It’s driving me nuts to a point where I take week breaks off from when the game is full of cancerous teammates who do nothing to help, i had this happen too often, i either could be impatient but at the same time I tend to rage at the players who do nothing to help, like a leopard 1 who kept saying he was lagging but it’s so hard to play with a player who is lagging badly
The game’s MM sucks, big time. WG needs to FIX this problem: unbalanced teams, nubs with premium tanks, brain dead teammates, etc etc etc. Now that Tank Company has arrived, maybe, just maybe they are forced into making good changes and not just adding “bells and whistles” that should come after the most important stuff. We can just wish 🙏🏼

You should not be allowed to buy a tank in a tier you haven't unlocked in the tech tree. They won't do it though because it would mean less money for them. I also think they should make a tech tree only battle. It would be nice once in a while to play a match without all those smashers and annihilators and such.
They could get around that by allowing people to BUY them, but in order to PLAY them, they need to have at least 1 tank in the tier's tech tree unlocked. That said, WG makes it far too easy to grind up to tier 10. All these game modes, boosters and such allow all the noobs to buy their way to ten instead of earning it.
This is not the problem. Actually not everyone can reach mommy’s credit card. Those that buy most probably think about it before buying. A lot of these bad players are also ones that researched higher tech tree tanks. The problem is it’s not hard for those bad players to reach higher tiers.
These types of videos (meadsy complaining about not perfect world) are my favourite ones. There could be so many reasons for underperformers: kids playing, or somebody is training bots. On my account (I'm not a great performer) sometimes wife does do a battle or two, and I can imagine how frustrated teammates may be if they look at her gameplay lol.
One thing I don't think people pay close enough attention to when looking at win rate, average damage, etc, is what type of tanks the person plays the most. Even then Win rate is largely team development . For example. If a person mostly plays light/mediums their stats may not truly reflect how good of a player they are. Like it or not, If running a light/medium tank properly by scouting it's very easy to find yourself in a tough spot where you bleed severely or die. This is especially true if the instant you light up the enemy your heavies hide. I don't care how good of a player you are you can't always and often can't get out of that spot.. And to anyone that wants to argue saying you should know where the enemy is, that's the purpose of spotting. If you want to argue should be more careful positioning, there isn't always a good place to position yourself when scouting It's much easier to have better personal stats with armor and hiding at the back of the map in a TD, nobody can convince me otherwise..
I think a good player would look at the best spot for spotting without getting clipped or deleted. There's a difference between spotting on a hill and spotting just enough for your view port to show without showing your entire tank. Technique matters and pro players do this well.
You can still do well while scouting, while I agree its easier to die when scouting in a dangerous position, if you do play it right and use the often superior mobility to bleed very little, you can do an influential role and get out damage for the team too. I do still agree with the point about being able to do better in a tank that doesn't worry about bleeding lots of health and a camping tank can often do more damage but not be very influential when you rely on it.
As an E-100 enjoyer, it breaks my heart when people don't play the E-100 correct/when they are so trash in it. Makes the tank look more trash than it really is.
It's the camping at the back of the map where you literally can't shoot anyone, lights not spotting and your whole team being basically blind because of it and constant toxicity for no reason that's the main problem. People also don't know that HE shells exist and don't pick up low hp tanks. They also go the wrong way and die 1v7 (and then proceed to tell everyone they're noobs). This game genuinely made me lose hope in humanity because there are so many absolutely stupid people in the game.
For me it's the td which I have constantly having problems with.. As a light player I always do my role spotting and many a times carrying my team ass but when I turned around basically no td was there to back me up. They either camp the FK out of the entire game or yolo and die. And I died many times because enemy td rushed at me
@@KingstonTiger I never want to spot at all anymore, because the second you do, EVERY single other play suddenly turns into a td. They then expect you to hold off 7 reds in a light, as they relax and try to farm damage.
That kind of matchmaking happens around 6 am when there are very few players on the server. It does not happen at more popular times of the day. But you can still get a lot of players like that e100. Tbh i would just put the really bad players that played a lot of games together with the noobs. They are hopeless cases anyways so let them have fun playing against each other.
My stats look awful tbh. But that is because for 2 years years I've been playing ratings battles ( I've only been playing for 3 years ). This is because you do get ( slightly ) better teams in ratings ( not that I'm the best player out there. Sort of average really ), and also because I don't really care what my stats look like. I do pop into a PUB game just to see if things have improved, but they haven't. The teams still seem to die around me. My favourite one was where my whole team got taken outt in literally 2 minutes. I was in an AT15A, and the sight of seven tanks all heading towards me made me laugh so much, I couldn't do much. I still ddid top damage though, which is rather sad when you think about it lol.
Ratings are just the same.. won 1 in 13 ratings yesterday… teams are terrible ( but still managed plus points in 8 of those battles as best performance in losing team )
I have 5 tier 10s and hardly play them, except for special game modes. At 75% training they are tough to play, and I’m too busy playing lower tiers and grinding other lines.
I play EU server and last 2 months its got worse. Tier 10 battles and the players got no idea how to play the different maps. Its so frustrating when your getting 3k dmg in these battles and none of your team get above 1k dmg, plus dies in 30 seconds. Lately, I,ve felt most of the experienced players have left the game, and it seems we have alot of noobs now.

