Same here! Good time of the year to nab some deciduous trees as barerooted plants too - to save a few dollars!

A really wonderful use of foliage colour and texture that will persist throughout the year in the lower shrubs and bushes, even when the upper canopy is gone. So many shades of green must make the whole garden feel cool and inviting in the summer too, before the autumn colours come out. I always think including plants with interesting little flowers you have to look for in secret places adds to the magical, otherworldly feel of a garden and inspires imagination and curiosity in young kids and not-so-young kids alike. A really beautiful garden!

This is a beautiful full garden with so many ideas! I loved it. Are you able to tell me the plant name in a hedged circle surrounding the sculpture in the backyard at 4.24 mins approx.? I thought it may be a variegated Abelia?? Thank you for sharing this wonderful place!
