Fuckin what?? That’s crazy I’m not paying 2000 for something to clean a $200 pair of boots with. What kind of items are you talking about. I just bought my first pair of shit kickers and I just came in here to see how to care for them.
Great video, right to the point. So many RUclipsrs talk for 3 minutes about nothing before they actually start the topic. Easy to follow and understand. Thank you
On my 3rd pair of cow boy boots. This vid was very helpful and straight to the point. Explaining what products and how to use them. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us
Great video. Thank you for actually explaining what you need to do. Most of the other videos that I have watched were people mostly talking about themselves and very little about cleaning boots.
This was super helpful, I used this video to restore a pair of boots I thrifted! Also this is such a relaxing tutorial, I love all the brush cleaning sounds (lol)
I LOVE your cowboy boots, Joe Andrade!! I've LOVED cowboy boots since I was little! I have a broken-in brown pair with a more pointed toe and stitching on the toe. I wear mine with loose jeans, jerseys and even shorts!! I LOVE the stitching on the toe of cowboy boots. I think it makes them stand out more. I LOVE how they make me look taller. I'm 5'10" and I wear size 12. Cowboy boots need their own paid holiday!! :) :) I feel the same way you do about cowboy boots! 👍😎😊👊 I want a black pair next, maybe with the metal toe taps on them!! Can't wait!!
Your accent lol. Oklahoma? You have a slight hood slant to your voice too so its hard to peg the drawl. I reckon OK. Regardless this is the most efficient video on boot maintenance on all of damn youtube. Well done guy.
i dry my boots with a blow dryer on the lowest heat setting so you wont damage the leather and then i apply the conditioner and then dry it out again it tends to not leave a so dark look
If you use that horsehair brush quicker and faster you'll bring of real nice shiny Gloucester I use the same method but I brush it a lot quicker and take more time like 15-20 minutes and you'll bring a beautiful shine on those boots
Thank you for this video. I bought a pair of Lucchese Jasper boots a few days ago from Cavendars and I want to make sure they last for as long as possible. The guy who sold them to me encouraged me to condition my boots every 2 months or so depending on wear, and I've been looking for something to help me understand how to do that, and this video was perfect for learning what I need to do to keep the leather looking good. Thanks!
Lay off the saddle soap 🧼 try not to use it to often it will dry out and lighten your leather a quick wipe down with a dry rag or a dry soft brush will do the trick then apply your leather conditioner/0il and your done. Saddle soap should only be use only if the boot is stain with something.
I live in very hot country where the temp reach 130 F .. i bought nice 2 pairs from Texas .. I don wear them here in my country .. i want to take care of them .. could you please advise what i need to do .. and how often i need to oil them so the leather won't tear down .. thanks and appreciate any feedback
'Preciate the vid bro simple and to the point,if yall wondering about boots tony lama composite square toe 3r comanche boots are fkn great had them sons of bitches for about 3......maybe 4 yrs
Ok so for some reason one of my boots where the creases are it turned a brighter color brown than the rest of the leather, any way to make it back to the same color as the rest
Thank you, this is informative and non-complicated. I have two pair of boots that are "distressed" leather. (Abilene Bison 6404 and Ariat Heritage) They come out of the box without a shine and are not meant to be shiny. And....I like them that way, a lot, so how would you suggest I clean them up and restore the color without making them glossy and shiny?
Bick 4 is some excellent stuff that DEOSNT DARKEN the leather. Personal preference, for me I don't use it anymore because it's silicone content. Silicone is not bad imo, just want to stay more natural.
dirtripper outlaw: he said you can use all type of brand saddle soap which is just basically what you use for your boots and it’s nice and safe to use on leather so that’s your best bet pal I don’t cause I can’t relay find non in person so I just give it a nice water soak, and it works just fine but it dose make the cleaning process a two day thing cause I have to let it dry over night Also how severe your boots damage is then also means that’s how much products your gonna have to use to treat and restore your boots the best way possible I hope this help you a lot to understand how to care for your boots in the best way
does cleaning it with these two products make the leather darker after it's finished being cleaned or will it go back to the color when you took them out of the box?
Only bad about saddle soap is that it darkens your leather. My boots were medium brown ish color and now they’re like dark brown. Down fall on saddle soap. I’ll never use it again!
Finally an actual cleaning video that doesn’t require 2000 dollar items

@@LeskoBrandon2x i think he said that as a joke…
Great video, right to the point. So many RUclipsrs talk for 3 minutes about nothing before they actually start the topic. Easy to follow and understand. Thank you
Worked like a charm, never owned boots until this year and your video showed that cleaning them is very easily done, thank you.

