I've been looking for this game for YEARS, I couldn't remember the name of it for the life of me. Glad I came across this video -- I'll have to download this for PCSX2.
The race positions in this game are just like Le Mans' in different classes, including American Le Mans Series.
This game have better lmp900 physics than modern games. Great memories anyway

It was so weird I was watching an old American Le Mans series race and started recognizing the cars, rediscovered TIR almost 20 years later purely on accident.

In Extreme difficulty it's 25 laps for all 3 categories, somehow I could unlock a bonus team in career mode, but I don't know how I did it, if somebody knows how, could leave a comment please?

I would run this sitting in the car not driving it from outside. It's not total immersion if you're doing that.
If I want to race outside the car, I run my RC on-road circuit 1/8 i.c. car. Currently a Serpent 988 with OS R2103 engine..
