Modernish Fords can also leak through the roof gutters under the plastic trim, soak the headliner and end up in the boot. One to watch out for James, Merry Christmas to you and all your family.
Hello from Ireland, James. All you're cars are looking great, bro. That Yard now looks brilliant, doing it was a great idea. The Meriva didn't last long, to be fair. I remember seeing, Joe, getting it ready for you, to take. Nice Car, James. 🙏🙏👌👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
James - it's most unreasonable of you not to pick up the car and drop it back after the work was done as requested by the customer. Personally I think you should have offered to pick up a fish & chips for the customer from the local chippy and popped into Tesco for them on the way to theirs. What's happened to real customer service? 🤣🤣🤣
You jest but that’s what going the extra mile means. Last car I bought the owner had thoughtfully tied a length of string to the emergency boot release so that I didn’t have to climb over the rear seats to access the line. They’d also attached a nice electrical chocoblock to the end of the broken bonnet release cable so I didn’t sever my finger off when filling up the empty washer fluid. Little things… they go a long way
Many car dealers don't bother to give their cars a good clean. They give them a quick wash with a power washer, and that's it. I was a car cleaner in the 1960s. Every car was vetted by the manager and then cleaned from top to bottom, even if it was a cheaper car. The price of cars sold with high miles is unbelievable. In my opinion, customers are buying the high milage problems that go along with the car.
I love 106 Gti's/Saxo VTSs but they rot like crazy. Maybe being off the road for so long might have helped save this one. Definitely would be a good giveaway car 👍
Super update James - when someone says “if” in their enquiry reply, then further asks about ‘ownership’ you know you can go Home early! Hopefully full clear on the Meriva, as I could feel the gearbox on the ‘one-day-left’ deliverer on the way out ! However…(😉) you SOOOOOO undersold the Jeep…….bi-times ! Keep ‘em com’ JCHK
I got a 20yrs old Suzuki Wagon R that I use as a spare car. The old thing never fails. Starts every time & runs sweet. Was on 40k when I bought it. On 60k now & apart from oil/filter change has never needed a spanner putting on it. Old cars are far superior to modern cars.
My wife had a new Jazz 20 years ago - one of the best cars we've owned. Passed it to my son as his first car a few years later and he loved it. The subsequent model wasn't as good....
When I was a teenager I ran about in a Renault 21 TXE with the digital dash ( which actually worked ). Not as fun as a GTI hatch, but bloody comfy old barge and only cost £150.
@@richardburns1287 Mine was a sea of blue velour inside and while the surface build quality wasn't all that, the mechanical bits were very robust, just the rust was an issue, though no more than most 80's cars.
@NotRubensDad mine was a sea of beige inside, good road holding, I remember putting all matching brand new tyres on it which transformed it, drove like it was on rails and it didn't have any rust, it was an E reg 1988. I can't remember how much it was, won't have been much, it didn't carry much street cred, but that didn't bother me, so nice to drive 👍
Oh no James youve done it again and hooked me in with another tale of some of our countries finest car buyers......let me sit down and strap in for 6pm
10/10 to you though chops all your cars look to be shining before your customers collect em. Many car sales are look the one your customer mentioned more a yard full off filthy motors 😢
Citroen Nemo, great when there going but full of faults I've got a 2012 diesel automatic passed it's MOT advisory free 3 months ago and them gearbox started playing up been to the garage twice spent a fortune but it only lasts two to three weeks nobody seems to know how to fix it properly. Given up, bought a Dacia Sandero Stepway.
I’ve got an 03 auto in 50 shades of blue. Bought it to use it as a dump runner/dog car a few years ago. Starts first time, costs nothing to run and the last 4 MOTs have had no advisories. Bangernomics at its best! 😂
Has your Honda loan car had an exchanged rear off-side door? It seems a different shade of silver. This may be the car, your camera, an optical illusion, or most likely, my eyes.
My order of importance with buying a car is condition first, then mileage snd age. I’d rather have older car in better condition, rather than newer and not so good. I’d rather have higher miles with service history rather than lower miles without service history.
James, a Honda salesman once told me that they always feel 100% confident selling a high mileage Jazz, even one that has covered 100K miles or more.... I know from my years with Honda motorcycles, that Honda sure know how to make an engine.....
If that Jazz hadnt started there would be people in deepest africa and the Australian outback looking up at the sky saying something is wrong in the world....
Hi chops, sorry to nag but that discount code didn’t work on the Topdon jump back. Please can you look into it? I would like one. Edit one you was going to talk about the Topdon but then the Jazz started and it didn’t get mentioned again. Assume it wasn’t on offer? None the less still love the channel. Making an honest mistake is why I come back. There’s no pretend or BS just straight up normal life.
buying a car to fit dogs in ! thats the point in your life when you have given up and start buy clothes from charity shops ! one of my last cars was a Supra i loved that car more than my wife and a dog would not be allowed within 100 yards
But I love my dog more than my wife it doesnt answer me back or ask for thousands of pounds a month 😂 I'd rather put my dog in my x3m than the wife. (dog doesn't get in to be fair I use the wifes v class as its always filthy anyway)
Should have got tyres done prior to advert mate, people can't /don't accept anything, it's crazy, make em 100% ready before advert, any minor infringement and they think it's knackered, really weird these days.
Make a note in your head bud that your not putting a fresh, free mot on that vauxhall in 6 months bud. Be careful if less than 6 months mot, as a test failure for them will bounce back on you,
These Old / High Milage cars all want heaps of money throwing at them . Regardless of how you try and dress them up. Forget all this MOT B/S. Just legal tyres ect. Weld up bits REALY. WHAT RUBBISH ARE YOU SELLING !!.
When they ring or message bud, it's all 100% to go, people loose interest otherwise, hit it once and hit it hard, local customers coming onto your forecourt might be more reasonable if something catches their eye, it's a strange job when having 2 new tyres kills a deal, people are so daft they think any consumable means something serious is wrong, it's all oh it needs new tyres, oh why, what else is wrong and so it goes...
Modernish Fords can also leak through the roof gutters under the plastic trim, soak the headliner and end up in the boot. One to watch out for James, Merry Christmas to you and all your family.
Hello James, another varied and interesting video. Your "hire car" should last you for ages and reliable too! Best wishes from Lincolnshire
There's no end to hard work James, all looking good.
Good shout putting the raffle details on screen. I watch on TV so also never see any links.
Entered now, hope it raises good money for the cause 😊