Is boot cream good? Just got some boots and I want to keep ‘em nicely maintained.
How do you keep the stitching looking so white, or how do you clean them to get them that white?
Gracias !

Howdy, those are great cowboy boots. what brand and style number of those boots?
What boots are those? Looks VERY nice
Nice job. Add a little edge dressing to the soles and they'll look better than new
Good video
Goot video love 🤗😱❤️

Low grit sandpaper. Use it dry.
Use a neutral cream to protect it after conditioner
will the saddle soap work with exotics?
Is the saddle soap different than bick 1?
What boots are these? They are nice!
What next? Dry and wear or do you polish them?
I have lighter color boots will the bick 4 darken them up?
Bick 4 is some excellent stuff that DEOSNT DARKEN the leather. Personal preference, for me I don't use it anymore because it's silicone content. Silicone is not bad imo, just want to stay more natural.
You can do that but to stay a little more sanatairy put on some latex free rubber gloves
And then you can also not have the conditioner in your hands
Great video!!!
When do u add mink oil?
Alotta people don't like to use mink oil cause it will make your boot color darker
I’ve got the same pair, good lord you’ve darkened yours a lot lol
How many times a week? Or a month?
Hey what brand of boot and the order number
What if o don’t have saddle soap
Where can I get the soap
Clean exotic boots please?
After using rags. What to do with it???????.nobody answer my questions.
So i did this but my boots turned pale afterwards 🙁
Are they distressed boots???
gave some life back to my ariat boots 🤙🤙
Would you use this method for exotic leather like ostrich or lizard?
Pablo's Dry Flies and Birdshot yes, my boot shine guy uses same process but also add shine same color as my ostrich boots.
No, exotic booths you use a different conditioner
Does it matter what kind of soap to use
dirtripper outlaw: he said you can use all type of brand saddle soap which is just basically what you use for your boots and it’s nice and safe to use on leather so that’s your best bet pal
I don’t cause I can’t relay find non in person so I just give it a nice water soak, and it works just fine but it dose make the cleaning process a two day thing cause I have to let it dry over night

does cleaning it with these two products make the leather darker after it's finished being cleaned or will it go back to the color when you took them out of the box?
Nik Jan yes the bick will just moisturizes and conditions the leather. It will go back to normal after a while
What’s the brand of these boots
Ariat
do you wash the shaft as well as the vamp?
Saddle soap and condition the whole boot.
I love bicks cleaner and conditioner, works on my boots
If you don't take care of your boots, you ain't no cowboy.

Only bad about saddle soap is that it darkens your leather. My boots were medium brown ish color and now they’re like dark brown. Down fall on saddle soap. I’ll never use it again!
or maybe your boots were just dry as fuck and the color was leaving them.
Brandon Rodrigues no! They were light brown since I bought them. First time I applied the saddle soap and it darkened them.
LANDA409 then they were probably try when you bought them. A lot of boots are
Saddle Soap will NOT change the color
What boot is that called?
Wilma.
Aren't you the guy who demonstrated hillbilly-made hat hangers?
Y porqué no hablas en español ?
Por qué hablas como gringo si eres bien mexicano?
Sergio Ramirez silva Esta haciendo un video en ingles no en español.
Yum lets eat my dinner with dirty boots on the table
This ruined my $4000.00 pair of boots
Then maybe don't buy $4000 boots if you can't afford to to take care of them
Dumb ass
He did say this is how he cleans his boots! Most likely like everything in this world is at your own risk!
If you can afford $4,000 boots, just pay someone to clean them for you.
TB I mean really.
