- This is a very scale Suzuki Jimny RC model by WPL. The binding was less after this run so hopefully I can see what wore out. More mods and vids to come on this leafspring rig.

I pre-ordered mine and got an email saying that they ran out of stock and would give me the new color for waiting so long and should ship mid December. They have great customer service and I had no problem waiting a little longer meanwhile all the upgrades arrived like metal axles, 2 speed trans, metal gear servo, wheel weights and I already had a V3 receiver as I have now built 8 WPL's, mostly the military trucks. Love your videos, been subscribed for a few years now and quite frankly the one that really convinced me that WPL's were good, just have to know how to build them. Great work keep it up!
Awesome! Glad your enjoying your WPLs as much as I do. Thanks for being a part of the RTR crew all these years! Building these and getting them dialed is part of the fun with these for sure.
Should’ve ordered off amazing got mine right away
I sheared the pinion on my 1/16 scale WPL, bouncing like that. If it was a 1:1 scale Jimney, it probably would have broken something in the driveline too.
Thanks for pulling it apart to see all the detail!😊
glad you appreciated it.
Had the same problem with the binding with one of my wpls too. It turned out to be a bad motor. It took me awhile to figure it out.
You still have the best filming location! It always looks scale and today it is a 1/10 scale rock trail...that lovely overcast sky (no long shadows) didn't hurt anything either.
Its a fun spot for sure. I'm glad you enjoyed it as much as I enjoy taking you guys along with me on my trail runs!
Nice video💪
I did my unboxing video and in some days I'll do some upgrades 👌
If i could remember someone said that if you flip the pumpkin to the other side it loses all the binds because the original install has that close shaft pinion diff to the main diffrential
I will need to try this out when I install metal axles and a 2 speed in here.
It's the drive shafts binding they are completely out of faze
The 3 available colors for the initial WPL-Japan offerings were a sand, olive green and urban gray BUT apparently those are *exclusive * colors and the rest of the world gets basic white. I think a baby blue color for us is coming too, but the white is a good basis for a rattle can paint job.
I'm probably gonna try and record and post a plastidip paintjob video. Just deciding what color to get.
Nice RC Bro 😍
Thanks ✌
Que legal amigo David aquanto tempo vídeo wpl não canso de assistir os seus vídeos wpls c34 e a f45.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏💪💪💪💪💪
Hate that they didn't give the faceted lens treatment to the tail lights and front turn signals the same way the headlights have a faceted lens. A careful fella could gently score the inside of the lens, horizontally & vertically with an X-Acto knife or panel line scraper and a straight edge. Then paint the lenses with clear red and clear amber
Superbe vidéo 👍
Thank you I appreciate it!
I really like the chassis on it, is the wheelbase the same as an mn99? If it is might have to body swap one
I haven't checked it that works. I might have to try it out when I get back home after the holidays.
I'm definitely not a fan of WPL, but I enjoyed the review, thanks 👍
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for stopping by!
Is it available in left hand drive ?
The real thing is! This RC unfortunately no.
Seems like it would easily toppled, where would you put a counterweight and how heavy should it be?
this model does like to tip over randomly. I would put the WPL wheel weights and metal axles upgrades. That should help add weight down low and help from rolling too much.
Nice car, way better than c24
definitely different.
Gearbox doesnt sound too heathy…
Pack it full of grease and more break-in might help...
Im with you on that. Definitely a sound going on in there.
Edwardrc posted the problems and fixes for the jimny.
Put thos tires on the c24
definitely!
Thats not 1/10 scale at all.
I'm not sure the actual scale but if your referring to it not being the size of a standard scx10 or trx4 then it definitely isn't that size. But in actual scale it's probably close to the 1/10 they claim. The Jimney in real life are tiny compared to a Bronco or 4runner.
They are bang on 1/10 scale
