Caliban HESH = 187mm 860 damage with a 20 sec reload - .474 Dispersion 1747 AP DPM, GSOR 1008 HESH = 187mm 440 damage x2 with a reload of 14.5 and 2.5 seconds between shells, .335 Dispersion 2473 AP DPM
Other than hitpoints I think we can see a clearly better performer. As if Stat tracking sites haven't shown which is objectively stronger.
But Caliban does look like nuts fun at times- truly a Tier 8 KV-2 or 183.
Yeh it really feels like a doom stick at times, but other than looks the caliban is way less achievable in terms of stats, their guns are very similar in terms of their total alpha damage however which is why I think they are pretty similar tanks not only by the way they look.

260 AP pen on GSOR cuts better than 271mm APCR (avg Tier 8 heavy prem APCR) against angles - and is better than even 290mm HEAT against most things - the avg HEAT pen for tier 8 heavies.
Also this is an even BIGGER issue for Caliban, only 229 AP and 187 HESH and no accuracy.
That standard AP gives me NO issue cutting thru Tiger 2 Upper Plate even, E75 lower plate is no problem!
I mean a GOOD tank like the T54E2 has 260mm base APCR for Premium - 271 with cally.
Very true man the shell normalisation can be nuts and apcr just sucks

gsor has way better he shell velocity too, was one of the reasons I bought it
Overall the Gsors gun is a lot better in every way besides alpha
Forever prefer gsor over caliban, would also rather play smasher over caliban for more accuracy and pen on heat shells
Yeh definitely man, while the Caribana is fun when you actually hit your shots, the Gsor will most likely always hit its shells.
Caliban camo is trash, paper armor, long reload then Gsor
Pretty much. However, it is still fun hitting guys for 900 in one shot at tier 8
imo caliban is just a TD trying to be a heavy
Has 0 armor so it’s definitely not your generic heavy.