I play in the Asian Server and got really unlucky with the Matching.... My 61% win rate tumbled into 58.30% because I had consecutive games wherein three or four team mates do less than 100 damage in a Tier 8 and Tier 9 battle... *I just gave up for the win rate at that point play as is.*

You guys don’t understand that this problem is because they can easily reach tier VII-VIII without premiums anyway. Players that go to higher tiers by buying gold/premium is secondary problem.
when i first started playing about 3 years ago i got the tier 10 VK P. not having played a single tier 8-9 game and with only 4 premium around tier 5-6 i knew it was a bad idea to play this tank on the regular because finding out how to play it would cost more matches than i was cool with. So i sold it because i didnt want to RUIN OTHER PEOPLES GAMES. nice 7500 gold for it tho, bought me more premium tanks.months later with PLENTY of tier 8 premiums because LUCKY ME with the crates that have all the tanks i guess. point is yes you could get a high tier tank, BUT CAN YOU PLAY HIGH TIER. This sucks, and i dont know why WG does not care more. especially now!
Yeah, I wish more people had the attitude that playing higher tier when they are not ready for it is ruining games for others and that's not acceptable. That's why I was VERY slow about progressing up the tiers. I didn't want to be the jerk that didn't know what he was doing. I wish more people had that consideration, but instead we need to figure out ways to keep them from playing tiers they are clearly not ready for.
Wargaming made this situation and these kind of people for purpose. For long time WG was pushing players to X tier (X premiums and collectibles, x5/x7 boosters, destroyed low tiers and so on) and now we have what we have. Game is barely playable on X tier and it's getting only worse.
they simply shouldn't sell high tier tanks to people that haven't gotten a vehicle of that tier legit. Will that happen? no, because WG would make less money
I think that wargaming should add the mechanic that exists in war thunder, like you can only unlock a tier X if u have 5 tier IX, you can only unlock a tier IX if you have 5 tier VIII and so it continues (and they cant be premium vehicles)
Problem is that WG has already lost too many experienced players who got fed up with their stupid matchmaking so to keep the game going they need to let noobs flood high tiers which ruins the game even further
Good point Meadsy! I have a bunch of tanks and yea tier 9/10 whatever. I don’t play tier 9/10 hardly ever because I’m not that good. I have just reached over 5000 battles. Tier eight is great and I enjoy playing that tier but that depends on how I’m playing! Some days I’m on point and other days not so much. I stay in lower tiers because that’s where I belong. I like to call them "tier skippers" as it usually refers to some people who buy premium/collector tanks just to skip tiers and go directly to the higher tier ones with no prior skills at all.
Too late now but from the start the grind should never have been about XP go through the tree. It should have been to get out of tier 1 you need to play 100 games in that tank, tier 2 200 and so on and so forth. Yeah, this grind fest would have cause a lot of people to quit .... but those left would at least understand something like capping can win a match, especially in supremacy ..... I swear there are thousands of players both who don't grasp this ..... I've seen so many games fucked up by this simple thing.

When purchasing a tank for the first time, there should be an in-game tutorial mission to show where to shoot on different enemies, how to turn the turret, which ammunition to use when and so on and so forth. Change my mind. On the other hand, I mastered the VK 100 within the first battles. It was my first tier VIII tank! So, playing this game depends a little bit on luck, seen as there is the bad matchmaker!
I'm old and slow, in 1x1's the reaction time vs younglings is appalling. However overall I play for fun. Take my birthday tanks out on events to not blow people's wr. 8 years playing still stupid but still trying.
That's why DezGamez says that selling tier 10 premium for direct purchase is bad. People can just spam their money to buy the highest tier premium and make the game experience worse, because they have no clue what to do in the game and not played enough game in low tier to learn something because they skip the learning tier (5-9). I got the same issue yesterday, a player using Super Conqueror throwing off the game, what it should be an easy win became a draw because he was chickening around and never help the team, he was the only one with full HP, me and other TD are super low in HP. I met him 3 times, the other 2 games are lost.
This is why I don’t play much anymore. Too many Tier X premiums, nerfing low tiers, massive free XP in crates, XP boosters, grinding tanks in alternative game modes, etc. You can literally grind an entire line without playing one real battle and without hurting your stats. It’s ridiculous and ruining the game.
There should be some skill involved with advancing tiers. For example, you shouldn't be able to progress to the next tier until you have at least 1 tank in the previous tier with greater than 50% win rate after like 100 battles. Obviously, you shouldn't be able to buy a tank if you haven't unlocked that tier already. When the game first started, the lower tiers were truly a proving ground and the higher tier games were always very competitive with the best players. That's not the case anymore. Terrible players exist at all tiers, especially at high tiers now. WG has done this themselves by trimming down the lower level tech trees and giving away free XP like candy.
Imagine trying to save credits in tier 10 by not using camo, firing 0 premium round, not buying the atleast 7/9 equipments and too afraid to share your hp to avoid repair costs thus camping as hard as you can and youre not even a TD. . You're not a clown, you're the entire entertainment industry.
When was the Time the Word NOOB became a term for "bad players"? I'm from the early Time of internet where Counter Strike or Return to Castle Wolfenstein Enemy Territory were the Shit. 1K ISDN was a luxury and if somebody at Home used the Phone the Internet was not usable. Back then we called NEW PLAYERS Newbies/Noobs. But not all Noobs are Bad Players. I think it's just a bad bad evolution of the Word in the Wrong Direction. Just my 2 Cents.

