I live Bay Area, CA and ride to Texas frequently for work. Had no idea this little gem was snug in the middle of the state. Definitely be paying a visit next time through on my MT-10. Cheers.

I used to live down in TX many years ago as a fresh graduate. Even before having an MC I used to love driving this road. I had a rental Ford Mustang with my girlfriend for a trip down to San Antonia and it was a blast driving around with the roof down.

So you did it in the cold, and we just did it last weekend in 105 degree heat. Not sure either were ideal, but I KNOW we will be going back. Great area to ride. Cool angle with the drone footage! We hit coopers BBQ in Llano and that was damn good bbq! If you haven't been....check out the Ruidoso/Cloudcroft/ Mayhill areas of New Mexico. Great mtn riding there

    Hey kyle
    ,
    I appreciate your videos. .
    Good info ,
    Awesome scenery ..
    A couple questions,
    How Are the titus bars
Doing as far as comfort ,
    On the longer trips ?
    Have you gotten rid the
Luggage rack that was on the bobber. Before the new seat. ?
    If not ,are you considering
    Selling it. ?
    Thanx
    God bless
    Jef

Thanks! The Titus bars are great! I’m about to put bigger bars on but I would definitely recommend them. I’m thinking about putting the luggage rack back on but modifying it slightly to fit over my seat.

Ha! Dude, I stayed at that same exact Cabin #1 at Oak Hills cabin and used the same coffee machine while I rode the sister on a Scout Bobber Twenty 😆 The place had no TV and which was cool since it gave me a chance to clear my thoughts on that porch. Only annoyance was the AC unit directly above the bed.

@@cruisingwithkyle The dad of the lady that runs the place drives around on the ATV with a dog and is a super friendly guy. I’m taking another overnight trip next week, hence why I’m browsing through videos of the sisters looking for different routes to and from there (I’m in San Antonio). I might stay at camp wood this time by Nueces river. Also considering the Marble Falls to Tom Hughes park area to ride lime creek road, but not sure if I can really make a two-day trip out of that. Likely just a day trip for the future. BTW, nice levers dude 👌🏽

Cool video thanks for sharing. I haven’t been out there yet. It doesn’t seem that much better than some of the roads around Austin. For example 1431 out to Marble Falls and the roads around Inks Lake or Lake Travis. What do you think?

    • @cruisingwithkyle
      @cruisingwithkyle  Год назад +1

Thanks! Yeah it’s not too much different really. The roads there are definitely tighter so it forces you to slow down more and not carry a steady pace the whole time. There’s a handful of back to back hairpin turns.

@@cruisingwithkyleHey Buddy! Thanks for sharing your Moto-Madness! Needed your advice: I'm visiting Austin from India. Got a bike on Riders Share and rode the twisties around Lake Travis (Hippie Hollow Horror) through Volente onwards to Jonestown-Marble Falls-Buchanan Dam-Canyon of the Eagles-Inks Lake-Long Horn and then back to through Hill Country Back Roads (CR334-CR335-Oatmeal-Cow Creek Road). It was killer riding but the Heat and Sun seem to have scorched all the colour out of the hills. Great fun nonetheless!! Wanted to ride the 3 Sisters but the views and roads seem identical to what I've already done and since I'll be renting the bike again, i wanted to know whether it's worth the spend?? Thanks in advance!
