Very nice soundspace here. At times it reminded me a lot of Daft Punk's Tron score. I really love the way you used the A-440 reference tone as a musical element at around 3:30. Thumbs up.
I found my Mr. Black Supermoon Chrome to be really amazing for synth works. Way easier & faster access than my Big Sky through its 3 knobs from subtle to ridiculous.
Jesus Christ. how have Behringer made something that sounds this good for 300 quid?! I've got the DM12, which is an incredible bit of kit as well. Love your playing. You obviously know the model D inside and out.
Its a concept album. You can buy the single from i-tunes or you can listen to it for free on Spotify with the free web player. open.spotify.com/track/2THeEdJ01rgWpEYUxwzR2I
Lovely. Till now, the most beautiful sounding synth I tried is the slim phatty. I think this one can complement the slim very well. Thanks for the beautiful sound.
It sounds just like my Roland JP8000 in 1998 when I got it brand new and started tweaking pads and shifting slides. So, Behringer... what's new and refreshing about this one, over 25 years later and thus 25 years of general synth development? Is this it? Convince me that I want this one!
I'm so glad I've discovered your channel. I've found you on a opinion on why you sold the Iridium, and some how I had the idea that you make great music, and you do... Analog devices amazes me. You showed me..
Today based only on this track I bought everything you ever made on Bandcamp. Thanks to you I will be buying my first analog synth, preferably your favorite analog synth. I don't know why trust me. As a true amateur musician I really thought I can get away with software and digital synths. But in your music and sound, I heard something that gently but surely launched my in a complete other direction. I haven't listen to a lot of your music , but if they are made by the man behind Monuments is enough for me.
Back for a 2nd listen today. Very Inspiring track and as well, inspiring use of tne model D. I just ordered a eurorack case for my Neutron and Model D. Newbie to modular. This should be a good starting point. Less desk space too!. Looking forward to this adventure.
@@davegetsspam For sure. Once I get things up and running will be sure to do that. I really want a nice little revetb now. Big sky woukd be supet nice. May just go for valhalla shimmer. Anything else you can recommend thats less than big sky but in either eurorack or tabletop formst rather than pedal.
This is a truly outstanding composition with great sound design. You really nailed a certain mood here. Fully describing this mood isn't possible with words. The music speaks for itself and its going right into my favorites playlist. I do have one question.. how did you achieve the effect of two notes playing simultaneously? Is it a technique using the oscillators or was it multitracked?
Incredible! Need very soft straight kick and would be another Anjunadeep banger! Nathan, you actually sold this one to me. Unbelievable sound for just 300 bucks
Cant see the engine your'e using on the Bigsky ... is it the Chorale Engine? Its absolutely fantastic though! The BigSky is like cheating - it turns everything into pure Epicness :-D But the Model D is epic on its own. Never tried a synth that is so cheap and has such a big sound ... you should give the Neutron a try as well. I have both now and they are absolutely stunning!
Very nice. Extra points for the lightbulb.
essential for the retro sound :)
can you PLEASE post the patch for this?!
I don't even know how many times I've seen this video... but it never gets old man.
So many duff demos out there - thank you for doing this amazing instrument justice.
+100 for using the 440Hz tuning in the score and making this a polysynth :D
haha, I just picked a Model D up this week and aside from it being a test tone I never throught it would be used. Great.
This is one of the most simplistic majestic pieces of music ive ever heard. Superb. Looking forward to my new model d.
Very clever use of the A440 tune switch. You have a good ear and taste for composition. SUBSCRIBED!
Very nice soundspace here. At times it reminded me a lot of Daft Punk's Tron score. I really love the way you used the A-440 reference tone as a musical element at around 3:30. Thumbs up.
When the reverb cost more than the synth...
I have two Big Skies and i love them....
Yes they are lovely!
@@andyjey3126
@@andrewdial699 not much changed then, a pcm70 in the eighties was 2.5k, more than a lot of mono synths at the the time.
Get the Biyang Baby Boom. It is even warmer at less than a quarter the cost.
I found my Mr. Black Supermoon Chrome to be really amazing for synth works. Way easier & faster access than my Big Sky through its 3 knobs from subtle to ridiculous.
Bought a Model D because of this video, and in the process of getting a BigSky as well
Sounds like when they showed the future scenes in Terminator 1. Dope...
Jesus Christ. how have Behringer made something that sounds this good for 300 quid?! I've got the DM12, which is an incredible bit of kit as well.
Love your playing. You obviously know the model D inside and out.
Pure tones, simplicity ... congrats !
This is great. Also props for creative use of the A-440 switch.
I just bought one of these and I am awaiting its arrival. I have a Deep Mind12 as well and I think the two are going to get along GREAT!!
Beautiful
It’s already been said in other comments but oh well. I was very impressed by the synth but blown away by the performance and arrangement.
Never thought of using the tuning button musically :D Thanks!
My subwoofers love this, ad so do I! I need more, please!
Beautiful. I've been stuck in a rut to finish my debut album, and this song has given me the inspiration needed to move forward.
Good luck on your debut album!

