on like what maybe 10 Grand worth of parts but the vehicle price is jacked up an extra 30 Grand? Its only gonna resale more than likely as a stock truck value. So your def purchasing these vehicles for private taste which is why I like to build my lift. This way I can start and stop when I want. Love those gauges from SCA though would have like to have seen them during the night with all lights, maybe you guys could do that next time? Keep up the good work!
Buying upgrades at a dealer is like buying a wedding cake for a birthday party. It costs twice as much for the same cake. guys that have trucks at that price are rolling HD diesels. Good looking trucks though.
That's pretty good endorsement of SCA coming from you guys. GMC dealer around here has been getting them for a while and has a few 2500 Black Widows right now. You did forget to mention the Black Widow puddle lights, though!
OK, lift kit, wheels, and other accessories aside. The best feature of those trucks is the paint. Why the HELL doesn't GM offer that type of option form the factory as an upgrade? Even at a 1000.00 upgrade cost it would be worth it. Especially the light gray...so clean looking and nice. The paint match interior is just a plus. I'd also like to see that style lift on the GMs. I think they would look better that the giant spacers you usually see at the top of the strut.
I had a SCA bumper on my 2014 gmc wasn’t happy they didn’t send hardware and brackets then I tapped a Honda and bend the steel very soft metal...at the end of the day it’s just looks
You guys should definitely reverse engineer those cab/ wheel well corners maybe offer them up for sale... Just a thought. Another great video guys, great work!
I'm with the price on this one.. you can spend the same out and buy a Denali or a high country Duramax diesel and spend mabe $65 grand and save close to $20 grand. But also mabe you have the money and don't want a diesel and want a truck thats already built... I'd go with the dirtymax tho.. but great vid like always
I live close to your guys shop! I want to stop In since i watch all your videos, cant believe I'm only just discovering this. I want to lift my 14 silverado
Great video guys. Love the trucks too. I like trucks, but my 20-something daughter and her bf are really into trucks. btw- I can see that you had some trouble communicating with one another while out on the road. Here is a tip. There is this cool thing that someone invented. It is called a cell phone. Give on a try, you'll like it:)
the benefit to these trucks that they left out is the upgraded brakes, adjusted headlights, and re calibration of speedometer, and the whole truck is completely warrantied which you dont get other wise super pricey and could build it cheaper and cooler yourself but I think some people appreciate the warranty feature. Plus you can take it in to the dealership and get all the lift components re calibrated so it continues to have that stock feel
Isn't SCA/Southern Comfort a competitor of yours? Of course they are more mass produced and put on dealer lots, while you guys are more personal and CUSTOM for each customer, after they have already bought the truck. I really love that all matte light greyed out truck, matte black is nice, but from working at a dealer they suck to keep clean. I am more of a Chevy guy just like these are, but they do make some mean looking Ford F-150s that I have seen on Town & Country TV. Speaking of dealers and mass produced lifted trucks, the dealership that I use to sell and work for is an exclusive to the area dealer of American Luxury Coach (ALC for short) trucks, both HDs and 1500 as well as a lifted Tahoe (Midnight Edition). I haven't seen a custom lifted Colorado from them on the lot, but they do it too. I would just buy the ZR2 and be done with it though. The packages range anywhere from 10k for basic lift, wheels, tires to 28k for a much more extreme custom lifted truck and you could see them on www.washingtonchevy.com. Sadly I never got to do a longer test drive like you guys did with SCA to see if the Fabtech kits soak up the bumps as well.
SCA just picked up Ram as well. They have Ford and Chevy of course. I wish they would pick up Tacoma though. The guys are about an 1 and a half away from me.
@@aguyonastreet There are articles posted. Here is one. www.davearbogast.com/apex-conversion-truck-by-sca-performance/ Many of the auto dealers online also advertise this as a SCA 6" lift by Fabtech.
trucks are just getting too expensive, we went to look at getting a couple work trucks for our business, nearly 40k for a stripped down vinyl floor truck, the tires and suspension need upgraded right off the lot (feels like driving on marsh mellows) if you want to put any kind of tools and equipment on it, and if you want to go with a 3/4 ton forget it.
I bought a 2019 Silverado Black Widow, first off the truck's oil pressure gauge did not work, second the flares did NOT have Marine Grade Hardware and rust happened, thirdly the truck left your shop without the performance exhaust as stated on the build sheet, with all this being said HOW DID this truck pass your rigorous 100+ point inspection? Please contact me for further information.
Hey man, the best thing you could do about that is contact the dealership that you had purchased it from and talk to them about the problems you were experiencing.
skankhunt42 Lmao bullshit? Not quite. Every truck that comes through I’ve personally drove or touched. I live in trussville, which is we’re SCA is based out of.

That’s like a 16k option on Lots here in TN they want like 60k overall price for these trucks way overpriced for 6k in lift tires and whatever those bumpers n lights and exhaust
Have you guys drove a new gmc lifted with the bds magneride? I want to lift mine but not sure if i want that kit or just get rid of the magneride completely and go with a cognito lift
See what I don't understand about this is that Wisconsin lift law is only I think 4 inches taller than stock so honestly the dealer is selling a non street legal truck. If you get pulled over by a cop and they say it's too tall and you say you bought it straight from the dealer, how is that going to work?
You can buy the same truck and make those bolt on modifications yourself and spend nowhere near that. Hell, you can buy that truck for between $39K to $42K and spend another $8K for the lift, wheels & tires and still be close to what they are asking for those. I will say they very good looking trucks but they aren’t worth that asking price
Smh 70k man i lifted my truck which is the same model for 5 grand total with the truck is 40 k just don’t have the fender flares and bumpers and they are 14 wides man these prices are getting out of hand. You can get a raged house in houston for that

The building they build these trucks is a 15 minute drive from my house. Super cool stuff
Can you give me the address please?
I saw one of the lighter gray black widow military edition Silverado in Savannah, Ga one weekend.....its even more amazing in person
I remember southern comfort packages being on a lot of 90's chevys but mostly 2wd only. 4wd was a cool one to see cause they were kinda rare

I love the "Concave" look of the wheel, although i'd like to see more Alumuinum accents in them, looks really cool though, and love the "matte finish"!
These trucks are awesome... 30,000 worth it! paint, lift, wheels, plus cops can't say anything because they are from the dealership!
I got my 2017 LT Silverado Z71. For 50k down here in South Texas. Love it is awesome
