the under 2 hours thing is a joke, I spent 30 minutes actually enjoying ark: survival evolved and then it started freezing for about 10 minutes before crashing. I spent 4 hours trying to fix it while i only had 30 minutes of playing. It should be 10 hours of game play

I read some controversy on Reddit about whether the responses are always bots, always humans (with a template response), or 1st a bot response, then sometimes a human response if you're persistent enough about games that go beyond 2 weeks after the purchase date, or beyond 2 hours of play.

Ngl though 2 hours is pretty small in terms of game time. They should've made it vary depending on the game. I wanna try out the original 2011 Skyrim but the first 2 hours might be nothing but cutscenes

Also to point out, Steam will also refund it even if it's outside the rules, this works around 7% of the time.

in my opinion 2 hours of play time window is too short to determine
whether the game is good for you or bad, or just plain bad
and 2 weeks of owning window is if u never touch the game or if u only
play for 8.5 minutes per day

Thank you for this. I just bought "I am Setsuna" and i couldn't start new game. Idk what the issue was, maybe it had something to do with controller idk but i was trying to play the game with xbox1 controller on steam and was able to navigate in the menu, except starting new game. It's fine, i refunded the game and purchased it on the switch instead and i'm also having more fun playing it on the switch while just laying in bed.

What happens if I buy a game while the refund is pending? I have enough money to buy a game without the money that was refunded. But if I buy a game will it then not give me the pending refund?
