Welcome back Matt, life happens. Lovin your set up as always. I really like the info you're providing on various products, I'm looking into a powerpack, that one looks pretty jacked
I did a search last night to see if you put out any new videos and did not find any. Pretty cool it must have been a premonition cuz here you are tonight lol. Watching the video now 😊🖐️‼️ God bless you and your family. We got a new TV about a week ago and it's too big for entertainment center so we ordered a new one and guess what? It has built in lights inside that you can turn on that change colors similar to yours and of course I thought of you LOL 🤓💯‼️ that was a great idea how you vented your AC in there and the screen! Very innovative thinking!
I love your videos! Been watching van camping videos for at least 2 years and yours are some of my favs! Looking forward to finding out more about the AC in future videos!
I think if you use a pole to raise the middle of your tarp that this would really help you. And of course securing your tie-downs more. Nice video. Stay safe!
A thought on your Zero Breeze, maybe turn on your van to cool down your van first then switch on the Zero Breeze. I have a similar set up for a portable AC unit I run in my van on shore power. Soon I'll have my Inergy power station and solar panels hooked up.
Am alternative to the zero breeze is the icybreeze cooler. It uses much less power to run it but you need ice and water. I took my icybreeze when I went camping for 5 nights. During the day I had zero shade aside from my instant canopy. I was able to feel decent (I wasn't sweating) with the icybreeze blowing in my face while it's 94 degrees with no clouds.
Obviously that’s not a real air conditioner but yeah I want to try it out and do a review on it. Seems like a great way to help stay cool just wasn’t sure if it worked much
I used Icy Breeze last summer. I was a hassle to go get 3 bags of ice every evening to get me through the night!! Plus I didn’t like the cost of the ice. I LOVE my Zero Breeze!!
It seems like the zero breeze is a good option if you have access to AC but is too much of a draw on the power stations especially if you were going to be camping more than 1 night. I’d rather just keep some gel packs in my cooler and throw them under my neck
You definitely need a pretty big power station to run it many hours. With a 3000wh power station you should be able to run around 10-12 hours on high. Perfect for cooling off before bed and while sleeping. Multi day trips you’re going to need a bunch of solar to recharge before bed again. So all depends what someone’s is looking for. A high powered shop fan actually works really good on its own
I honestly should used it with the electric grill, maybe I wouldn’t have burned my food lol. I just wanted to save as much of the power for the ac as I could
Next time you leave it in the van to run Do Not run the intake tube to the outside, leave it off. Vent the exhaust as you did. Bet you get a lot better results. Great video.
Just a quick comment. If you can divide your intake and outlet for the A/C unit one in each front window (one in passenger side, one in drivers side)that way they are not fighting against each other. You may get a better result.
Perhaps next test you can start the van and pre-cool it with the engine AC. Pretty sure opening and closing the door isn't helping. I too camp in a Dodge Caravan. Thanks for the vid!
You really had me concerned there about those sandwiches! I was scared to death you weren't going to burn them. Every good camping trip has burnt grilled cheese! Lol! Great video keep em coming my friend!
While Wave 2 is 5100 BTU and can cool larger spaces, its bulkiness reduces portability, a key concern for outdoor enthusiasts. Additionally, its higher energy consumption is problematic. Furthermore, it may not effectively cool during the day. As like most outdoor enthusiasts, we spend minimal time in vehicles or tents during daylight hours, and we rely on air conditioning primarily at night. A 2300 BTU of ZERO BREEZE is the best choice for nighttime cooling, offering better energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and portability.

Why not just take the intake hose off and let it suck in the semi cooled air to cool on down? Most air conditioners use the inside air rather than starting out with the outside hot air.
