“I had 5 brothers, now I’m not a brother anymore.” That scene it me the most. God bless you Kevin & your whole family

God bless Kevin Von Erich, he's truly an inspiration. A great wrestler who managed to stay positive after all these years. Being a wrestling role model, a father, husband, uncle, and a grandparent to his whole family. Even after losing all his brothers to drugs, suicide, & an accident because of the sport they ALL trained for.

@alecaquino4306 idk if Lacey ever comes back to wrestling tho.
As much as I'd love to have her in AEW or a TNA return, idk how she feels about wrestling in 2023. Girlie hasn't been in the public eye since she left TNA. So who knows but her coming back to wrestling would be a lot of fun.

@@SamuelDuplessis12 Seeing Lacey back would be great to see! But seeing her happy in whatever industry she chooses to pursue in life would be just as nice after everything her family went through. I know you feel the same :)

Great interview. I saw it on Christmas, such a great movie, sad at times but great. U could tell from the watching it that his family (wife and kids) saved his life and u could feel the love that he had with his brothers. Really good film.

Im proud to call that man My Really Good Friend/ Older Brother i never had ... over the past 30 years ive traveled with him ... Worked for him and even lived with him for a time after his Dad passed in 97 ,.. most importantly however Ive learned from him .... In private he is EXACTLY what you just saw in this interview... If this movie wins a thousand oscars ..... It won't go to his Head one bit . .. GOD really did me a favor when he crossed our paths back in May of 1993.

The guy playing Kerry looks 75 lbs lighter than Kerry (: would have to really suspend reality to make it work. Idk but the dude looks 'maybe' 180 and Kerry looks to be around 250-265 depending on what year. Kevin was one of the best to ever do it. The dude is like a modern day Tarzan.

There is a story that Vince McMahon wanted Kerry Gene to be his starring wrestler instead of Terry Gene.
Things could have been so different.

I honestly don't like what Kevin is doing, constantly defending his father. Him making this movie is pretty much still somewhat adhering to his father's pimp doctrine of trying to make yourself into the biggest star possible at any cost.
The movie is solid, but the story is beyond depressing and it's clear the relationship with the father isn't good. Maybe not hate him like a monster, but find him completely foreign is the trick. Speaking like a child of abusive, alcoholic and authoritative, selfish parents. But I wouldn't defend him.
