Annapoorna is an emotion, which can't be expressed by words. Thanks to the people running it for decades, for keeping the values so high.
Im from hyderabad .... i studied in chenni and once visited Annapurna in coimbatore during a trip and i never forgot the food and the coffee ... the coffee nearly made me cry with joy .... then recently few days ago while returning from trip to ooty with my family we stopped in coimbatore and i took my family to Annapurna ... they loved the food ... the elders , kids and all .... Annapurna is as much as an emmotion to me as to a coimbatore person .. love from hyderabad ❤ ....
Originally, The Annapurna founders are of Telugu origin (Naidus). They speak even now A sort of mixed Telugu at their homes. There were no states before 1954. People migrated here and there and settled wherever their business flourished. Technically, the Sambhar/ Filter Coffee/ and the so called Roast ( crispy dosa) was of Coastal Andhra Cuisine (West or East Godavari). I am Coimbatorean (Son of the soil). I have lived in Telangana, Andhra ( Bhimavaram), Kerala and Karnataka - I am also a foodie. The above info is based on research of pre and post independence migration of Indian communities.....
Annapoorna's sambhar idly ❤❤❤ will be the first thing I order everytime I visit... It's heaven.... And that drinking of rest of the sambhar with the remainings of crumbled idly is an emotion

I hate Annapoorna for squeezing out all other independent/small eateries,. Cities like Chennai, Bengaluru. Madurai and many more, one can visit multiple hotels with different tastes competing which are really better than whatever the same shit Annapoorna offers. 🤣🤣