I remember the space trading game Elite, spent hours on that, I was brilliant at manual docking with the rotating space stations. Then it was on to the PC in the 1990’s and flight sims - Gunship, F-19 Stealth Fighter, Their Finest Hour: The Battle of Britain, Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe, and then the X-Wing and TIE Fighter space combat sims. I still play the last two occasionally, I like their gameplay better than Star Wars Squadrons.
Two days ago I had 10 battles in tier 10. With the exception of one match where I had less than 1k damage, all my battle were at or above 2k damage. Not great, but contributing to the team. Not only did I get losses on all but 3 battles, but I was top 3 damage (sometimes top) in all but one battle. Top damage! That's terrible. I don't know what's up with teams, but this is why I tend towards tier 8 - at least I can make big credits there. 🤷🏻♂️
Something just occurred to me, though. Some people could be playing on mobile who aren't used to it. I started playing on PC, so playing on mobile...I'm terrible (well, worse). Still, that would only account for some players, I guess. It comes down to the matchmaking, I think. I don't know what their algorithm is, but sometimes I'm baffled by the teams I've had. And to reiterate, I'm not very good.
I think rather than making it a requirement to play a certain amount of battles in general to play in tier 10, for every tier you wanna play in you gotta play a certain amount of battles in the previous tier first. That way noobs won’t be able to free xp their way to tier 10 so quickly
Just played a game on Mines (everyone's favorite map) in the ST-I. I was upper tier and had 4K damage and 2 kills. A moron used the T77 (37% winrate) and camped the entire game in the back. He was second highest damage at 1.6K. All other players were less than 700 each. I mean, tier 8/9? The matchmaking is horrible and WG doesn't really care to fix it either. As long as idiots spend money on tanks they have no clue how to play, things will only get worse. For players like me who want to actually grind tanks, forget it. it's hopeless when teams and players at all tiers just basically suck more than ever. I've given up on my winrate and just try to get the most damage and kills I can possibly get, knowing that my team will suck and will most likely lose anyway. Thanks WG for making a game the opposite of fun.
The game is a 'free for all' kind. So obviously 80%+ of the player are definitely lacking strategic thinking and situational awareness skills. I rarely play the 'regular' mode these days cos Rating mode judges better by performance. Yet the rating mode still needs lots of improvement. One of the big problem i think the game has is the training room that doesn't have a mode to battle alone against multiple AI players to learn better. The training rooms are just BS.
I have an idea to stop players moving up to fast my solution is a player can’t move up from a tier until they get an M badge in that tier and they can’t buy premium tank’s until they have a M badge in that tier that the premium tank is from
Novices aren't the problem; it's the rigged matchmaking that saw both the E100 and Super Conqueror on the same team. If the greens actually had 2 novices too (you should have checked), then all you can say is green best players were better than red best players and had eliminated or severely damaged enough red tanks for the Type 71 to clean up. WG are in a difficult situation of needing to earn money so making tank purchases too expensive ultimately hurts you and them. The answer is in the matchmaking. When this tier 10 mission (for Stalwart camo) started, I lost 22 of 24 battles in one session, including 15 in a row. Almost entirely due to rigged teams where not only were novices constantly on my team, so were novice platoons (an even greater scourge).
Noobs are NEW USERS!! Impossible to grind to tier 10 and still be a noob. If you mean BAD PLAYER then say it. Don't be an idiot because children copy and we'll end up with more idiots 🙄
I got mastery in SU-130 last night and was like wtf. Lol I'm not amazing and getting 4900damage was so easy. My team did nothing so I kept driving around and sniping but the enemies ignored me till they died. LOL
Just played earlier today in Asia Server, teams just literally rushed in front with no care at all dealing 600-1k damage at most, lost 4 times in a row before i decided to stop before my winrate sunk further...
Accelerated researching from monthly passes and a bad RNG algorithm has led to really skewed games with unbalanced teams. RNG sucks still - need WG to fix it
two words FREE MODES players can grind all the tanks they want all the way to tier 10 in free modes that are not counted in stats. Good players will use it to learn a tank but bad ones will just 'drive forward, Mash fire button' all the way to tier 10 and learn nothing.
In all tiers you have inexperienced players doing nothing for the team, and usually it's on a weekend or something like that because the younger, worse players are spending parents money to buy a premium tank and effectively reverse seal clubbing because school is off, that's why I take long breaks during holidays as playing with so many shitty players just ruins the game. I don't mind if you're trying to do something to build on your skill, that's fine, but the issue occurs when you have about 10-20k games with a 40% winrate and having like 5k games in a smasher.
I remember half a year ago when I was a noob in December and I saw a Yarnhub vid on a wows pc event with Arnie and I decided to go play wotb again and I saw the Strv K and dumped 30 dollars on it and I played tier ten and did horrible in it and now I do so much better Some time ago I was in the Strv K Konung and got in a 1v6 situation and 5 of them were low hp and there was a e5 noob that kept shooting my mantlet after I killed all the other semi low hp opponents and he kept bouncing my mantlet and I just kept hitting his turret with gold lol
I don't think WG cares much about the quality of players or gameplay in the upper tiers, else they wouldn't have now made it so easy for inexperienced players to grind up the tech tree. Maybe WG think they can flog more $premium tanks.
I had a leopard who thought he's an EBR in normal WoT, rushed into the enemy base, spotted all of them, then died in 3 seconds....like, WTF?? I would fix it with : less than 50% WR? Ahahaha, remain under T9, and can go further only in event gamemodes.

