For those wondering why so much damage is being done, it's because of the Purity perk you get in NG+ which massively increases damage done and taken as well as the Fortitude perk which increases lightsaber damage.

Yeah but fortitudes buff isn’t that amazing if you try it in the game and you will see that the buff isn’t that much it’s like 15% more on health bars. But that new game plus perk is the one that changes everything basically one shots almost everything if you get pass their defense.
@@Xyrm - He does have the two dots in those locations. They're also red, which most likely indicates this is NG+.

In terms of how a lightsaber would actually function, this is about as accurate is it would be. Almost anything would be insta killed.
This would be some sort of a April 1st thing. Weapons doing their actual damage instead of it being shrugged off 120 times.

I like that Cal having a red saber can make sense sort of, since Cere took Trilla's saber. Also, white, he could remove the bleeding from the crystal as well
I was thinkin the same thing when it came to the red and white crystals for cal. Glad I’m not the only one.
Makes sense too. Cere has a blue one so she didn't make hers out of Trilla's.
Also orange since he's becoming more of a dark jedi by the end of the game. Using dark side abilities for good.
My head canon for the white lightsaber I game is what you said about trilla’s crystal, about it being healed and turning white

I love how after you beat the game and play new game + i literally goes from a starwars jedi game to a jedi stimulator and cal goes being a weak ass jedi taking multiple swing to kill another lightsaber user to becomeing and absolute monster in powr almost as strong as vader
If cal really one shorted people like dagan Gera he could probably beat Vader but that's just gameplay
I actually prefer it when enemies take multiple hits honestly. I get to engage with their attack patterns more until I'm basically parrying them into oblivion.
Edit: I might just use this perk build for the double Rancor fight though. 😨

The perk is fun, but you just steamroll every "hard" encounter. It gets kind of old. The only challenge this adds is when you have to fight like 6+ elite enemies that all switch between ranged, unblockable and melee attacks.
Right? This is why realistic light sabers in movie light sabers can’t working video games because there’s no challenge really
@@ashigaramii__ they can, but there needs to be emphasis on saber accuracy and saber skills. Past games have done it before to an extent, and they were very good.
Saber combat is about preventing any oncoming attacks with being able to get a strike or two in. Saber attacks would have to be simulated as well, or else you would get kills just for scratching them.

Used these perks right after I got into NG+, forgot to block the first blaster shot of some random droid. Wasnt that much fun xD
I know the Force abilities are great in these games, but nothing beats slinging around a stormtrooper on TFU.

The funniest thing about this video is that Cal will one hit the boss and then the cutscene the characters will be all nonchalant like he ain’t just delete the guys life.
I always say to myself at the last Dagan fight, that I give props to the writing in this game. Dagan knew Bode was force-sensitive, but dismisses it quickly and underestimates him in helping Cal. And yet, first play-through I easily missed it. Such a good game.

While levelling up go to the skill tree force and in upper right corner there will be a skill parry push or smth like that
Force push parry skill. Works on almost everything. Pretty great, but inconsistent in my experience.

Forcing your opponent to parry you and attack so you can parry back their combos made almost every fight a joke.

Yeah I haven’t tried it yet, but this video makes me less excited and a bit disappointed. I thought it would be a fun challenge, but it seems really unbalanced and boring. I’ll have to try it myself to be certain. I was hoping it would be more like double or triple damage increase so that you could take anyone out much quicker, but you’d have to be mistake free.
