- We went to one of the cheapest and best seafood restaurants in Ao Nang Thailand and had an authentic Thai seafood feast in local Ao Nang Krabi. We tried seafood for the first time and give an honest food review.
Not only was it some of the cheapest seafood around, but it was fresh and caught straight from the Andaman sea, unique to the South of Thailand.

It depends on which country or area in SE Asia you are in as to whether you will eat well as a vegan. Some areas you will eat well as a vegan like Pai in Thailand (not sure what it's like now due to lack of westerners) other areas and countries you will struggle. Even as a vegetarian you are very limited. If you go to the markets and cook yourself you'll live like a king extremely cheaply!
Veganism I think having travelled is a very western thing! Be prepared. I've seen vegans lose their shit at their lack of options to no fault of the local x

Thai food are categorized as the region and it depend on the regions. For southern foods are more spicy and some menu similar to Malay foods. Northern is another style and inherited the recipes from Myanmar 🇲🇲 etc. Esan foods are similar to 🇱🇦, Central foods are another style.

I love seafood and snails. In Vietnam you can get all type of snails, there is one they cook snail with coconut and you suck at the bottom of the snail and the meat just flew into your mouth with tasty coconut milk yumm

Was around 10:30 PM here in California (USA) when saw this video, and I had just ate a large bowl of spaghetti for dinner 1 hour ago (super full)! Can’t believe after seeing all your seafood feast made me now SO HUNGRY again LOL. I’m now drooling over your seafood. Looks good - I love seafood! Question: here in USA, tip or gratuity (15% or so) is expected on top of bill. Wondering if restaurants in Laos or Thailand ask for or expect tips as well? Thanks!
In Thailand, Tip is not a must but if you feel that you’ve got a really nice service, a little tip could make the restaurant’s staff superrrr happy 😄 😊

Thailand has such a great variety, beaches & many islands, rivers, mountains, plus night-life & a great variety of food too!
Thailand has the ocean. With oceans, there are beaches and seafood. But Laos also have river islands and small beaches. But not as amazing as Thailand.
@@gunter1444 You can't compare Laos and Thailand. Laos is landlocked. It's not a fair comparison. But let's compare Thailand and Cambodia. Both countries have oceans beaches and islands.

Guy's try to beach at high tide❤️ This time of year is windy and its hard to picture the perfect landscape 😂 We used to visit Krabi twice a year before the pandemic. Anyway try to time the high tide for beach's............ Olivia got it wrong this time its pronounced "KONK" but spelt Conch 😊 have fun xxxx

It's just something different to be honest. We are travellers in heart and seeing new places is always fun. There is a piece of us left in Laos and we will be coming back one sometime, but for now, we are happy that we can travel again!

I plan to travel there in March but I don’t want to be there alone.
We were actually thinking of visiting there as well, our friend suggested.
I was there about two weeks ago, it’s pretty lively, live music on the beach, bars and shops open. Just the right amount of people, probably too crowed for me before the pandemic but perfect now!

I just had lunch at this place with my Thai friend. I have been living in Thailand on and off for over a decade.
I love seafood.
If you love seafood and think Thailand is a good place for seafood, think again.
The food at this place was good enough, but 750 THB for four large, bland grilled shrimps. Supposedly wild. I have my doubts.
The squid with its eggs is a nice idea. Good sauce but overcooked.
I don't know: Trang, Koh Samui, Phuket, Surat Thani, etc, etc. I've spent good money to try seafood in all of these places. Quality ranges from barely acceptable to pretty good.