Yes, Update 5.5 ruined the gameplay of Blitz by pushing new players up the tiers a lot faster. Wargaming did it to make the game more popular, many players were put off by the formerly long grind to Tier 10 and quit. Every new player wants a big Tier 10 as quickly as possible. Wargaming selling Tier 10 tanks as premium and collector vehicles was really bad for the gameplay. That allowed players with Tier 2 skill level into Tier 10 games. But WG don't care, Blitz is just a cash cow for it.
Some people don't take the game seriously at all and, for all we know, they may be chatting with someone or walking their dog while they half-heartedly play. Same reason they go afk in the middle of a game. Those are the pitfalls of a mobile game and players that don't care.
I often get better teams in lower tiers because some think once they reach tier 10 they have 'won the game already' or that all tier tanks are invulnerable. At lower tiers they still want to win.
I used to be young and absolute trash, I mean Tier 9 Avg dmg 600. I know. But I took a two year break and now I’m better, and my average damage is on its way to 1,000, and my winrate is almost back up another whole percent. Slowly but steadily I’m getting there.
The problem with tier X match that sometimes it full by the player who only play for like 1 week. Since i was meet someone who so noob when playing with obj.260, and then when i see his stats he only have 1205 battles that which is pretty dumb. Since i need like 9500 battles to get tier X
Do I need to watch a video to tell me all this ? I am one of those nubs, having played for two months. When I struggle in the game, there is no shortage of people complaining about my inability, but absolutely no help from anyone in improving my performance. I have trying to learn "how to play the game" but there is a wide disconnect between someone in my situation and experienced players that actually skilled in bringing less experienced players up to their level. So, if in your opinion I should not be able to play tier X, at what level would it be acceptible to play, or should I just quit the game entirely because my plight is hopeless ? I can tell you right now that's not going to happen, but I just want to see what the thinking is here.
JUST CHECKED that player you highlighted, it's not been on for over 30 days. I, like you get frustrated by very bad players and afks, is it right to name and shame them? Perhaps only shame them when they deliberately try to ruin the game? This highlighted person may be young, have learning difficulties, getting on in age etc etc. Totally agree with other players views about being allowed to buy tier 10 tanks especially if you're only up to tier 8 on the tech tree. Name the blockers, spammers, trolls etc.
I hate someone who literally buys a Premium tank without learning how to use it, man WG need to make a thing like block you from playing a Prem tank before you owning a tier 9 or tier 8
There are now clans that actually compete to have the lowest win rate. They purposely throw games and want to lose. I kinda get it to be honest...because it's virtually impossible to improve your win rate these days. When was the last time you got a nice string of 10 wins? Never! Better chance of winning to lottery.
I normally play on Asia server (6 years 84000 battles). I am in UK taking my daughter to uni so I started a new EU server account. After 67 battles I was encouraged to play in ratings and right from the start I could buy t22.
hi guys, I'm a relatively new player and I was wondering if there is an easy way to understand the parts of your tank that can bounce off enemy bullets. I know that they change based on where the enemy is shooting you and on how are you positioned in relation to them, but I'm having a hard time figuring that out. Could you give me some advice? (if there's any, sorry for my broken english)
Well in Blitz you have the advantage that you can actually see the red parts (where it will not penetrate) when you zoom in. So you can learn this by simply playing and facing enemy tanks. Where on which tank you can penetrate without or with gold shells is also important to know in higher tiers. You can also check armor stats on whichever tank you interested in the game. You can see number. Or for more detailed study you can visit BLITZHANGAR.COM 🙂
There is good youtube videos on it, the term to look for is "angling". But in case you are missing the very basics (as I did for quite a bit at the start): The way this red/black overlay is on tanks when you are zooming in shows you whether you will hit or bounce. If its coloured red it will bounce. From that you should also figure out how to hide your own tank
I thinki have a idea to solve the noob issue in higher tier tanks or just in game. Expend the maps, make them a lil bigger. Means longer battles, means u need to do better to stay alive, or you'll be dead longer during the map cycle. Or map increase map size at higher tiers.. I feel this would weed them out or make them better. Think noobs see this as small maps and blitz in the title and play this as a arcade game
bigger maps means they will just have more places to run and hide while everyone else fights or it will have no effect because they run to enemy spawn anyway.
This happen to me they bounce me 10 or 11 times 4 of them is 0 damage while im tier 9 and there 10 and some how they are stupid to hit me my turret is looking left and still not hit me
Just do what War Thunder does and make people research a certain number of x tier vehicles before you can research the next tier. Make people unlock, say, 3 T8s before they can get a T9, etc. With how easy it is to get XP nowadays, that shouldn't be too burdensome.
wg def needs to make it that you have to have x amount of battles or win % or something to stop these noobs , plus it has been worse last few days since they did the small event to win 30 battles to get e100 camo , omg its bad
It’s sad when you can look at your teams build and know your going to lose. I’ve never played above 8 and very rarely 8. The real problem is the mix of players, those in competition and those just wanting to play a tank game for fun. Not a good mix at all and good players deserve to be pissed off. Myself I would just as well play with noobs or cannon trash than screw up games for the good players. It all boils down to making money in the end.

