I loved it how everytime Chuck clapped the background music slammed. An intense episode with a lot of twists and good ones as well. This was the best episode of this season. Looking forward to the end of the series.
I feel like people dont understand what this means. Castiel went off script. The big bads often see Castiel as insignificant but this means he in fact was the most significant because if Chuck couldn't control Castiel it means he waa shaping his own story and in doing so shaping Dean and Sam's. Everything they have ever done from stopping the apocalypse to replacing Chuck as God has been because of Cas. It also explains why Cas wasn't in Chuck's death book.
It's an eternal dissappintment beacuse if someone follows his book that's too predictable boring, but if they don't, that's too unacceptable and broken. Nothing is ever good enough. No middle ground is to be found with him.
Like John Constantine once said; "God is a kid with an ant farm." That definitely applies to Chuck. He just likes throwing tantrums at everyone because that's what makes him feel big.
@tremainemarion9484power scaling is damn stupid.... I mean his such have a God of Destroy level of power he should be everywhere at once.... they did hom dirty and the actor was not convincing Preacher did a better job at doing the whole absent couldn't care less attitude of an omniscient being.
Lol I'm rewatching the show and the "not the one off the line with the crack in his chassis" was said almost exactly by Naomi towards the end of season 8. Really cool how they called back to such a brief line from halfway across the series
Jack and Chuck-I would have liked to see their relationship go deeper. Just interesting since Jack is Chuck's only living grandson and That Jack's grandfather is God.
It didn't go deeper because Chuck didn't give a shit about Jack hence why he killed him. I do believe Chuck was fearful of Jack's growing power you know him being the only Nephilim sired by Archangel. So he killed Jack while he still could and Jack did eventually strip Chuck of his powers and knowledge rendering him mortal.
-Michael in the main universe almost is a mirror to Chuck’s fake benevolent persona. -Lucifer is more like chuck then we realised, and probably was the only one he loved since he didn’t destroy him first chance or any chance but cage him -Raphael definitely acts like chuck in terms of Wrath and cruelty(which ironically since Raphael in biblical and Hebrew lore is suppose to mirror God healing power and kindness) -Gabriel trickster’s side and him often playing with people lives is just a more childish verison of chuck writing, I also will say that for Gabriel it’s just having fun where’s with chuck it’s obsession. The Archangels are definitely his kids, made to be “laser lights” but I think Michael and Gabriel are better then him. The Oldest and the youngest, a father will often want his oldest son to be “better then him” and not make the same mistakes so Chuck succeeded with Michael, and with Gabriel, definitely the youngest child who nothing like his brothers but is still his father’s son
I feel like the issue is that they made god the bad guy very random, i feel like a villain like this should’ve been branched out all seasons, even back in apocalypse world, it would’ve been cool to see evil Micheal dying to chuck, the actor who played god was good
Wait so all that talk from Adam earlier saying how he’s been planning chucks demise for a long time and how he was waiting for jack to come was written or was he working for Chuck the whole time I’m confused 🤣
Chuck knows it all except what Death planned inside the empty. Outside of the empty, Chuck knows. So yes, Chuck instigated Billie so she would plan to kill him. He however, did not count with the power of the empty and how the spark of life Jack took from Adam's rib was going to convert him into a vacuum. The idea was for Jack to become a bomb but he exploited in the empty, a whole realm.

Everyone knew Sam and Dean would always win in the end as they were the main characters and plot armour. Also writers are only human there going to make mistakes and write things that don't line up with what was previously written. Also god is an impossible character to write because we have no idea what God is or if he even exists. It's never all gonna make sense and line up perfectly.

So Chuck kills Jack, simply to eliminate a possible threat, and to punish the Winchesters, all just so he can bring him back for his "perfect ending."
