There’s a huge opportunity for them to make the train graveyard very spooky, and maybe even drop some lore about why it’s there in the first place. Judging from the design of Eligore, I’d say they’re nailing the spooky part.
@Lain Ok, if they quote "Loveless" in a dramatic manner, you can have my PS4. Anything that even remotely reminds me of Genesis from Crisis Core is gonna make me grit my teeth.
@@holamoco He is basically everything FF7 (and FF in general, to a degree) is mocked for nowadays. He is quite a major character in Crisis Core, and in Dierge of Cerberus he is even hinted to be a future threat (he's in the secret ending, if my memory serves me right.) His character model/voice is some J-pop star called "Gackt", for some reason they wanted to insert him in to the FF7 world. His character is a awful melodramatic edgelord. Every scene he is in he quotes "Loveless" like he is a preacher preaching the holy bible. I can tolerate many annoying characters in FFs but Genesissy is not one of them. in short; a mistake best left forgotten. I hope.
@@guitarwizard123 there are annoying people in real world, the problem starts when characters like that are poorly written, granted some idiotic motivation "just because" or are indeed just a reference to some other character. P.S. The new soldier is going to become a Sephiroth clone for sure.
It all looks wonderful but personally I really hope there aren't as many ridiculous physics breaking motorcycle shenanigans. Totally breaks any immersion.
@Lain nope because it doesn't jar with my brain's innate calculations and can be placed within an appropriate world. Especially having been primed by previous games. Sorry but they are not comparable. Try to be less of a hostile arse the next time you attempt to mock something you haven't really thought very much about. The internet lol. Full of obnoxious morons.
Nathan Gillick They have a point, though. Another example: In the original, Cloud falls 150 feet and doesn’t even break a bone because... he lands in a flower bed? There was always some wacky defiance of real-world physics in Final Fantasy 7. But you are entitled to your opinion, of course.
Nathan Gillick thats not a huge deal. The FFVII planet may have a different gravity from earth’s. Thats the reason why theres so many physics based shenanigans that you cant suspend your disbelief for. its could be why vehicles do that plus @Hephen Stawking point about Cloud jumping from a long drop and not breaking a bone. Gravity and bit of nudge nudge here and there to toss in sci-fi/fantasy/ animeness there.

good video, but be yourself, man. the writing is forced. sounds like you are trying to be a bad nature documentary or something. “aw i want a frog plushie” and “did your JAW just drop” make me zone out. also, the frog spell in the o.g. doesn’t give you access to bubble, it just limits you to a weakened attack and use of items and the transform materia, so it’s not “just like in the original game”.
I am majorly hyped to see just how big this game is going to get and I love the action based combat system!
I love you guys for doing this :) Thank you so much.
Loved the scanning effect. Good job, especially for the ones we haven't seen before
I LOVE how they have introduced the Turks. More like what I think they really would have been like during that period of time!

I love how enemies are more threatening this time around and have their own time in the spotlight.
That new Soldier character worries me.
If he quotes "Loveless" I am throwing my ps4 in the trash.

I don't like those rule of cool jumping moves from FF AC movie, though.
