Do you have a vid about the game and how base building works? Is the base ever attacked by Z‘s?

I made a video when I first started using the app, where I think I talked a bit more about the base? Basically, as you run, you’ll pick up supplies. You can even go in specific “supply runs” if you use the paid version of the app. You then use these accumulated supplied to add acreage and buildings/their upgrades to the base. These increase your max population, their happiness, and their protection. My base has never been attacked by zombies except as part of the plot which doesn’t affect your digital, app-based representation. Hope this helps!

I saw somewhere it works on treadmill…do you think it would work on an exercise bike?

The three options it gives for most episodes are GPS tracking, step counting (including treadmill), and “simulate running” which gives rowing and elliptical use as examples. I think it would work! You can set the story segments to arrive on a time- or distance-based schedule, so if you choose simulate and timed delivery, you should be good to out-bike those zoms in no time 😊

@@randomlibrarian I imagine you'd need to have your mobile device in your pocket for it to be able to tell that you are moving?

@@tinawoman definitely if you pick the GPS version, but I think the other options allow for more flexibility when it comes to tracking. You'll need whatever device you're using nearby to hear the story, but I'm not sure it needs to be glued to you for tracking purposes 😊