Kuga, always check the roof bar mounts... Or the top brake light surrounds for water ingress.

What is happening with that red Jag James?
You should’ve seen the 2nd hand cars in the 70s and 80s. These are brand new compared to them.
Only a while ago it was mud and cars with green mould on them, eh mate (!)
Honda Jazz 50 shades of silver 😂

Lol
3:22 Is this Brooke's Citroen C1?
honda jazz in my area ive seen 3 with rotted arches
Loads of main dealers put stock on display thats not been prepared and looks shabby. I don't think most punters care.
I’d also be keen on your jazz

Apart from the gearbox bearings and rotten sills.
To be fair it is a Captiva with a different badge!
If only main dealers were as good as ur garage
You're a diamond ❤️
Cheers
James why do you not put prices in your cars?? , its free advertising, also why dont you place a sign in the windows of your cars that need preping?.
How much does the jazz owe you ?
Speaking of Hondas, do you still have the CR-Z knocking about?
No
The antara lady......sounded overly keen for something, anyhing 4 x 4 ......weird.
35 to 65? nah, wish i was feller.
It's a Honda Jazz of course it's going to start 😊
It’s a Honda bulletproof but suffer from corrosion
Naughty James! Clickbait title, i was expecting a vid about an entitled Karen complaining about your cars... 😁
Can we get a video on the classic cars
If you want to be really helpful for people watching on TV, you can make a QR code that goes straight to the raffle
Good call

Did anyone else notice that the 106 changed from a K plate to an M plate in the photo's? (13.40 to 13.34)
Wouldn't surprise me if he's rung it, likes to run around uninsured so anythings possible
How could he drive when 18 months old?
I’ve sent you a message on insta about my old Yamaha mt07 and maybe selling my civic type r