These types of videos (meadsy complaining about not perfect world) are my favourite ones. There could be so many reasons for underperformers: kids playing, or somebody is training bots. On my account (I'm not a great performer) sometimes wife does do a battle or two, and I can imagine how frustrated teammates may be if they look at her gameplay lol.
One thing I don't think people pay close enough attention to when looking at win rate, average damage, etc, is what type of tanks the person plays the most. Even then Win rate is largely team development .
For example. If a person mostly plays light/mediums their stats may not truly reflect how good of a player they are. Like it or not, If running a light/medium tank properly by scouting it's very easy to find yourself in a tough spot where you bleed severely or die. This is especially true if the instant you light up the enemy your heavies hide. I don't care how good of a player you are you can't always and often can't get out of that spot.. And to anyone that wants to argue saying you should know where the enemy is, that's the purpose of spotting. If you want to argue should be more careful positioning, there isn't always a good place to position yourself when scouting
It's much easier to have better personal stats with armor and hiding at the back of the map in a TD, nobody can convince me otherwise..
I think a good player would look at the best spot for spotting without getting clipped or deleted. There's a difference between spotting on a hill and spotting just enough for your view port to show without showing your entire tank. Technique matters and pro players do this well.
You can still do well while scouting, while I agree its easier to die when scouting in a dangerous position, if you do play it right and use the often superior mobility to bleed very little, you can do an influential role and get out damage for the team too. I do still agree with the point about being able to do better in a tank that doesn't worry about bleeding lots of health and a camping tank can often do more damage but not be very influential when you rely on it.
As an E-100 enjoyer, it breaks my heart when people don't play the E-100 correct/when they are so trash in it. Makes the tank look more trash than it really is.

It's the camping at the back of the map where you literally can't shoot anyone, lights not spotting and your whole team being basically blind because of it and constant toxicity for no reason that's the main problem. People also don't know that HE shells exist and don't pick up low hp tanks. They also go the wrong way and die 1v7 (and then proceed to tell everyone they're noobs). This game genuinely made me lose hope in humanity because there are so many absolutely stupid people in the game.
For me it's the td which I have constantly having problems with.. As a light player I always do my role spotting and many a times carrying my team ass but when I turned around basically no td was there to back me up. They either camp the FK out of the entire game or yolo and die. And I died many times because enemy td rushed at me

That kind of matchmaking happens around 6 am when there are very few players on the server. It does not happen at more popular times of the day. But you can still get a lot of players like that e100. Tbh i would just put the really bad players that played a lot of games together with the noobs. They are hopeless cases anyways so let them have fun playing against each other.
My stats look awful tbh. But that is because for 2 years years I've been playing ratings battles ( I've only been playing for 3 years ). This is because you do get ( slightly ) better teams in ratings ( not that I'm the best player out there. Sort of average really ), and also because I don't really care what my stats look like. I do pop into a PUB game just to see if things have improved, but they haven't. The teams still seem to die around me. My favourite one was where my whole team got taken outt in literally 2 minutes. I was in an AT15A, and the sight of seven tanks all heading towards me made me laugh so much, I couldn't do much. I still ddid top damage though, which is rather sad when you think about it lol.
Ratings are just the same.. won 1 in 13 ratings yesterday… teams are terrible ( but still managed plus points in 8 of those battles as best performance in losing team )
I have 5 tier 10s and hardly play them, except for special game modes. At 75% training they are tough to play, and I’m too busy playing lower tiers and grinding other lines.
I play EU server and last 2 months its got worse. Tier 10 battles and the players got no idea how to play the different maps. Its so frustrating when your getting 3k dmg in these battles and none of your team get above 1k dmg, plus dies in 30 seconds. Lately, I,ve felt most of the experienced players have left the game, and it seems we have alot of noobs now.
They should put a battle count like you need to have 5k battles to play tier 10.

