Hi Gm My name is Prarthana Fernandes. I love you guys video abt exploring Goa n his rich culture with amazing Goan food that does not cost your pocket a lot. Thank you for sharing lovely n amazing Goan food restaurants to everyone. More than the Goan the outsiders make our Goa videos. Proud of u guys😊
What a Hard working team it self explore, edit . Salutes to their courage. Selfless service. I request to all to subscribe as many as. Food logging is not so easy.
I recently came across your channel and there is not a day when I don't watch a video. Love your honesty and genuineness. Your content is transparent no fake eating style or no fake laughs just genuine reactions. Feels like how we are in real life. Keep going ❤
I too recommend CopperLeaf in Porvorim. Nice place and good menu, including tasty fish thali. But if visiting on the weekend, be prepared to find the place packed and groups waiting outside.
Thanks a lot for showing us around and sharing your food experience in the unexplored places in Goa. Whenever I visit Goa, I have fish thali, nothing else. Thats probably one meal I can and if given a chance, am willing to have daily. Modso is one of my favorites. ❤️
@@lesleyingoa thank you. Back in 2019, for work I had to be in Goa for close to 2 months. I stayed in Campal area at Panjim and was eating my lunch at Cafe Ashwini. Thanks to a local who suggested I try Modso 😁. Since then, there's no other fish I tried (only when Modso was not available) I ended up having fish thali for lunch 1 month straight 😁.
Lesley I keep watching you and I’m always tempted to visit the places you recommend! Love watching you eat and explain each dish! Thank you for your beautiful videos !
Very nice and tasty. The way of serving is also unique. Meal is served in an earthenware vestal. Eco friendly. The ambience and hygiene part is also very good. Worth visiting. The desert is super rich and mouth watering.
Thank you so much for suggesting this restaurant. It is far away from the tourist zones. But will definitely try it when we visit Goa on our holiday next time
That definitely looks like a place worth visiting for Lunch…the food, the view, everything checks out! ✅👌🏼 Like always, thanks for sharing and please keep exploring more such places for us… 😊
Hi Leslie I plan to visit Goa and have been watching your videos to learn where to eat . If u have to recommend where to eat the following what would it be : 1. Best Sea Food Thali . 2. Best Ros Omlette 3. Best Chicken Choriz Pao . 4. Best Chicken Carfreal/ xacuti ( hope I spelt it right ) .
you have to watch her videos as she has visited lots of different restaurants in Goa. I noticed they are very honest about their reviews . I guess since they pay for their own meals they can afford to be very honest. I have noticed other Goan YTers are not honest about their reviews because they have a personal connection to the restaurants they recommend. There is some kind of financial incentive for why the other YTers recommend certain restaurants. I would be wary about using them as a guide. Lesley is upfront about everything. And she has done her homework before she goes to a restaurant to eat with her friends, so most of the restaurants she has visited on her channel are going to be some of the best in Goa. Of course some have disappointed them and they are not shy to say so. You can't go wrong with her channel. She also tries to highlight the best of Goan cuisine. And it is possible she has highlighted other cuisines if they are very good, I am sure. For foreign international tourists visiting Goa, the Goa Tourism department should promote her channel, for those tourists wanting to taste the very best of Goan food. It will go a long way to promote Goa cuisine to the rest of the world!
Dear Leslie , I want to thank u for your honest reply and appreciate it , the precise reason for me asking u is because of your honest reviews , i have watched most of your vlogs over the last few months for eg you have covered many sea food Thali places but since we have only 4 days so was seeking your guidance.
Had dinner earlier today at kuttikar bar and restaurant that was recommended in your other video. The food was really good. Thank you. When in porvorim it's either o'coqueiro or bhojan for my visits, however lately the quality there has gone down. This place looks nice, I'll surely visit soon..
@@lesleyingoa Since then, been here twice. Loved their version of popcorn chicken. The ambience is the best part. Open area with nice breeze. Thank you.
Hi, love your videos and content, do visit Sanil restaurant in Porvorim, reputed for their fresh fish thali and other fish delicacies, they r closed on Mondays
In Goa right now and visited savoi plantation and saidutta bhojanalay near shantadurga temple. Thanks for these suggestions. Khedekar’s and more on the hitlist! My mom says would have been wonderful to meet you and have a meal together!❤
Hi, it's not only I who pays. It's just that the filming can be done when I am paying. Most of the time when others pay, they don't let me see the bill only
@lesleyingoa I stumbled upon your channel accidentally and I have watched numerous videos over the past couple of days that are very impressive as I feel your content is genuine. Keep up the great work. Also, I am a Goan living in Mumbai. I visit Goa often. Would you join me in at a place in Porvorim? Would like to show you a great local eatery there! I am traveling in May. Do let me know.
If you are reviewing iconic thalis then spice goa restaurant Karaswada is unparalled, vinayak resraurant in Assagaon is legendary very popular with tourists and Sanils a quaint restaurant almost invisible is across the road from copperleaf is most popular with taxi walas and mercedes owners alike ..
You should try Chonak & other fish thali in THR MESAR bar & restaurant St Anthony Waddo, Colvale , and especially chicken bang bang owner special. Food is very tasty and homely cooked.
Hi, actually I don’t know because a van brings the salt to our village every year during the season. I hear you can buy it in Curca where the salt pans are till stocks last, but I myself never bought from there
@leslyingoa so I went to panjim market and found a local goan salt ... looks almost the same as the one in your video .... the shop keeper said even they use the same . Nevertheless thank you again..
Prawns rechad rate was way too high, everything else seemed good and regular price, I loved the way maria was enjoying crabs., sure to visit if I go to porvorim
I find this restaurant very average, especially their thali. There are much better restaurants in the vicinity than workshop. Especially saikrupa restaurant at chogum road, serves amazing thali. Workshop is pretty overrated. Even bhojan restaurant is pretty good. This thali is just fancy. Maybe on some days it’s good. Oh yes but they have a beautiful view!
Costs we paid: Kingfish special fish thali Rs 300, Modso special fish thali Rs 250, prawns rechead masala fry Rs 450
That is very cheap, as prices around the world have gone up a lot after the Pandemic.
Pls tell where is the restaurant located.name if the restaurant?
So reasonably priced ..🎉
Lovely view of the Mandovi river and Panjim👍

It's a pleasure watching you girls drive so smartly and then sit down to an unpretentious but well-prepared spread. Kudos to Lesly madam and her team.
Thank you so much
My son+family were in Goa last week. I shared your vlog with him.
They loved Workshop... said the food was superb.
Good to know. I also really liked the place. I still remember their chonak fry!
