Hi, Lesley love your vlogs for providing honest opinions of all the restaurants and their food.we could never find these on our own . After watching your vlogs we could not resist and came to goa specially try few of the restaurants , although we have been here many times . Never thought I could meet any of you but to my surprise first I saw Jaya in the flight, I was so happy to see her and on top of it she said you and Maria are coming to airport .very very happy to meet you all. As I arrived on Monday workshop and sanil both were closed so we went to Dariya Digar In old goa and the other day went to Tukaram, today afternoon we had lunch at Vida and tonight we’re going to have dinner at Tora shir .
@@lesleyingoa yes enjoyed a lot, it was nice meeting you all too.yesterday before our flight went to Dados also , food was very good there also. The family who runs the restaurant was very nice.would definitely visit again .
Lived in Germany for almost 5 years, I came to Goa on a vacation. I fell in love with the king fish thali, Urak, sorpotel. I can refer a few goan resturants in North Goa if you like. Goa will always be very close to my heart.
Now that’s a new for me, cutting a Samosa with a fork and knife. 😂. Becoming whiter than white, are we, eh? Nevertheless, seems like a chic place to visit. Thanks you.
Thank you for the Kuttikars video at Old Goa. I've been back to Goa and got a few friends touring the state wanting to explore goan cuisine. I needed a place for sea food only. The fish thali here at Vidas also looks tempting. There are a few restaurants near the river at Asolna. Joe's river cove is located towards Assolna Cavelossim road and Star light in Tariwado-Asolna. I'd recommend star light for lunch as their quality gets compromised with the evening crowd. Don't forget to try the stuffed mushrooms at Joe's river cove if you do visit and beef chilly at star light.
Thank you for your kind comment and for sharing your experience. We have covered Star Light: ruclips.net/video/xmrjin8D2aw/видео.html&ab_channel=LesleyinGoa
Beautiful ladies having a great time and a great food too. I kept drooling while watching the video. Looking forward to land in goa soon and explore places and taste amazing food. Would love to know more about the must haves that one should aim for in goa.
hi, even we thought that because of the colour, but nori has a very distinctive taste and we could not make it out in the taste. that's why we asked the waiter
Once try Greenland restaurant u will get fresh fish and u will love there scenery sarzora touch to Margao Cuncolim highway after chinchinim junction u have to try once madam u will love that place and food too👍🏻
Very upscale. It is very nice inside. I like the large windows. I would have expected it to be busy? I would expect the food to be more refined. I imagine the chef is a real chef.
Tato,s brand is very famous for breakfast restaurant in Margao Panjim Mhapusa this restaurant i didn't visited but try this to visit restaurant 👍👌 thanks Lesley family for next restaurant of fish thali
There is one restaurant named Molly's which is close to Fatorda and on the way to KTC... I had ala Carte there and didn't find it great... But I guess they have a fish thali that they serve in the afternoon lunch time. Do plan a visit. Based on your review will plan a meal at this restaurant.😊😊
Lesley & Maria have you tried George's restaurant near tge Panjim church? They have some good stuff although I find that their prices have increased too much.
@@lesleyingoa True! Another recommendation is Kutumbh next to Kokni canteen and near the Mahalaxmi temple in Panaji. Surprisingly they had a good Goan fish thali and the curry was a fish head curry. The rest of the menu was the usual Punjabi and Chinese items for tourists. We tried a fish thali, prawn thali and a veg thali. Decently priced and tasty.
Hi Lesley, the sweet potato is pronounced like this in konkani: KON + GEE + O (kongeeo). Not trying to be mean but just thought it would be nice if I could let you know. No offence meant please. Also we love to watch your videos wherein you explore all the lovely eating joints in Goa. Maybe will try some when we come down to Goa this Christmas. God bless always!!!
@@lesleyingoa 👍🏻👌🏻🤗🥰 Will certainly try some good food recommended by you. Also, wanted to let you know that Dariya Degar is a nice place to have good seafood - it's somewhere near Old Goa.
Just love your content. Keep up the great work. Your content is so unique unlike typical RUclips videos. Your videos are soothing, calm, pleasant and relaxing. Your videos truly are a breath of fresh air. Just ome suggestion, could you please speak in Konkani in between your Vlogs if possible?
Lovely yum video, happy to see all u dear friends together enjoying a yum lunch.Hope n pray i get to meet all of you someday soon.Take care n have a blessed lenten week ahead.
Thank you so much for the shoutout Your channel is doing such a fab job for Goa, and foodies like us. With this review, I sense you're going to be covering more upscale (read pricey) places as well. Keep shining light on the hidden joints (read more popular with locals) as well like you've been doing.
Hi Abhishek, we had been wanting to try Vida for a while because there was some hype about its Goan food when it launched, but after that bomb of a bill, don’t think we will be visiting such upscale places much. The price of one appetiser is equal to two whole fish thalis we can eat elsewhere at the local joints which are also very tasty. The latter will remain our focus. Thanks again for your support
@@lesleyingoa That's the thing about many of the upscale places in Goa... their prices are extremely exorbitant because they rely on and cater to tourists who're willing to pay those huge amounts for the experience. Some like Mum's Kitchen in Panaji or Martin's Corner in Betalbatim of course have great food too, but so many are just pricey with nothing great to boast foodwise.
The waiter should have gone back and asked the chef what that topping is. I am sure the chef would like the dinners know what they are eating. For an upscale restaurant the wait staff must show more enthusiasm in knowing what food they are serving. Usually in these upscale restaurants the wait staff is given a sample of the food before they open, so that they know what they serving that day, so that they can share that info with the dinners. After all, it is part of the dinning experience with the higher prices. Sorry, don't mean to be so picky, I would like the restaurant to succeed and do even better. If they do get lots of curious international dinners, they would love to know what they are eating. This is just a minor comment, more for the manager if she or he is reviewing your channel after your visit and wants to do better. Best Wishes. Looks like a very pleasant and tasty meal. I would visit this place.

Nice video, very very happy to see this video, Thanks
Thanks to you
Quantity is so less like for the starters 😮 Looks like an exquisite restaurant and not a regular thali place.
Yes it is expensive and it's not a regular thali place but we found the starters portions to be quite generous
Love your videos just a suggestion to avoid any inconvenience while eating you should ask the waiter to repeat the order once placed.
Thank you very much for sharing this video. Even I had a same type of note
We're glad you enjoyed the video
Always a pleasure watching all of you!! Keep going the way you are👏👏
Thanks so much, Michael! ❤️❤️

Glad you like them!
Lesley, On the Bharit, i think its the black crushed Nori made of seaweed and is used in Sushi

Loved this blog, thanks to you we made it to Tukaram, excellent.
Beautiful restaurant interiors! Meals looked scrumptious too ! I wonder if the Ritz Classic in Panjim is an authentic place or just a hype.
Ritz Classic used to be great but now is just good
They all have a good friend in you to take them all over Goa. God bless you and keep you safe, strong and healthy.
Thank you so much, Esperanca

Would suggest Smoke Fish Cafe in Morjim, aka Ranjita Aunty's Kitchen. Very homely food.
Will surely visit
Green brinjal podi is size of king fish
We had food there once Very expensive but quality of the food is very gud...
Yes. Same experience. But it's just too expensive
y they did not wash plates??
Haha even we thought it’s dirty but that’s the plate design! Imported from Turkey and all. Should have spent less and got white plates only
It seems like sea weed on the brinjal bharta
Could be but we could not make out from the taste
Viva lesley and gang ❤️💯
