Wow. I'm familiar with comping from other DAWs, but the implementation in Bitwig looks like a lot of fun! I look forward to slicing and dicing with this. The video explains it so well!

This was great.. I didn't know about the arrow and alt key functions. Very handy. I use this all the time for vocal comping. And dude, you a rad guitar player :)

Thanks John, yeah is really useful. Imagine what we could do with MIDI comping, is coming....I guess. Thanks for the guitar comment, been a "bluesman" for 25 years. I am a bit rusty, I wish had more time to practice more.

Another great video, thank you! I have one question though: is it possible to listen to the different takes individually *without* actually selecting them? Kind of like previewing a change you are about to make? I think Cubase has a feature where you get a solo button on the comping tracks so you can try things out before you actually apply them, and I was wondering if Bitwig has anything similar.

Thank you, I really need to try to use take with loops as it looks like a more visual / easy approach to mangle them or combine multiple into one as compared to traditional editing. I admit I never used comping as I did not come to my mind to use it this way and I usually don’t work with audio recording.

How did you import the drum and bass samples? I got them playing from SampleTank4 but I can’t get them to recorded in Bitwig

I am rusty as hell, but thanks for noticing. Love those 6 strings, since I was a 10 years old kid, thanks for the comment :)
