This is the only fitness app that has continued to motivate me to keep working out. I'm not a fan of zombie movies or TV but this puts you right into the story. Also, it's not just for runners. If you can move faster than a slow shamble, you can use the app. Also you can use it on a treadmill, an exercise bike, or an elliptical machine. There's a lot of flexibility into how you can use the app to fit just about any level of ability. For example, you can adjust the duration of the mission (up to a point) or set it to go by distance instead of time. Also you can pause a mission and pick it back up later. This works great for the longer race missions, like the 20K.
Thanks Tom, I did like the app, if only it had worked consistently for me, which it did not. Glad it's working for you and glad you left the comment as it shows a different experience to mine.
In all fairness, there are a lot of variables. For example, I use the IOS version of the app. Also, I use the built-in player with a playlist that is downloaded to my phone. Now the app did stop on me once, when someone called me on the phone. The best way I can see to deal with that is enable "Do Not Disturb" mode while I'm exercising. (If I send them to voicemail instead of picking up, that works too.)

Sports bras are actually quite useful in an apocalypse situation! It's a bunch of elastic cloth, which has plenty of potential uses including medical (bandages, tourniquets), utility (you can basically turn it into a bag, for example), and of course they'll be useful for the female runners of Abel.
This is a really cool haha but it's kinda weird because i use it while skating around. I've never been interested in running but I saw this app and thought it'd be cool to try out anyway so I started skating around my town to it. It's hilarious getting chased by imaginary zombies on a skateboard
You have to turn it on, but if you set the time short, it's possible the story doesn't have any chases. I think my second story didn't have any chases either.
I'm glad this is working for some people. I'm just disappointed that it doesn't use Pokemon Go technology. I thought it was going to have me run to different parts of my neighborhood collecting item or points.
Į love this app. I ACTUALY love riding my horse with this. I love picking up The pace and slowing down. So simply į love this app I do stop it SO she could rest. Now į like to go running with my dog too. Love this
I had a similar problem with the app. It turned out it was actually the android optimization tool running in the background that "decided" the app was already finished working. All it needed was to turn that option of for this app and it never happened again. It was actually a suggestion by the tech support after I contacted them. Regarding the music stopping and not restarting the problem occurs when you listen to a story snippet and the app decides that after the story you are going to have a supply collection announcement. In these situations it waits for the announcement and the music starts again after that. Actually for me the collection announcements were pretty annoying so I turned them off. Never had any problem with restarting music after that.
Thanks for a good review mate. Just to update things a little: I live in New Zealand and it's now $10NZD per month or $60NZD per year. My 5 and 9 year old sons recently enjoyed their cross-country races at school and as a result fell in love with running in general. My youngest is too young for the subject matter in the app really but as you said the acting and humour is cheesy/quirky enough that my 9 year old can take it all with a pinch of salt. He and I are using the app daily and having been given a $50 App Store voucher he wants to unlock the purchases in the app. I still feel there is enough for us to be getting on with for a while before unlocking and if he's still happy to run 3-5 times a week with it then we'll sort it out. Haven't had any issues on either iOS or android in over 3 months of using it and the spotify issues you had seem to be resolved also. Overall, I would say that without the app my son and I would probably not have continued to run as often or enjoy the running as much as we have. Again, thanks for the review. Happy trails.
About a year and a half ago, I also had issues with one of my missions stopping part way through but I stuck with the app and just did supply missions instead until the app had an update. Once that was done, I continued the story and had no other issues. In saying that I use apple products and I know from experience (cause Mum has Samsung) there will be apps that work well with android phone and not so much with apple ones whilst others have the opposite issue. There’s another app we both use (for Bluetooth scales) that I have no issues with but mum’s phone will chuck the woopies.

It's a large game for one on a mobile platform and had loads of content with hours of enjoyable game time, imo. My point is that I felt that it was a bit too much at 10 bux with all it offered. So yeah, this crap @ 30 bux is retarded.
Lol why use Spotify? You pay $8 a month for that. It’d be cheaper to buy the songs and put them on iTunes
Or just use Spotify+, free premium
If you listen to as much music as I do, it's well worth it.
