What “type” are these blocks? I’ve seen reference to size/shape “typing” in a Couple locations online, but no clear explanation of what’s what.

Hey Dillon! I think I will need a bit more information on "type". Do you mean east west? Step of stone (Aratoishi, Nakatoishi, Awasedo)? Once I know more of the question I can tell you.

Aizu is very difficult to find but some sellers will have a small amount and you can usually find some on the KFF buy/sell thread. naturalwhetstones.com/blade-sharpening/reputable-japanese-natural-stone-jnat-nagura-sellers/
