Here’s a fun challenge for you to suffer in: try playing as Uranium City. It starts in a very weak position and has the added downside of being unable to core any occupied territory. Plus, the artwork for the leaders are probably the most unsettling thing in the entire mod.
Lmao, I read Uranium City and I thought you were talking about the town in Saskatchewan for some reason haha. I was wondering who the fuck would even know about it then realized it was a fallout themed hoi4 again.
Where on the map is Uranium City? I've played this mod for hundreds of hours, but don't know about this one.
@@realEpicGold It just got added. Don't know why they are suggesting it it doesn't have a focus tree or anything from what I've seen. Up North in Canada. It's the only state that actually borders the edge of the map that isn't impassable

I like how the three mods are all very different viewer experiences, here we get genuine enjoyment from stakuyis, then pony mod, where is a bizarre wtf enjoyment, and millennium dawn, where we watch stakuyi slowly fall into insanity

Surprised there wasn't any lag issues like with New Canaan, but you did suffer some crashes at the beginning. Also fun fact, the Free Fighters' leaders are based of of real life luchadores of the same name (El Santo, Blue Demon and Mil Mascaras).
i crashed 11 times over the course of this play. It was so chaotic but fun. Luckily I edited a lot of that out

In my experience the lag is something that shows up after crashes and sticks around through sessions. If you want to get rid of it, restarting your PC tends to work in my experience. Something about the cache probably.

Mexico has a ton of awesome focus trees! I do still highly recommend playing the Rogue Rangers and everyone else in the Esmeralda region.
I think you’d really like either tv town or sons of kaga. Both have super interesting backstory and end goals. Tv town has a ton of its own mechanics too
tv town is fun but it's also really hard not getting murdered by your neighbors. though he probably could do it with little difficulty.
The first bit of TV Town is interesting, but it kind of goes nowhere.

No, Tlalocan actually goes a decent job, and is genuinely devoted to its people. And dying.
I know you moused over it but you didn't mention it so I'm not sure if you noticed, but not all of the tribal research debuffs research speed. Just the first one and those central two rows (possibly the entire middle, its been a while since I played a tribal). The top and bottom have a variety of bonuses without a research debuff, importantly including compliance gain for quicker coring. You can also change the game rules to allow tech advancement if you want; considering that each research takes a year to unlock a limited set of other researches, I think its reasonably balanced. Yeah, it can result in tribals fielding power armor late game but not a lot of it unless they also invest into the industry tech to make up for how late they started to get it, and at that point it delays it even further.
I can’t stop imagining Legate Lanius being put in a full nelson.
The voices are amazing and truly one of the funniest thing in a HOI4 video I have seen it’s perfect
this whole episode feels like the origin story of the mucha lucha cartoon and i love it
Try Lanius and decide if you're gonna be a loyal legionairre, subvert caesar, or join Diana. Lanius's game is *constant war* as he has a deadline to conquer about a dozen nations or Caesar has him killed. Once that's done, the decision to switch to the legion and annex Lanius's country, break free and declare on the legion for the crown, or form the eastern legion and conquer texas takes hold.
There's also the option to become New Byzantium if you side with Diana and form a faction with her instead, which is a more humanistic legion.
Luchadore kool-aid man/Hulk Hogan/Nixon is a thing I never knew I needed.

If you are going to play Mexico more, I would 100 % recommend Republic of Rio Grande! Really, it's probably the best Mexican nation! The 3 paths are so interesting, and the flavour is so much! Reunite Mexico and Arizona with your friends! Make Mexico great again! Or unite Texas and North Mexico with your Brotherhood friends!
Hey Stakuyi! Decisions out of nowhere keep screwing you over - What I like to do to counter that is turn off all decisions, then slowly turn on ones I want to know about - that way if something new pops up that’s important I know about it

Okay this is awesome. I don't know much about Mexican wrestling as all I've seen of it is Nacho Libre with Jack Black and that cartoon on Cartoon Network (don't remember the name) but it was based around Mexican Wrestling with the Masks
Played as republic of three rivers and conquered the east and my late game war against caesar was so much fun, try em.

Please. PLEASE play Lanius Cohort and go down the Diana path. It is one of the strongest Focuses in the mod in both gameplay and Story. Nobody that has played OWB on RUclips has covered it and I think you especially would appreciate it
There's an added event nation if you turn on Abennar Blues to play as necromancers. It replaced the Troll warren after a couple in game days (effectively switching your nation) but ends up having a final secret focus where you automatically declare war on every remaining nation... It's fun as