I play in the Asian Server and got really unlucky with the Matching....
My 61% win rate tumbled into 58.30% because I had consecutive games wherein three or four team mates do less than 100 damage in a Tier 8 and Tier 9 battle...
*I just gave up for the win rate at that point play as is.*

when i first started playing about 3 years ago i got the tier 10 VK P. not having played a single tier 8-9 game and with only 4 premium around tier 5-6 i knew it was a bad idea to play this tank on the regular because finding out how to play it would cost more matches than i was cool with. So i sold it because i didnt want to RUIN OTHER PEOPLES GAMES. nice 7500 gold for it tho, bought me more premium tanks.months later with PLENTY of tier 8 premiums because LUCKY ME with the crates that have all the tanks i guess. point is yes you could get a high tier tank, BUT CAN YOU PLAY HIGH TIER. This sucks, and i dont know why WG does not care more. especially now!
Yeah, I wish more people had the attitude that playing higher tier when they are not ready for it is ruining games for others and that's not acceptable. That's why I was VERY slow about progressing up the tiers. I didn't want to be the jerk that didn't know what he was doing. I wish more people had that consideration, but instead we need to figure out ways to keep them from playing tiers they are clearly not ready for.
Wargaming made this situation and these kind of people for purpose. For long time WG was pushing players to X tier (X premiums and collectibles, x5/x7 boosters, destroyed low tiers and so on) and now we have what we have. Game is barely playable on X tier and it's getting only worse.

I think that wargaming should add the mechanic that exists in war thunder, like you can only unlock a tier X if u have 5 tier IX, you can only unlock a tier IX if you have 5 tier VIII and so it continues (and they cant be premium vehicles)
Problem is that WG has already lost too many experienced players who got fed up with their stupid matchmaking so to keep the game going they need to let noobs flood high tiers which ruins the game even further

Good point Meadsy! I have a bunch of tanks and yea tier 9/10 whatever. I don’t play tier 9/10 hardly ever because I’m not that good. I have just reached over 5000 battles. Tier eight is great and I enjoy playing that tier but that depends on how I’m playing! Some days I’m on point and other days not so much. I stay in lower tiers because that’s where I belong. I like to call them "tier skippers" as it usually refers to some people who buy premium/collector tanks just to skip tiers and go directly to the higher tier ones with no prior skills at all.

Too late now but from the start the grind should never have been about XP go through the tree. It should have been to get out of tier 1 you need to play 100 games in that tank, tier 2 200 and so on and so forth. Yeah, this grind fest would have cause a lot of people to quit .... but those left would at least understand something like capping can win a match, especially in supremacy ..... I swear there are thousands of players both who don't grasp this ..... I've seen so many games fucked up by this simple thing.

When purchasing a tank for the first time, there should be an in-game tutorial mission to show where to shoot on different enemies, how to turn the turret, which ammunition to use when and so on and so forth.

On the other hand, I mastered the VK 100 within the first battles. It was my first tier VIII tank! So, playing this game depends a little bit on luck, seen as there is the bad matchmaker!
I'm old and slow, in 1x1's the reaction time vs younglings is appalling. However overall I play for fun. Take my birthday tanks out on events to not blow people's wr. 8 years playing still stupid but still trying.

That's why DezGamez says that selling tier 10 premium for direct purchase is bad. People can just spam their money to buy the highest tier premium and make the game experience worse, because they have no clue what to do in the game and not played enough game in low tier to learn something because they skip the learning tier (5-9). I got the same issue yesterday, a player using Super Conqueror throwing off the game, what it should be an easy win became a draw because he was chickening around and never help the team, he was the only one with full HP, me and other TD are super low in HP. I met him 3 times, the other 2 games are lost.
This is why I don’t play much anymore. Too many Tier X premiums, nerfing low tiers, massive free XP in crates, XP boosters, grinding tanks in alternative game modes, etc. You can literally grind an entire line without playing one real battle and without hurting your stats. It’s ridiculous and ruining the game.
There should be some skill involved with advancing tiers. For example, you shouldn't be able to progress to the next tier until you have at least 1 tank in the previous tier with greater than 50% win rate after like 100 battles. Obviously, you shouldn't be able to buy a tank if you haven't unlocked that tier already.
When the game first started, the lower tiers were truly a proving ground and the higher tier games were always very competitive with the best players. That's not the case anymore. Terrible players exist at all tiers, especially at high tiers now. WG has done this themselves by trimming down the lower level tech trees and giving away free XP like candy.
Imagine trying to save credits in tier 10 by not using camo, firing 0 premium round, not buying the atleast 7/9 equipments and too afraid to share your hp to avoid repair costs thus camping as hard as you can and youre not even a TD.

I'm from the early Time of internet where Counter Strike or Return to Castle Wolfenstein Enemy Territory were the Shit. 1K ISDN was a luxury and if somebody at Home used the Phone the Internet was not usable. Back then we called NEW PLAYERS Newbies/Noobs. But not all Noobs are Bad Players. I think it's just a bad bad evolution of the Word in the Wrong Direction. Just my 2 Cents.

