What 18” Winter tires do you recommend?
Lovely Scenery. Why does the car seem to be rocking side to side around the 4.00 mark? Thanks.
Thank you! The road, although without holes, was uneven. So the camera wobbled back and forth from gravity.
@@NRJDrive Ah ok, thanks for the reply, I thought it was the suspension not being very good, but good to know it was just the camera 👍🏽😂.
How was the Performance of the awd-i System ? Does it help much ? Because the rear-axe has only 5.3 HP
For sure, it is not a usual awd car.
Rear being activated only at slippery conditions, so 99% of time only front axle used.
But still you can force rear axle being used all the time by selecting Trail mode.
Between Eco and Fast mode there's also a Power mode, but overall it's still not that powerful as you may expect.
@@NRJDrive OK thank you, But it is still enough for snowy conditions ?
@@Danny-up4jm To get out of a snowdrift in the parking lot i'm sure yes (additional wheels always help if you stuck), but definitely not for off-road driving.
I wonder if the rear electric motor torque is multiplied with the differential gearing or if its direct drive to the axles. Because at lower speeds it may be enough to push the car if the front wheels are slipping. If i can confirm this i would probably buy one as it does strike a nice balance with the fuel economy etc.
Nice ride! What tyres do you have?
Thanks! These ones are just regular Nokian lamellar winter tires without spikes, in our conditions winter tires are obligatory from 1 december to 1 march, so we change tires twice a year.
Noisy, isn't it?
I got Toyota's point with this car but gosh this AWD system is a big fat lie. Not that many buyers will off road this anyways... :D
Also the design is horrible.
The regular Yaris was spot on, such a cool looking lil car.
It's true that in most cases awd is only on paper, for me the biggest disappointment was the interior, it looks and feels solid, but still old fashioned for that price.
@@NRJDrive Yeah the specked up version are really expensive for a Yaris. Just did a configuration at Toyota Hungary's website. The highest trim with a couple of extras almost cost the same as the GR Yaris base version :DDD Are you fucking kidding me?
Anyways, still the sheeps will buy it. Smh.
It’s nice that not everybody agrees or thinks the same….congratulations on being in the small minority!
There is a video showing it off road and it looks pretty decent for steep hills with mud, snow, gravel situations. Although it is press material.
you think that AWD system its only for offroad ??? mistake , i buy awd cars for safety on the slipper road
its so noisy !