Absolutely lovely. An excellent example of how far the Model D can go with the right externals. Thank you for sharing!
sounds like Alessandro Cortini. You might have just convinced me to buy this beast. good job!
Great Demo by the way. I look forward to getting mine. Can't WAIT!!!
Really like the atmosphere. Very Boards of Canada ;)
Genius for tapping the 440 hz tuning button!
this is great
amazing minimal session with big and deep atmosphere!
VERY WELL DONE AMBIENT!!
Thanks :)
This is dope! One of the reason that I'm sold for Model D is this record. Great composition as well. Thanks for sharing.
So beautiful. Love the Boards of Canada vibe here.
man this is an amazing ambience jam. thanx for this video. this really is awesome, you inspired me to look at this sound direction with my own model d
I have one of these. SO much you can do with it. Great piece and nice playing and on the fly editing.
you sir delivered me so many goosebumps, this sound is so touching
Great sound design! Neat technique with that tuning "A" switch too :)
I love the focus
Incredible sounds. Best I’ve heard the D
Wow, what a beautiful track. Behringer has a winner.
Lovely. Till now, the most beautiful sounding synth I tried is the slim phatty. I think this one can complement the slim very well. Thanks for the beautiful sound.
This gives me an "intro to a deadmau5 song" kinda vibe. I love this and am considering getting a big sky now
Just gorgeous sounds. I just picked up the Model D today, hopefully I can makes sounds as luxurious as yours.
Thanks! It’s definitely a great sounding little synth. Happy exploring!
+ Added Drums
= Melodic Techno has born
so beautiful!
what was the patch to make it wobble, its just lfo mod ?
Behringer killing it with their Model D and DeepMind. The Big Sky is also a superb addition to any setup's hardware effects.
Agreed. Love my DM12 too!
holy shit this is so pretty its actually giving me asmr tingles
i've heard this minimoog trick many times & i always wondered how was done...
thanks for the demo...
Thanks for watching :)
Whats the trick?
I LOVE the BOOG. Incredibly musical.
Thank you for that 🙏🏻 Incredible climate 🚀
Very Boards of Canada, love it.
I don't know either of these components. Things start getting dirty up around 2'35" before retreating into a safe corner. A lovely thing.
Found your music via the Behringer video. You have a new fan. Great stuff!
Thanks so much!
Absolutely love this- the sound from both , could be endless. Thankyou!
This is the best demo for this synth. I've buy one, I still waiting the delivery !
Really good vibes, reming me radiohead style, really nice
Awesome! And the steampunk lightbulb is just perfect!
can't wait to listen to all your tracks! great work🤟
still awsome...thx :)
THE BERINGER IS SO POWERFUL ITS LIGHTING UP THE TUBE LIGHTBULB!!!
ok i love this...have to try my D with my big sky VST 🤗
Flashed by the use of the A-440 Button 😱 never had an idea
Like mom always said, ' don't waste any part of the synth.' Or something like that... :)
This is so beautiful! Love your music Jameson!
Ooh, very good, I love it. The main lead line reminds me of LORN - Entangled
Me, Lorn’s Acid Rain.

this is beautiful
Awesome! Behringer model D sounds really cool!
YOLO! Just hit the buy button at Perfect Circuit!
this may be the demo that finally makes me buy a Model D - great work!
That's it, I'm getting one of these. Great performance!
The lamp is a nice touch.
First thing I did was swap the oscillator 2 and 3 big knobs for the small filter frequency and resonance knobs... much much more playable.
I love how ur using the tuner haha, Amazing work!!
this is purely amazing, such mystery in this tune!
This is like Tron Legacy meets Nils Frahm & Olafur Arnalds. Im dead. This is 11/10
update: just bought a Model D and may get an SQ-1 and a second Model D
Haha nice! Enjoy :)
Awesome inspiration, listen it again and again, thank you
Nice! reminds me of Abul Mogard. Recommended listening if you haven't already!
Stunning!

Nostalgic Ruckus Thanks man! Love your videos btw :)
Thank you.
Exactly what i need to hear
This piece made me buy the Model D this weekend. Great work man.
This sounds MASSIVE. Love it.

I do have one question.. how did you achieve the effect of two notes playing simultaneously? Is it a technique using the oscillators or was it multitracked?
Thank you for the kind words! Osc 3’s key tracking is switched off, so it provides the drone. The other two oscillators are tuned a 5th apart.
@@JamesonNathanJones Thanks for clarifying that.. I didnt know you could drone one of the oscillators. This synth is definitely on my wishlist now.
Beautiful,thank you.
Clucking Bell! Too cool. That thing sounds amazing. Very nice mr!
it was greet to add oscillators 1 by 1 !! nice job man!!!
Has that Carpenter Thing sound bass coming through on this track sweet take mate cheers
Incredible sound
Amazing improvisation and sound design. Did the Behringer justice... and then some
If I wasn't buying one of these tomorrow anyway, this would've convinced me. Awesome work, it makes me want to watch Beyond The Black Rainbow again.
This is so beautiful!
Awesome jam!
Incredible! Need very soft straight kick and would be another Anjunadeep banger! Nathan, you actually sold this one to me. Unbelievable sound for just 300 bucks
Thanks man! I’m still waiting on the commission checks from Behringer....😂
Was very interested to hear the Behringer Model D as just sold my original 70's Mini. Sad I know but true. Really nice improv.

that strymon reverb... Very nice improvisation
Very clever the way you used all its components!
This video just sold me on this thing. Thank you so much. Really great job.
Thank you. Happy noodling!
Nice work mate
Breathtaking!
Just had to say, this is beautiful. Great, great piece.
Any chance of a patch sheet on how you had this sound dialled in? Absolutely awesome!
