In the options of Inscryption you can hit a button at the bottom that says “reset save data” it takes you back to the beginning of the game (after you click “yes I’m sure” a million times).

Thanks, there was an achievement on Clustertruck that seemingly required a reset, but the game doesn't give you a great way of doing it, so the last bit really helped me. Make sure you delete any json files too Remember you can also make a backup of your game files if you're like me and are replaying a game.

That broke the game. I launched the game after and boom, black screen of death. And I tried to uninstall and re-install and all that and it still didn't work. So I'm desperate. There is a launch option command to delete everything on the online saved games. Resets your steam achievements as well. I have no idea if it deletes game skins though so be careful.

With the first method I couldn't find any save files, second method and the installed game's number wasn't in both my HDD and SSD. Trying to reset Battlefield 1 because the screen is too zoomed in, and I can't reset it in-game because the setting is outside of the screen. Also, every time I start BF1 I get a BF2042 teaser which I can't close because that button is also offscreen. HELP
@@yhanhugo3182 Yeah, when opening BF5 or 4 you go in some sort of BF menu thing, and not in the game. It's kinda hard to explain, but from there I can see all my BF games I own. From there I could change the settings for my BF1. I think that that's how I did it, not sure though...

For some reason I can't reset the progress on Sniper Elite 5 doing either of these tricks. It doesn't show any save folders, but even if I delete everything and load the game it takes me right back to my current progress.
the game number doesn't show in the userdata folder. the game i'm trying to reset is Geometry dash because the data isn't syncing since i switched accounts recently.
if you do this for hitman 2 be aware it will first say a few times it cant connect keep trying and then it will then the save files show as corrupted but will ask if you wish to delete them so say yes then bam lovely clear slots. im not sure if another game auto connects me to the cloud again that it will redownload my old saves for hitman 2 again though.

This only works until you want to enable cloud sync again. How do I delete the cloud data?

the cloud setting in steam means absolutely nothing if the game has its own setting and can do whatever it wants. steam sucks.
