If I have this done to my normal cowboy boots that I use everyday for ranching in the summer rain snow cold dirt will they last longer than a year that’s usually about all I get out of boots nowadays

Hi, yes if you clean, condition, and polish, your boots will last a long time,
Dirt and water dries the leather Especially around the edges ,
I will recommend first, use Saddle soap, next leather conditioner especially around the edges. And depending on the leather, if is like the ones on this video add a Polish to make the boots water resistant, if is the leather on the boots flat no shine, add mink oil works great.

No, shine only clean and restore the leather. You can add mink oil for water resistant
