How To Light Rapido SW1200 Numberboards (HO Scale)

While working on a pair of Rapido SW1200s I painted for the Pittsburg and Shawmut, the customer asked if I could add lights to the numberboards. To my surprise, there was plenty of room to do so and I figured I'd share it with you all.

I am the customer and was very saddened to find out that these units don't come from the factory with lighted numberboards. But Sonoma Custom Models saved the day. They also did a fantastic job on repainting two of these units that were previously in the Southern paint scheme. The body styles between the two railroads are slightly different so some artistic license was needed. Sonoma Custom Models absolutely nailed it in finding the perfect balance of color placement and striping.
