Your ability to point your toes without curling them is so impressive! For me to do that, the foot is essentially straight. Passed that point, any C shape from the foot means I'm curling the joints of my toes which are supposed to stay extended. May take years to get there!! Goals...
It may indeed take years to get there! One of my favorite quotes is "there are no unreasonable goals, only unreasonable timelines." Also, "we tend to overestimate what we can do in a year, but underestimate what we can do in 10 years." So, keep working at it and you'll get there! :)
I can't extend the toes as well...I feel like I'm curling them because instinctively all the effort I put on comes from the toes if that makes sense. And I feel like it should come from underneath the foot? From the arches? Am I wrong to think that? But I just can't make the right muscles move. Any advice other than keep working on it? Cause I feel it wont change anything .it's like asking me to raise my left eyebrow .I completely understand task. But there is zero muscle memory there.
This is very common! Cramps are caused by 1 of 3 things ... (1) Tightness (2) Weakness (3) Nutrition. Start by ruling out nutrition, making sure you're getting all of your vitamins, minerals, and enough water. Chat with your doctor for more assistance on that! And then for tightness, massage the arches of your feet with the ball regularly, at least daily if not twice daily. For weakness, start gently doming, working up to it little by little. Keep going with the other exercises that don't cause your feet to cramp (if any) to keep building that strength! Happy pointing! :)

Thank you!
That proprioception exercise I really needed. I have terrible balance.
Keep up the hard work! Balance is learned!
This was great
Glad to hear it! Thanks for your comment!! :)
Doming causes my arches to immediately cramp up - how do I make them stop?
