This patch looks so much better than expected despite the main hype being left for 5.3,insanely excited for the interlude AQ,Ochkanatlan and the event with more Mare Jivari lore! I love how good every patch has been since Arlecchino's.
I really hope that the strike ends by Mavuika release date because as an EN user it kinda makes things a little awkward like the Nahida birthday event since almost everyone was quite so I had to swap it to JP so I just don’t hear silence the whole event. Now I understand why this is going on and I hope it goes well for the EN VAs but I feel like if it’s not addressed soon it’s going to get stupid at least that’s how I feel about it
Hearing voices in the trailer for this which is intended as a build up/hold over until the actual finale is a bad sign. It means that there wasn't as much voiced content but enough that it was recorded in advance. That does not bode well for 5.3, the patch everyone is waiting for as I highly doubt recording was done that far ahead. We may be dealing with a silent English finale for Natlan which would be awful
@@amberxv4777They're gonna pressure, ban and sue everyone except the right people. Knowing how fast they work when it really comes down to what they want, if they really wanted to, they would've set up their own studio months ago, move the voice actors to Furina's ENG VA's studio or something.

Like does hoyo directly hire the voice actors temporarily themselves? Because if so it would give me piece of mind for the 5.3 archon quest
The strike is against the studios that don't agree to the terms. Some studios have signed the contracts and the work continues normally for those working for them. If you want to know more Joe Zieja ( Wriothesley's VA) has made a great video about it here on youtube.
I hope voices will be added in. It's just not the authentic experience without them. I think, like back in Inazuma's time, future updates be on hold until the voices can be updated in.