I remember the space trading game Elite, spent hours on that, I was brilliant at manual docking with the rotating space stations. Then it was on to the PC in the 1990’s and flight sims - Gunship, F-19 Stealth Fighter, Their Finest Hour: The Battle of Britain, Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe, and then the X-Wing and TIE Fighter space combat sims. I still play the last two occasionally, I like their gameplay better than Star Wars Squadrons.
Two days ago I had 10 battles in tier 10. With the exception of one match where I had less than 1k damage, all my battle were at or above 2k damage. Not great, but contributing to the team. Not only did I get losses on all but 3 battles, but I was top 3 damage (sometimes top) in all but one battle. Top damage! That's terrible. I don't know what's up with teams, but this is why I tend towards tier 8 - at least I can make big credits there. 🤷🏻♂️
Something just occurred to me, though. Some people could be playing on mobile who aren't used to it. I started playing on PC, so playing on mobile...I'm terrible (well, worse). Still, that would only account for some players, I guess.
It comes down to the matchmaking, I think. I don't know what their algorithm is, but sometimes I'm baffled by the teams I've had. And to reiterate, I'm not very good.
I think rather than making it a requirement to play a certain amount of battles in general to play in tier 10, for every tier you wanna play in you gotta play a certain amount of battles in the previous tier first. That way noobs won’t be able to free xp their way to tier 10 so quickly
Just played a game on Mines (everyone's favorite map) in the ST-I. I was upper tier and had 4K damage and 2 kills. A moron used the T77 (37% winrate) and camped the entire game in the back. He was second highest damage at 1.6K. All other players were less than 700 each. I mean, tier 8/9? The matchmaking is horrible and WG doesn't really care to fix it either. As long as idiots spend money on tanks they have no clue how to play, things will only get worse. For players like me who want to actually grind tanks, forget it. it's hopeless when teams and players at all tiers just basically suck more than ever. I've given up on my winrate and just try to get the most damage and kills I can possibly get, knowing that my team will suck and will most likely lose anyway. Thanks WG for making a game the opposite of fun.

The game is a 'free for all' kind. So obviously 80%+ of the player are definitely lacking strategic thinking and situational awareness skills. I rarely play the 'regular' mode these days cos Rating mode judges better by performance. Yet the rating mode still needs lots of improvement.
One of the big problem i think the game has is the training room that doesn't have a mode to battle alone against multiple AI players to learn better. The training rooms are just BS.
I have an idea to stop players moving up to fast my solution is a player can’t move up from a tier until they get an M badge in that tier and they can’t buy premium tank’s until they have a M badge in that tier that the premium tank is from

Novices aren't the problem; it's the rigged matchmaking that saw both the E100 and Super Conqueror on the same team. If the greens actually had 2 novices too (you should have checked), then all you can say is green best players were better than red best players and had eliminated or severely damaged enough red tanks for the Type 71 to clean up.
WG are in a difficult situation of needing to earn money so making tank purchases too expensive ultimately hurts you and them.
The answer is in the matchmaking. When this tier 10 mission (for Stalwart camo) started, I lost 22 of 24 battles in one session, including 15 in a row. Almost entirely due to rigged teams where not only were novices constantly on my team, so were novice platoons (an even greater scourge).

I got mastery in SU-130 last night and was like wtf. Lol I'm not amazing and getting 4900damage was so easy. My team did nothing so I kept driving around and sniping but the enemies ignored me till they died. LOL

Accelerated researching from monthly passes and a bad RNG algorithm has led to really skewed games with unbalanced teams. RNG sucks still - need WG to fix it
If they increase the xp to that amount to get a tier 10 they gotta reduce the price to purchase a tier 10
two words FREE MODES players can grind all the tanks they want all the way to tier 10 in free modes that are not counted in stats. Good players will use it to learn a tank but bad ones will just 'drive forward, Mash fire button' all the way to tier 10 and learn nothing.
In all tiers you have inexperienced players doing nothing for the team, and usually it's on a weekend or something like that because the younger, worse players are spending parents money to buy a premium tank and effectively reverse seal clubbing because school is off, that's why I take long breaks during holidays as playing with so many shitty players just ruins the game. I don't mind if you're trying to do something to build on your skill, that's fine, but the issue occurs when you have about 10-20k games with a 40% winrate and having like 5k games in a smasher.
I remember half a year ago when I was a noob in December and I saw a Yarnhub vid on a wows pc event with Arnie and I decided to go play wotb again and I saw the Strv K and dumped 30 dollars on it and I played tier ten and did horrible in it and now I do so much better
Some time ago I was in the Strv K Konung and got in a 1v6 situation and 5 of them were low hp and there was a e5 noob that kept shooting my mantlet after I killed all the other semi low hp opponents and he kept bouncing my mantlet and I just kept hitting his turret with gold lol

I don't think WG cares much about the quality of players or gameplay in the upper tiers, else they wouldn't have now made it so easy for inexperienced players to grind up the tech tree. Maybe WG think they can flog more $premium tanks.

Yes, Update 5.5 ruined the gameplay of Blitz by pushing new players up the tiers a lot faster. Wargaming did it to make the game more popular, many players were put off by the formerly long grind to Tier 10 and quit. Every new player wants a big Tier 10 as quickly as possible.
Wargaming selling Tier 10 tanks as premium and collector vehicles was really bad for the gameplay. That allowed players with Tier 2 skill level into Tier 10 games. But WG don't care, Blitz is just a cash cow for it.
Some just have terrible rng or the TF2 sydrome of never looking back and not helping their slower tanks

Some people don't take the game seriously at all and, for all we know, they may be chatting with someone or walking their dog while they half-heartedly play. Same reason they go afk in the middle of a game. Those are the pitfalls of a mobile game and players that don't care.

