The concept is cool, and it looks smokeless too with not splatter on the glass lid…but the fan cone in the middle really is a detriment to this design as you have to work and around it. I think Ninjas approach is better executed.
I agree with you about the cone in the middle. I do like the glass lid. That’s really cool. Ninja has yet to do that. I’m tempted to purchase this to compare to the ninja, which I already have.
@@shoushanab.7433 Totally agree with both yall. Given the glass lid, i don't think Instant could have designed it any other way. There are always tradeoffs in design. There's no way to make a glass lid with the heating elements coming from the top. I'm not sure which one is better overall. The Instant grill is definitely going to be cumbersome to fit food, like steaks. Would love to see side by side comparison from anyone knowledgable with Ninja Grills.

I have the Ninja air Fryer/ grill 1st gen. Love it but it sets off my smoke alarm in my apartment when i use the grill mode
I don’t have an indoor grill or an air fryer but I really really like the glass top! That one feature might decide it for me, esp since I have a small household.

Good video. I’m kind of curios about the limitations of air frying, not being able to separate different dishes. Mainly using one that has racks. I’m going to give this some serious thought.😊
I used this once and it was great. Now I try to use it and the display is stuck on “lid open”. Obviously, it’s not open. I’ve unplugged it, took it apart and back together, held the knob down. It’s always on “lid open” any ideas?

Just got this and after first use the oder of burning plastic or oven cleaner smell is horrible!! I washed it and ran it a few times outside and still smells. I font understand

I just got mine and used it for the first time. The food tasted great but there is a burnt plastic odor. Did it happen to yours? How can you get rid of the plastic smell?
yeah give the pans a good wash and run it on high for a bit then clean it again. mine had a little but it goes away after you use it.
