Love seeing a console bundle that actually came with the physical version of the game. I hate seeing how nowadays you'll only get a download code but I already disliked how the Wii bundles came with the disc in a cardboard sleeve instead of the usual case.
My Wii came with Wii Sports in a regular case, I do remember seeing Wii Sports later on in cardboard sleeves, pretty crappy of Nintendo for that! How much can a case cost them?
@@fabzfeast9008 Yah mine came in a paper sleeve. I just got a case for a game I never played and put it in there, and put the cover for wii sports over the slip. I left the original slip on the back for the game it was originally designed for. But that Is why I never store it upside down lol.
I don’t really care for physical editions anymore everything is just much more convenient with digital downloads
I did get a Xbox 360 and a disc the disc was free it was in a case it was MLB 2k7 and the disc was broken

Man I used to watch Netflix with my 8th grade friends on this dash. only one of us needed a Netflix account and the rest could watch for free with an invite so there used to be a whole party full of us watching movies together. I always think of mw3, bf3 and Skyrim when I see that dash, good times man good times

The MW3 Xbox 360 is so nostalgic for me, I remember waking up one morning to my dad unboxing the Xbox 360, it was the coolest 360 slim ever honestly.
Man I wish I could see one in person. You are so lucky mine are just Matte Slims but they are my very first slims. Found one at the pawn shop earlier this year and got a free game inside it was Minecraft and the other came from my brother's wife's oldest son who didn't want it anymore
My first gaming console was the mw3 edition for Christmas. Still have it to this day!
@@Vibrixs Unfortunately mine got the Red Dot of Death and was fixed once until one day I got home from school to continue playing BioShock Infinite to it getting the Red Dot of Death again.
I remember unboxing the gears of war special edition xbox christmas morning, still it's my most memorable Xmas as a child

I have never been a fan of Xbox or CoD, but even I felt a little pain when you cut the box open. I guess I'm just a sucker for special/limited edition consoles.
It's a good thing you did get it out though with what those batteries were doing. Everything will be in better shape now.
Messing with corroded junk is awful. I've brought back a badly corroded Wiimote and that was a pita. I don't know if I would go through the trouble again.
i dont see the point in keeping stuff in boxes, then wtf is the point in buying a console or figure if its stuck in a box
@@NippyNep Collecting. I personally open and play my consoles. I also keep all the boxes and packaging and keep everything in pristine condition.
Part of collecting is preservation and having something from so many years ago that has never been opened is a rarity and increases value even if you keep everything as well taken care of as I do.
If you came across this particular Xbox and all you wanted to do was play, you could sell this one, buy a different one and make a good chunk of change.
I have a Hatsune Miku PSP and Vita and even though they are opened they are mainly show pieces because I have other PSPs and Vitas I can play on that aren't as rare.

This is definitely my favorite special edition console. I got mine advertised as “for parts” but it was fully working. I opened it up and reposted the APU, and it is now my main Xbox 360. It’s an awesome design
That second PS3 felt like an era coming to an end. Imagine, you and your friends playing games on the PS3 for years. All those messages had a sense of nostalgia that felt relatable.

I miss when special edition consoles actually came with physical versions of the game. Well it certainly wasn’t when I first started playing games (i’m an 80s baby) i still have a lot of nostalgic love for the 360 era. Playing games like Reach and MW2 (among many others)
I have that special edition console I still use it I love the silver color it looks nice on the shelf 💁🏻♀️
Just use some isopropyl on the battery acid in the battey housing, unless the connections are eaten away its usually fine and takes a minute.

The Kinect 360 dashboard honestly isn’t that bad
It does feel and look more flat and cramped, but the heavy use of Avatars and the green background gives it enough charm to still be pleasant

One day I went to the salvation army I frequent and saw that they were selling a glossy Xbox 360 S system, but the funny thing was that the first "X" in Xbox 360 on the disc drive was missing. Basically they were selling a "box 360" instead of an Xbox 360.

I started picking these up at the swap meets after watching your videos. I just pick them up if there's a game inside and sure enough, the game is 90% of the time Wii Sports. It is insane!

From what I’m given to understand is that some people who have new consoles will take it out of the box once to photograph, put it straight back in and then still sell it as new

I remember getting MW3 for the first time on the ps3, as a reward for doing well on my school. Remembered not liking it because it wasn't MW2. Looking back, it was a decent game compared to what we have now, really wish I gave it a chance
i owned all 360s limited and personally i dont like MW2 but the console was great looking and had the best applied paintjob of all. the worst applied paintjob was the Halo Reach ones, as the paint came off one the controllers right away from just a few days gaming.

i had coroded batteries in my xbox 360 controller i bought 2 days ago (original falcon blades dashboard) AND THE BATTERIES WERE COVERED AND YELLOWED IN ACID
i recommend you to wash your ands quickly after opening/touching corroded batteries AND AVOID CONTACT WITH EYES or somethin bad will happen with your hands (pls like to make jacob see this this is URGENT

Fun fact. People take the analog stick assemblies from the older 360 controllers and out then in newer controllers. They feel alot better too. So please fix those 360 controllers. They are one of the best controllers ever made.

Wow had this console when my son was. 4 nearly 5 back in 11, remember everyday he tried press a few buttons he loved the boot up noise ect. Ended up swapping it for a playstation few yrs later for him, now hes a screaming 16 yr old gamer getting hyped over nose scopeing ect, tbf hes a beast at the game from learining very early but the boot up sound on the console.the 1st tjme he heard it wow 😂the memories great video bro. there was a reason they called those things "Duraleaks". nearly everyone I have had has leaked, used or not. fortunately these things were sealed for the most part.