In the low tier tanks the damage was scored on bots and noobs. That's not the case in tier X.
I often get better teams in lower tiers because some think once they reach tier 10 they have 'won the game already' or that all tier tanks are invulnerable. At lower tiers they still want to win.
I hate the matching in as a lower tank. Its not much fun breaking tracks and skipping shells. Matching needs to be better like in this example.
They should have missions from tier 8 towards tier 10 for each tank
I used to be young and absolute trash, I mean Tier 9 Avg dmg 600. I know. But I took a two year break and now I’m better, and my average damage is on its way to 1,000, and my winrate is almost back up another whole percent. Slowly but steadily I’m getting there.
The problem with tier X match that sometimes it full by the player who only play for like 1 week. Since i was meet someone who so noob when playing with obj.260, and then when i see his stats he only have 1205 battles that which is pretty dumb. Since i need like 9500 battles to get tier X

Do I need to watch a video to tell me all this ? I am one of those nubs, having played for two months. When I struggle in the game, there is no shortage of people complaining about my inability, but absolutely no help from anyone in improving my performance. I have trying to learn "how to play the game" but there is a wide disconnect between someone in my situation and experienced players that actually skilled in bringing less experienced players up to their level. So, if in your opinion I should not be able to play tier X, at what level would it be acceptible to play, or should I just quit the game entirely because my plight is hopeless ? I can tell you right now that's not going to happen, but I just want to see what the thinking is here.
JUST CHECKED that player you highlighted, it's not been on for over 30 days. I, like you get frustrated by very bad players and afks, is it right to name and shame them? Perhaps only shame them when they deliberately try to ruin the game? This highlighted person may be young, have learning difficulties, getting on in age etc etc. Totally agree with other players views about being allowed to buy tier 10 tanks especially if you're only up to tier 8 on the tech tree. Name the blockers, spammers, trolls etc.

There are now clans that actually compete to have the lowest win rate. They purposely throw games and want to lose. I kinda get it to be honest...because it's virtually impossible to improve your win rate these days. When was the last time you got a nice string of 10 wins? Never! Better chance of winning to lottery.
I normally play on Asia server (6 years 84000 battles). I am in UK taking my daughter to uni so I started a new EU server account. After 67 battles I was encouraged to play in ratings and right from the start I could buy t22.
hi guys, I'm a relatively new player and I was wondering if there is an easy way to understand the parts of your tank that can bounce off enemy bullets. I know that they change based on where the enemy is shooting you and on how are you positioned in relation to them, but I'm having a hard time figuring that out. Could you give me some advice? (if there's any, sorry for my broken english)
Well in Blitz you have the advantage that you can actually see the red parts (where it will not penetrate) when you zoom in. So you can learn this by simply playing and facing enemy tanks. Where on which tank you can penetrate without or with gold shells is also important to know in higher tiers. You can also check armor stats on whichever tank you interested in the game. You can see number. Or for more detailed study you can visit BLITZHANGAR.COM 🙂
Sometimes you will not penetrate when shooting under extreme angles. It’s troll bounces.

There is good youtube videos on it, the term to look for is "angling". But in case you are missing the very basics (as I did for quite a bit at the start): The way this red/black overlay is on tanks when you are zooming in shows you whether you will hit or bounce. If its coloured red it will bounce. From that you should also figure out how to hide your own tank

I thinki have a idea to solve the noob issue in higher tier tanks or just in game. Expend the maps, make them a lil bigger. Means longer battles, means u need to do better to stay alive, or you'll be dead longer during the map cycle. Or map increase map size at higher tiers.. I feel this would weed them out or make them better. Think noobs see this as small maps and blitz in the title and play this as a arcade game
bigger maps means they will just have more places to run and hide while everyone else fights or it will have no effect because they run to enemy spawn anyway.

Just do what War Thunder does and make people research a certain number of x tier vehicles before you can research the next tier. Make people unlock, say, 3 T8s before they can get a T9, etc. With how easy it is to get XP nowadays, that shouldn't be too burdensome.

wg def needs to make it that you have to have x amount of battles or win % or something to stop these noobs , plus it has been worse last few days since they did the small event to win 30 battles to get e100 camo , omg its bad
It’s sad when you can look at your teams build and know your going to lose. I’ve never played above 8 and very rarely 8. The real problem is the mix of players, those in competition and those just wanting to play a tank game for fun. Not a good mix at all and good players deserve to be pissed off. Myself I would just as well play with noobs or cannon trash than screw up games for the good players. It all boils down to making money in the end.
it is the way WG allowed nubs to access higher tiers but buying up.. to get money from them.. and so ruin it for the dedicated players.. Nearly every game i play these days , be it T5 - T7.. even T X- 10, the game usually ends the same way. . starts off well then the team falters and the game has ended in the 3rd to 4th minute... 😖😖😖😖😖
