Zac Efron is tremendous in The Iron Claw. Everyone should go see this film for the performances alone, but the story is also incredibly moving
yeah I already knew he was a great actor because he's done a lot of comedies he's been excellent in and those are way harder than drama, but he gave his best performance so far in this film!

@@spegetimanI get what they are saying. They are both very difficult! I definitely thinks it’s hard to be naturally funny on screen. It can come off cheesy or trying to hard. However, I feel all of Zach’s comedy movies are genuinely very funny and he is standout. I think I have seen about everything he has done including his docuseries traveling the world. He has done great serious roles before this with “The Lucky One” which is one of my favorites he has done and “Gold.” Ironclaw is definitely the best movie I saw in 2023 and in my opinion, Zach could win the Oscar for such a stand out role. The ending line to his son WRECKED ME😭😭

To consistently book a movie after movie after coming out of Disney as a child actor is quite an achievement and I'm glad he finally booked a role that will showcase his growth as an actor. He's had quite a challenging path as an actor and it's about time he gets recognition for his talent. As a highschool musicall fan, I'll always root for him.

I’m not sure what you’re talking about. He’s been in several hit movies and series. That 16 movie with Mathew Perry, Ted bundy, Baywatch, Fire starter, the greatest beer run ever, the greatest showman, neighbors 1&2, plus the iron claw he’s advertising now. And he also has a series called Gold. And that’s not all of them… so again, I’m very confused why you would say that. Many of these movies and series were a huge hit! It doesn’t sound like you’re that big of a fan and you really need to do your research before spouting out nonsense
I really enjoyed the series on Netflix called Down to Earth with Zac Efron. Show me a whole different side of them

So glad to see Zac finally getting versatile roles and recognized as a serious actor and not just a heart throb. Why is it American hosts always interrupt and talk over their guests though, it get annoying.

It's usually due to the horrible time constraints. They only are allowed x number of minutes and they have to get through the talking points before next commercial breaks etc.
Can we just appreciate Zac’s caring heart about this family. Being a teen star he seems very humble. Looking forward to more heart warming project from him.
He really needs a role as a superhero. Those kinds of roles usually push actors quickly into superstar status and he definitely looks the part
I feel you could sit down with him and be able to talk for hours about anything. I love how appreciative he is of his parents helping him drive to auditions and helping him to pursue his dreams. The idea of him skateboarding over the stars sounds so much like him. Humble dude which is difficult to find these days.
I like how Zac still apperciates HSM as being his starting point, he doesn't try to ignore it.
As someone who grew up watching both wrestling and Zac's career kick off at the same time, I was so excited he booked this.
When the first trailer dropped, I got so hyped for it. He's such a great actor and good dude.

Zac Efron gives his most powerful performance in The Iron Claw. I saw it last night and it's a tearjerker. He was truly robbed of a Golden Globe nomination!! 🙏
i don't think it was eligible for a globe nom since its still technically not out yet. i saw a screening of it about a month ago and me and my buddy i went with are still talking about it. it was great having a q and a with durkin after as well but i have no doubt he'l get an oscar nod but sadly he's running into a once in a generation performance against cillian murphy in oppenheimer

Zac Efron is one of the few teen stars that I am very happy with how he turned out. I’ve been liking his movies.
so glad to see Zac getting some recognition besides high school musical, his career definitely needed a change, this one's a career change! big hug to Efron man, so proud of him.
Going into the rated R comedy I thought was a big change tho with such varying comedic roles. I was shocked at his range there. “17 again” is one of my favorite of all time lol. Then, he did a romantic drama with “The Lucky One,” Then suspense thriller in “Gold.” I’ve thought he shown great range through his career, but I definitely think Ironclaw is the most unique role he’s ever done and definitely his most standout role. He can win the Oscar!

I grew up in the 1980’s and I loved wrestling. Kevin Von Erich was my favorite. I’m excited to see the movie. Zac looks amazing in it. Zac has come a long way from High School Musical. He’s wonderful in The Greatest Showman and 17 Again. His hard work has certainly paid off!
He has come a long way, but I’m happy that he seems to be appreciative of everything that High School Musical did for him.
I didn't even realize it was him the first couple times I saw the preview, he really bulked up for the role. I'm not a huge wrestling fan but this movie looks worth seeing.

I will be the first to admit that I am not a High School Musical fan. Though I do see the talent there in Zac with his performance (I'm not stupid). But his recent films I absolute adore. He is a very talented actor and I am so happy to be around and old enough to understand his films.
I give it up to Efron. He did amazing. Not many movies make me tear up. This on did.
I just watched the Iron Claw because I watched the Von Erichs back in the day and I heard of Zac Efron but don’t watch stuff like High School Musical and just wanted to say he did a great job

@@nasseral-nazer4445 that’s a lie he told my friend. He said that once people noticed how botched the surgery went. He said he slipped and a fell on a glass table. Plenty of people get their jaws wired, chin scars, doesn’t come out looking like that. That’s fillers and botched plastic surgery. It’s obvious he has body dysmorphia with the steroids and got a little too addicted to face surgery. Look how strange his upper lip looks (nothing to do with a jaw surgery) they botched that too. It’s a shame.

Zach’s acting in Ironclaw could definitely win him the Oscar in my opinion! It’s my favorite movie of 2023! I shed a couple tears throughout the movie but man, I was sobbing during the end scene😅!

I was 6 years old when the first High School Musical movie came out so I definitely have a soft spot on the trilogy for my childhood, it's awesome to see how far he has become as an actor and worked with some of the biggest actors in Hollywood. He's one of few Disney Channel stars that didn't went crazy and has a successful huge career after finishing at Disney Channel picking interesting projects to showcase his range and versatility, I'm so proud of him. I can't wait to see The Iron Claw 👍

I can’t believe he wasn’t nominated for any major awards for The Iron Claw, it was a career best for him and definitely stood out amongst other performances over the 23-24 film season. See it if you haven’t seen it yet!!
