This may sound stupid but watch the video upside down. It will put you in the perspective of your own playing angle to make following along a lot easier, I do it for a lot of videos like this. Great video by the way!

Joachim rotation lock your phone and turn it upside down or of youre on pc there’s a certain way to flip the screen but i forget. A quick google search would tell you thiugh

I started to learn the guitar 35 years ago, no classes, just from friends and whoever… so my skill never got to the “nexr level”, until i learn and master this song few months ago. Now i really feel like “i can really play the guitar now”. Love this guy. I ll try “Careless whisper” next.
I first tried to play this when I was only about 5 months into playing guitar ,and totally new to fingerstyle , I couldn't even play the half of the 1st line of the song in a week
Now after I've been playing guitar for about 1year 2 months I managed to learn this whole song in just about a week .
Hard work and dedication pays off guys , you all will succeed one day, Just Keep Trying :)

Atomic hi guys i think it is better like this.. like he explains everything very deeply.. its better than pausing and looking on screen for a while .. morever .. ur technically communicating.. because you need to understand and that is better for ur brain and makes it more memorable... like he explains and you can understand why he is having a bar or not and everything...

The thing is you cant learn this song in 30 minutes. You have to keep practising and sometimes its better to have the tabs written somewhere so that you dont have to open the video and search for for a small fragment in the whole video.
It would be easier to learn for the people that don't understand english at 100%, like me, cause if don't underdtan what's he explaining I can guide a little by the tabs

For anyone trying to master the speed and rythem of the first part

Play at normal or o.75 then move up to 1.25,1.5,1.75 and 2 times the speed then use
6:53
At 0.75 them move up to the actual speed
